Smelled Mugler Pure Malt yesterday while getting holiday gifts.

I would suggest looking at some of the other iconic classics like Mitsouko, Vol de Nuit, and Sous Le Vent.

Definitely try Egoiste but we warned both scents are worlds apart from one another. I suggest trying Antaeus and Pour Monsieur.

For Pure Malt consider looking Lubin Idole and Kilian Straight to Heaven. Frapin 1270 is another alternative to Pure Malt, there's almost the same amount of sweetness in that one.

If you're able I would recommend trying Thierry Mugler Pure Havane. Thierry Mugler fragrances particularly the A MEN flankers as a whole might be something for you.

Went with Bayrhum Vetiver as I wanted to wear something that smells festive.

It's a wonderful scent. I'm glad you were able to get yourself to wear it. I recommend sampling the vintage formulation as well, imo it's even better.

I'm not big on cardamom but if it blends well with other notes that would work me. For this fragrance however, I didn't care for it much. Then again your nose will likely be different from mine.

Clive Christian C would be a good alternative to Tuscan Leather.

I'm surprised Tom Ford survived to this point.

They're at different level - there's definitely contrast in the quality of the scent.

It's a good one. I think there's better vintage scents out that would take priority over it.
