A million percent agree the slight tea note in CB makes it more wearable and longevity is amazing.

Another for Eau des Baux and La Nuit.
Midnight in Paris as well, especially for a romantic outing.
I Love NY for All
YSL L'Homme by far, used to be my signature scent. Now I don't have any signature scent lol.
They have so many fragrances to choose from the like to dislike ratio of course is gonna be dis-proportioned lol.
I thoroughly enjoy Bleeker St, Brooklyn and Coney Island. For some reason I have...
Yes you have a broken nose, go to the Doc and get it fixed. Lol
No but really I get pineapple every time I spray it, so maybe there is one note that is more dominant to your nose than any of the...
I know that at one point Creed would print MILLÉSIME on the front of the box and MILLESIME on the back to throw counterfeiters off. Because common knowledge would tell counterfeiters to make the word...
I do agree with your interpretation of Aventus and SMW. Haven't fully tested the others to get a good general idea of the fragrances dry down.
Why is Chez Bond never really in the mix of this comparison?
Oh yeah I forgot Bond no.9 is pretty much disliked on Basenotes. Lol carry on.
Also there is the most hated...
Such as Bond no.9 which I don't understand, Actually they have some very good fragrances specifically Bleeker St, Brooklyn and Coney Island.
Another addition to...
A*Men, Pure Malt, Pure Havane
Dior Homme (original formulation)
Gucci Pour Homme II
There are quite a few.
Unremarkable in all aspects.
Edition Blanche by far!
If the EdP lasts longer than the EdT then that is amazing because the EdT lasts a good 12+ hours on my skin with amazing projection for about 6-8 hours. Definitely one that I can put on at 7:00am and...
Not sure of your location but check Sephora they still continue to carry Gucci Pour Homme in some locations.
I definitely agree with Prada Infusion d'Homme I liked it for awhile but that powdery floral is just too much and too feminine for me. It was a impulse buy bought it after a testing of about 30mins....
Wow it's no way I would've passed up that deal, I wish I would find GPHII in Marshalls for that cheap, it would have been an instant buy! Lol.
I think I may get me a backup bottle as well. One of...
Bond no. 9 New York Oud
I am pleasantly surprised by this one, Oud is not typically my taste but something about this stuff (maybe sweetness of the plum) is great. Not on the buy list but I will...
Prada Amber Pour Homme
I have not smelled vintage DHI
But I do own vintage DH and reformulated DHI.
I prefer vintage DH to reform DHI. I can actually do without DHI it isn't as grand as many may have you think. DH is...
No problem non what so ever. People re-apply all the time.
I sometimes will apply a fragrance with another fragrance deep in the dry down, usually of the same family. For instance I may wear Dior...
Tea for Two??? I thought this was discontinued. I see it's available only in European countries but is out of stock in the US That's crazy.
Will probably get me a back up bottle. Then again, I have about 35 fragrances will I wear it that much to use it all and need a back up.....hmmm????
A conundrum I must ponder.
A nice fruity (sweet) citrus (tart) for summer with the Mugler amazing longevity and projection would be nice.
Rive Gauche Pour Homme
Seems like a perfect match for what was described.
They are both different enough to warrant owning both.
Try fragrancenet may have it, I purchased my DHI from there.
Cool Water or Acqua di Gio
They are favorites, mainstream and more than likely will not offend anyone.
Agreed own Brooklyn and love it, ordering a bottle of Coney Island probably next week. I definitely love Coney Island it just puts me in a happy mood, I wanna actually sample in hot weather. I have...
Mugler Cologne are far ahead of the rest.
Dunhill Fresh is a good fragrance as well that is slept on it is by master perfumer Maurice Roucel (i.e. Rochas Man, New Haarlem, Musc Ravageur, etc.)
Lolita is definitely licorice, however I have only smelled it on card.
Dior Homme Intense on this chilly day.
I couldn't agree with this more.
Also I will recommend Mugler Cologne it is a great fragrance and as soon as this weather is consistent it will definitely be worn a lot for me.
Bond no.9: Coney Island, Bleeker St, and Brooklyn
Creed: Virgin Island Water, Silver Mountain Water and Aventus
You are correct and I thank you.
Not sure of the price, I find originals fairly easily. Being that it was in the attic I would be somewhat concerned about exposure to elements that may make it less than desirable.
Second Eau des Baux
I haven't nor would I consider or recommend.
Let some get into the urine dispenser hole and it seems like a burning that not even hell could match.
DH and DHI are leaves on the same branch. Meaning they share similarities but no two leaves are alike they all have their own unique characteristics.
DHS is a totally different tree in a different...
This ^^^^....creamier, more rich and smooth imo.
I've never smelled the vintage but the vanilla in the reformulated definitely isn't as prominent. However it does have more of a cocoa powder vibe to my nose. Still good juice.
Oh how times change. Apparently early on in my fragrance journey I was unable to detect notes, I revisited it last week and was blown away. I definitely get the gourmand starting in the mid and...
+1 for Cartier Roadster and YSL Live Jazz
Fragrancenet will do good for you.
Loving this stuff, may be my next purchase it puts me in a great mood.
I agree that Issey Summer 2013 is a disappointment. It was all a marketing ploy imo. Kiwi sounded amazing in the fragrance, and pineapple seems to be the new "it" note in fragrances, the bottle is...
Bond no. 9 Coney Island
Very much so, damn shame actually. Beefing on youtube over people being friends with other people and whatnot. Smh.
IMO La Nuit and M7 may get cloying in the summer, yet some people wear whatever fragrance they want to wear year round, it's all personal preference.
L'Homme on the other hand is a year round...
+1 definitely was gonna suggest Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme and of course the masterpiece Gucci Pour Homme II,
I love Mugler Cologne haven't broken this baby out this year yet, I enjoy wearing this in the high heat! Original Vetiver is a copy of Mugler Cologne, as MC existed first!
Hanae Mori HM is definitely what you are looking for. Citrus, floral, gourmand! Very cheap as well!!!
Possibly just doesn't project much. Though a fragrance may last for days doesn't mean that it is a projection beast.
Yours has tracking information constantly being updated, imagine having no information updated for a week or 2....happened to me.
I am sure you will be fine.
Ockham's Razor suggests that the simplest answer is the best answer......
No truer words have been spoken in this thread.
I think that's why Robes08 aka Marc is able to continue doing it, because his real life takes him away from reviewing for every quarter of the year....
I give it a 3 out of 5. To my nose it has a grape popsicle vibe, neroli is definitely a prominent player in it. I would say that it is a fresh fragrance. For the price you got it for you can't go...
Chanel Allure Homme Sport may fit your needs well. Terre d' Hermes may do well too though it has a more sophisticated vibe that may not be appreciated by others your age.
Order samples of Aventus...
I own the EdT of TdH and it easily lasts over 10 hours on my skin.
I agree with everything you said, this isn't formal at all to me, not tuxedo formal. Go out casual, date, get together its all good but corporate bosses formal not so much.
The only fragrance that I consider a gourmand that I can really wearing on a hot summer day outside is Hanae Mori HM doesn't get cloying and the citrus, floral, gourmand vibe is great for the summer....
Idk it seems old school Mafioso type of fragrance.
As of right now this very moment.
1. Gucci Pour Homme II
3. Bleeker St
4. Terre d' Hermes
Lol this is funny cuz I sure was gonna recommend Hanae Mori HM but he seemed pretty specific with the two he wanted to choose from.
"hot humid beach all summer, and my winter will be blizzardy in WI"
I would choose Dior Homme I think it's the most versatile of all the Dior Homme line.
Great fragrance imo, I agree with everyone else just hold on to it and give it a few more wearings.
So @buysblind made the comment about a fragrance being a bit stronger after the first initial sprays. So I shook the bottle to get the juices all mixed well (doubt if the had any significance) and...
So it seems as though most are getting at least adequate longevity and projection.
Very, very interesting you know I actually wouldn't doubt this at all. Some fragrances are pretty powerful...
Mugler Cologne got a lot of play last summer for me, I wore it for about a week straight. I wish I had been using the SOTD thing then because I know I wore that stuff the majority of last summer.
Same for me....
Its all about personal preference.
Aventus is undoubtedly a fan favorite yet I think we all know what Aventus is capable of and a wedding may not be the best place for Aventus to show its face.
2. Pure Havane
3. Pure Malt
4. Dior Homme Intense
Lol okay cool if you were mad I was gonna say give 16 sprays of Kouros a shot. Hahaha.
GIT is inoffensive and a favorite. Not sure what the weather is like in the UK in October here it's still...
A*Men is one of my favorites....however I am a gourmand lover.
With that said, I will say women that have smelled it on me love it. That chocolate, caramel, vanilla drydown is amazing.
Never smelled the Guerlain
EB is a lemon cream pie/lemon meringue pie. I get great longevity from it, yet others complain that it only lasts a few hours.
No blind buy is ever safe, hope this...
I actually never came across such luck.
Aventus oh my dear Aventus have ye knowth not than to bestow ye godly presence to a mere mortal???
Art without a doubt.
So tell me more about your brother getting married and you not being the best man, how do you feel about that?
Mugler Cologne by light years! Clearly...no debating!
Pure Havane or Dior Homme Intense
MiP EdP is my SOTD it is an amazing fragrance.
Hopefully some fellow members from the UK can guide you in the right direction. Good luck.
Midnight in Paris EdP
Um.....nah PI doesn't smell like I Love NY for All though it is still a gourmand with that breakfast like vibe.
The thing that sets ILNYFA is that it has that coffee cocoa, nutty vibe where as man...
30mL of Antonio Banderas The Secret
6.99 at Marshalls I said what the hell....does resemble One Million a lot and this stuff is potent as well.
Um designer fragrances no, however I one MJ Legend and I own a few MJ retro kicks.
