Between these two, which would you pick?

Would you rather wear a cologne that has amazing top notes but has kind of mediocre or lame base notes, or would you rather wear a cologne that has kind of meh top notes but amazing base notes, which...

    Deodorant?

Now, I know this is mainly a cologne/perfume forum, but I'm curious which deodorants you guys use when you're not wearing cologne, and which one gets you compliments. There are some deodorants I...
  3. Re: What was the first fragrance you bought after joing basenotes?

I think it was Acqua Di Gio, to be entirely honest.... +1 for originality...
  4. Re: I need help finding a new cologne. Suggestions?

    Re: Good Summer Cologne

Cool Water works great in the summer, it's got that nice, aquatic scent which works well with warm weather imo.
  6. I need help finding a new cologne. Suggestions?

So, it's been almost half a year since I've gotten any new cologne, and I figured it'd do me good to buy a new one. Here's what I've currently got that I like a lot: Cool Water, Unforgivable, and...

Re: GF wants me to get A&F Fierce...

I'd honestly say just get it to make the gf happy (the secret to success with women, imho) BUT, try curve perhaps... well. Here's what I say: take the GF shopping with you and help her pick with...

Re: A Men's Fragrance That Actually Lasts?

Well a lot of it has to do with body chemistry, honestly. I put on one spray of any of my colognes at 5 in the morning and I can still smell it at 6 when I get home. I've got this stuff called Realm...

Re: Scent for a regular joe=)

I'd say Acqua Di Gio or Cool Water, even Old Spice maybe, but that takes skill to pull off these days...it's too (dare I say) stuffy for the regular joe.

Re: How long does a bottle of cologne last you?

I have yet to run out of a cologne yet...but I use only 1 spray a day... I'd give it a year if you're using that many sprays.

    Re: Fragrances for College

Acqua Di Gio is perhaps the greatest college type scent...you'll smell amazing, trust me. It smells very fresh and young too, so not fuddy duddy either. You should check it out.

Sticky: Re: Which scent gets you the most female compliments?

Um...to be entirely honest out of the 8 or 9 colognes I own, none has garnered more compliments than (gasp!) American Eagle 77 Cologne. I've had people literally say to me "god, you smell good!"...

    Re: Axe - moving up!

shudder Axe smelled good to me at one point...in 8th grade. Now I can't stand the smell of that stuff and instinct is no exception. I think it smells like bug spray or something. Horrid stuff.

    Re: Polo Double Black

It doesn't smell bad at all, in fact, it smells pretty good. It is, however, a little forgettable. Not too "energetic" smelling, either. Just try some, see if you like it. It's a good, safe,...

    Re: Pheromone colognes?

Haha ok then. I already have a gf by the way ;-) I'm not desperate or anything like that, just looking to try something new. I'll stick to what works for now. Unforgivable smells amazing.

    Pheromone colognes?

So I'm kinda interested in the whole pheromone cologne idea...maybe it might work, maybe it doesn't, but I'm not opposed to trying it. I do own a bottle of Realm, but I'm not fond of the smell. ...
  20. Re: what would you wear to the prom out of these?

I own the Chanel cologne, and I think it's a great choice, but it's a tad...fruity, to be honest. I'd have to agree with surreality, though. The nose never lies. Chances are, if you love it,...

Re: Help me pick a new Cologne, please

I also really like "floral" smelling colognes... Any suggestions there? Right now I'm kinda split between Cool Water and Unforgivable.
