I actually have a full size 100ml bottle in my bag everyday lol
I fell in love with it immediately after testing and bought a full bottle.
I get very good longevity out of it, about 8 hours.
The original. I have not seen this flanker yet.
According to the "Best-selling" charts at Sephora, it is currently the #1 best selling men's fragrance in Singapore at the moment, lol.
Rive Gauche... just feels so clean.
All the "Sports" scents that smell of nothing.
How is the longevity?
I'll die if Opium pH is discontinued.
La Nuit really works for me, ppl can smell it miles away.
And also Opium EDT. I have not tried the EDP yet.
3 on my chest and 1 down the back of my shirt - doesn't seem to annoy anyone. Anything less and I can't smell it after a few hours/
Lost count of the number of recent "sport" releases....
Armani Code Sport, Issey Miyake d' Issey Sport.... blah, blah, blah.
Will never buy any "sport" fragrances.
I really wanted to like it, but the longevity was a let down for me.
I wanted to like it because of the bottle, but it was just very pedestrian to me.
I own Opium pour Homme, La Nuit and Body Kouros.
But my favourite is Opium pour Homme.
Syrupy sweetness - A* Men
I'm trying to save more money so I can quit my job. So I'm just going to treat myself to CK Shock this Christmas.
Yeah, it's my all-time favorite fragrance, but I hate the bottle.
I love them both, but I can definitely tell them apart.
I like loud fragrances. What's the point if I can't even smell it myself after a few hours?
Just tried it an hour ago - I had rather high expectations since everyone said it's pretty damn good for a CK fragrance, and I wasn't disappointed.
I'm wearing Opium pH today, and somehow I felt...
I'm wearing 1 Million today.
3 sprays to the chest, 1 down the back of the shirt.
A*Men Taste of Fragrance
Rive Gauche PH (Can't find this in Singapore)
Mont Blanc Presence
Rive Gauche PH
I have it, I use it, and I like it. Nothing complicated, just a nice, safe scent for hot weather.
My friend has Charriol Homme Sport. It's a safe scent, but I thought it was rather pleasant.
How about Chrome? Fresh-summer and great longevity, even when I'm perspiring buckets.
I also like Versace Pour Homme.
My humble collection.
I think Versace Pour Homme is better than Eau Fraiche.
Mont Blanc Legend
Btw, other recommendations which you may like:
- YSL La Nuit (one of my favs)
- Paco Rabanne Black XS
- Givenchy Pi
- 1 Million
I'm from Singapore also.
Joop is available, and HR can be found at Guerlain counters.
I used to love DD when it first came out, but I can't remember what it smells like anymore.
Mickey would be wearing A*Men.
I have both La Nuit and Body Kouros, they're definitely very different, and yet, two of my favourite scents. Try Hypnose Homme as well.
La Nuit (one of my favs)
And one off the list - Body Kouros
There are the old-school classics - Aramis, Chanel Egoiste, Guerlain Vetiver, and then there are the new-school classics - A*Men, Le Male
I'm relatively new to collecting, and I find that most of...
1) Le Male
2) Body Kouros
3) Opium pH
5) One Million - La Nuit (tie)
I just saw this at Sephora - went ahead and sprayed some on my arm - decent scent, a bit boring, but I was pleasantly surprised. First thought was "This smells good... ", but I'm not sure if I'll buy...
If I love Opium pH edt, then I will love .................. ?
Please don't say Opium edp!
Finally joined the Le Male fan club today!
All discovered through inserts in GQ magazines lol
I bought this last month. A little sweet, a little bitter - I love it. And longevity is pretty good on me as well.
Yes, yes, yes. An attractive bottle will definitely make me more keen to try out the scent. I remember I didn't want to buy Body Kouros even though I like the smell of it cos I thought the bottle was...
Cross-posted from the other collection thread:
Just started collecting in January.
Just started collecting in January so my collection is really small.
I find Bleu and Allure Homme Sport to be rather boring, but I do like Allure Homme.
Creed Silver Mountain Water - can't afford at the moment
Dior Homme Intense - can't find
Rive Gauche - can't find the 125ml bottle locally
I bought Chrome coz I wanted something that makes me feel fresh when the weather is blazing hot. It has a soapy, "just-out-of-shower" feel which I love. Longevity is average on me, but it stays...
I just made a similar thread last week, and I ended up buying Chrome.
Just picked up:
Azzaro Chrome 100ml (for hot weather)
Lancome Hypnose 75ml - amazing bottle!
I've tried Guerlain L'eau, it was alright, didn't really blow my mind. Actually I've only tried both D'Issey and Chrome on paper so maybe I'll go spray some on my skin to do a proper testing - can't...
Need to get a summer fragrance as my wardrobe comprises mostly of the heavier ones - La Nuit, Opium, A*Men. I've been reading up and it appears that L'eau D'Issey and Chrome seem to be the ones with...
I generally like "sweet" fragrances (Le Male, La Nuit, 1 Million) but I don't like Roadster.
I ride a motorcycle to work, by the time I reach the destination, whatever fragrance I'm wearing is almost gone. So nowadays I just put my bottle in my bag, and spray when I get off the bike.
I'm wearing this today :)
I saw this at the local Sephora the other day, smelled it on paper and thought it was rather pleasant, albeit safe, and wanted to do more research on the internet. However I can't find this listed on...
Like you, I also like A* Men, 1 million, Givenchy Pi and Xeryus Rouge.
So I'll recommend:
YSL La Nuit
YSL Body Kouros
I'm new to the world of fragrance - keep reading about Creeds and yet to try any. Can only wonder how great they can be.
Just now I went sniffing around during my lunch break and got a few test sprays on paper.
Le Male - I'm glad I decided to give it another try. Definitely different from Le Male Summer (which I...
Sorry double post.
Thanks guys, great recommendations here, some of which I don't think I'll ever be able to find though. I've also been following the "Manly scent for guy in his 30s" thread and think I might want to...
Hi guys, I just started getting into frags this year, and I've been reading and doing lots of research on Basenotes everyday. Prior to my discovery of the BN community, I only had one bottle - 212...
