Re: Thierry Mugler Les Parfums de Cuir (2012)

I sampled this yesterday and was very dissapointed. I wanted something new, like how Pure Malt was new, but this is nearly identical to A*Men. While really searching for differences I noticed a bit...

    Misc. Conifer Resin

    1633816339

I collected some resin from a tree I found that had been wounded and was dripping heavily. I don't know the specific species of the tree but I'm guessing it was a pine of some sort. ...

Poll: Re: What should be next A*Men pure..... ?

    Pure Chai.

It would be heavy on the sweet spices like cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, anise. More like a chai latte than just tea to keep with the gourmand theme.

I think Burberry London would be great. It's mature but with no 'barber shop' feel to it. It's woody with pine notes (like a christmas tree) and it is not too sythetic at all.

    Favourite prominent gourmand notes.

In the range of gourmand and gourmandish fragrances, what is your favourite note that stands out in a fragrance? Also, which fragrance does this the best?

    Examples could be:

    Re: Lacoste Essential: Essentially Awful

I think Lacoste did try to make a main stream scent here, but to me it is better than a lot of the others. The tomato leaf accord mixes it up and keeps it from becoming a noise-aching fresh aquatic...
