Great replies everyone!
My go-to for bed is Agua Levanda by Puig. It's inexpensive (but not cheap smelling at all...), cannot be over applied and smells of a light, aromatic, natural lavender. It...
I've found this to be true as well... A fragrance that comes to mind is Ho Hang Club by Balenciaga. Initially, I respected the composition, but didn't feel that it was "wearable." After giving it...
My sentiments are similar to others who have posted; there isn't a fragrance that suits everyone. Body chemistry has so much to do with how a fragrance develops. I've found this to be the case with...
New Ego (Christine Darvin)
Le Male could always work, but I'd lean to the barbershop-esque frags and those that are slightly on austere side. For this time of year, I'd steer clear of Le Male... If I was going to go with a...
4 Voleurs (L'Occitaine)
One Man Show
Obsession-See ya Hednic, off to work :)
Wow, great question and very difficult to answer! I've asked a similar question to friends with regard to music... The answers to that question and this one are enlightening; one's preferences and...
Dior Eau Sauvage EDT (the EDP is too viscous IMO)
Guerlain Habit Rouge
Deep Roses (Montale)
Eau d'Elide (Diptyque)
I would personally take EN (and EN Sport) over Wonderwood. I feel that both of these are more dynamic and have better longevity.
It sort of depends on attire, but I'll throw a few ideas out there based on the season.
In the summer: Royall Rugby
In the fall: vintage Kouros
In the winter: vintage Quorum
As far as reasonably priced vintage formulations go, the following come to mind:
1. Caron Pour Un Homme
2. Gianfranco Ferre for Man
3. Monsieur Balmain (2nd formulation in frosted yellow bottle)...
In no particular order...
1. Gianfranco Ferre for Man (vintage)
2. Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (vintage)
3. Balenciaga Pour Homme
4. Azzaro Pour Homme Intense
5. Krizia Moods Uomo
Bleu de Chanel is good fragrance, but overhyped. I respect it the fact that wearers enjoy it, but after testing it on multiple occasions via decant, I never latched onto this one...On that same...
I realize I am VERY late to this party, but after reading your post, and generally feeling similarly about the entire A-Men line, I'd like to make a couple of suggestions...
1. Eau de Baux: My...
Narcisco Rodriguez for Men

I'll go with Obsession

Oops, too late, Lol!

Sweetstench408 has some great suggestions. Issey Miyake in nearly any incarnation is/are solid. Kiton Men is a slept-on gem that can be had at reasonable prices and Chanel Allure Homme Blanche or the...
I'm pretty late to the party, but I have a few suggestions based on a limited budget. Just because you're not dropping $150+ on a fragrance doesn't mean that it won't be good!

Hednic's the man! When I "grow up," I want to have experienced just 1/2 of the fragrances that he has (let alone own them). Hednic has forgotten more about fragrance than I may ever know... Truth!!!...
