TV is a power house. 1 spray will give you good longevity and projection. 50 ml will last a long time.
One of my all time favorites, but I'd suggest getting a sample first.
This. Encre Noire made me realize I don't like Vetiver.
1. Green Irish Tweed
2. Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
3. Creed Royal Oud
4. Tom Ford Italian Cypress
5. Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
Vetiver..and more vetiver. Smelled like plant roots freshly pulled out of the ground. Wasn't for me.
Tom Ford Tobacco Oud
TV. Though as said above, there are better fragrances from the line.
Le labo rose 31
I hate Creed sprayers.. It's almost impossible to get a good spray right away, you have to keep pressing in order to get that blast you are talking about. It's incredibly annoying and a waste of...
SMW is a good one. It actually took my nose a while to realize that I was smelling an actual tea note. I'd agree with the poster above, buy yourself a larger decant and if you go through it then...
I have sprayed mine to test it out, but have yet to wear it. I'll give it a proper wearing to make a final judgement, but as of now it's not my thing either. It does have the barbershop vibe, but...
I like all of my colognes sprayed on.
I would suggest sampling first. The boozy/rum note really seems to jump out to me, which I'm not the biggest fan of. It's still a good juice though.
I'd love to see them do an Amber. Incense, Amber, and spice would be nice.
I'd be happy if they took some fragrances out of the "vault". That, and make Creed Spice and Wood available in a 4 oz bottle.
Italian Cypress is the only fragrance I own a back up bottle of. I don't think I'll ever run out at the rate I'm going, which is a good thing because it's one of my favorites.
That said, I may be...
Just received Rive Gauche in the mail today.
Creed Original Santal
I wasn't planning on much, but I have my eyes on...
Creed Spice and Wood
Also looking at a few others.
La Nuit seemed the best to me out of the ones I've sampled. It's the only one that made it into my collection because I got a great deal on it at the time.
Both. I will eventually start rotating stuff out of my collection if I lose interest in it and replace it with something else. I don't need my collection to get too much bigger than it is now. At...
Thanks again OP for the heads up!!
That was quick, just got the tracking number.
Wow, i just slid in on that one!
I caved and ordered one. We'll see if they have enough. Especially since guys went out and ordered 4-5 cans, and hoarded them.
GIT, because it's the best smelling scent in the entire line!
I own both, and enjoy them both. That said, Prada Amber Intense is one of my favorites. IMO it's a superior smelling fragrance, isn't as linear as La Nuit, and is slightly more unique. Not a great...
I'm guessing maybe 3k.
Picked up Creed Original Santal, Tom Ford Tobacco Oud, and Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan.
I own and enjoy both. That said, Tuscan Leather is one of my favorites. TV can be cloying at times, and I wish the tobacco note was amped up a bit and hung around a little longer. I usually wear my...
Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
I really want a bottle of this. I can't find one anywhere near me, or at least for what I'm willing to pay.
Thanks for doing this! I've always been interested in these types of lists.
Bleu de Chanel then La Nuit
BDC is truly a gem.
Although the DHI will be worn by the wifey. I'm also a little worried about the kitchen spice reviews of Ambre Sultan.
Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
Dior Homme Intense
Creed original Santal
Good stuff. Smells the same from the opening to the end to me. Low level projection, and low level longevity for me.
I wore TV yesterday under my shirt for this exact reason. Half a spray was still a beast.
I own both, but Italian Cypress is miles better imo. A true gentlemen's cologne....well to my nose! Italian Cypress is the only cologne in my wardrobe that I own a backup of(although I will add one...
GIT, and it immediately became my #1. I ordered a bottle on the spot.
Out of the PB line I own:
**I'll be placing an order for Tobacco Oud within the next 2 months**
My very close second...
I love my 2.5oz Royal Oud, it's one of my favorite scents. I do wish it was a 4oz bottle though, not really a fan of the 2.5's. Creed should have put this out from the start.
Only one so far, Prada Amber Intense. I let the wifey talk me out of my appreciation for it, and I probably ended up getting another bottle within two months. It will always be in my collection now.
Ebay. I paid $175 for a brand new bottle still in the wrapper.
Remember I said "if your patient", which means it's not a regularity, but it does happen.
I'd have to say that $200-$250 is tops for AA. They actually can be had for <$200 if your patient.
I have over 40 bottles, and a ton of samples. I don't think I plan on going much higher than that, I may add a few, but for the most part I'll sell and replace a few bottles down the road with...
I'm a big fan of Tobacco Oud. The first time I wore it, I wasn't really impressed by it. Then I decided to try it again, and was hooked. I don't expect it to be a crowd pleaser, or a date night...
That's probably the one thing i don't like about Bentley Intense, the boozy note.
One of my favorites. A masterpiece!
I love Silver Mountain Water. It's one of my favorite scents, and I guess I'm lucky because my bottle's longevity keeps going and going. I can smell it the next day.
I would love to have the ability to buy a new product if it just so happens to be what I'm looking for. If the seller happens to make a few bucks from me in the process, so be it. If buyers do a...
GIT easily....nothing touches it.
Just turned 36.
I spray my chest, and I'm a clothes sprayer.
Nothing alike imo. Code is well done though, despite the fact it's more of a skin scent for me.
Thanks! I missed the convenience of that button.
No ink note in the bottle I use to own. It was very earthy smelling to me. Almost like I had pulled a plant fresh from the ground and smelled the roots. Not for me.
Is it just me, or did the popular forums button disappear? I use to be able to find the male & general forums easily from there. I don't see it anymore, am I missing something?
Sometimes it doesn't load at all for me.
Looking for a bottle of Creed Original Santal. Don't want a tester bottle or decant, and the bottle must have a cap.
I try not to wear fragrances when I'm super tired, sick, etc. I feel that I'll start associating that particular fragrance with whatever I'm feeling, and not care for it any longer.
Bleu de Chanel
Prada Amber pour homme intense
Burberry for men(I think it's still out there?)
I usually get the "this is the most popular fragrance from ________". Which is actually a turn off to me. I don't like smelling like everyone else.
The funniest thing that happened with a SA, was...
Tom Ford Italian Cypress
I could do without a flanker, as GIT is by far my #1. That said, they could just do a 30th anniversary special edition bottle.
ehhh....the more I think about it, I think they should just leave...
Creed Royal Oud
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
I got into fragrances from my dad who let me "try" his Calvin Klein Obsession when I was probably about 9 or 10. I've been hooked ever since.
I wore my sample the other day. My nose isn't the greatest, but I'm getting something that is almost similar to Chergui, although slightly woodsier. The problem for me is whatever Dueto uses in the...
They wifey doesn't compliment much at all, but her favorite is Green Irish Tweed by a mile.
I didn't care for it but I haven't cared for any of the Bonds I've sampled.
I consider myself a collector, but I'm not buying something just to have it make my collection "complete". I buy the scents I love from the houses I like.
Speaking of the U02 batch, I have this one and when I first got the bottle I believed the projection and longevity were a little less than desired. Fast forward a few months, and this batch is a...
You've made me want to sample this one now. I'm trying to locate a sample of it now!
Burberry for Men
I like your style!
I guess I have a sample of this on the way as well. Hope it surprises me.
She's interested in starting her own collection, ever since she got her first Creed as a gift from me.
I have a few Bond samples (chez bond, bleecker st, new haarlem), but I don't care for the way they are constructed. I'm by no means an expert on fragrances, but Bonds just come across as cheap...
Any more specific thoughts on this one? Scent, longevity, projection etc..etc???
I own both, but Tuscan Leather is by far the better scent to my nose.
I believe mine is from a '13 batch. The smell is great, very bright. Longevity is average, probably less than 5 hours. Projection is moderate. Smells so good though!
Not much similarity to me. Also, Prada Amber phi is heads and shoulders above L'Homme and La Nuit imo. That said, I own Prada and La Nuit and enjoy both.......I just enjoy the Prada Amber phi more.
IMO, yes it's too masculine. I wouldn't care for the scent on a woman, but that's just me. That said, you should wear what you like!
Not fond of it either, nor was my family. The bonds I've tried just don't do it for me. One house I'll pass on.
Honestly, I like it year round.
Doesn't sound anything at all like OS to me. To me OS is very "in your face" for the first 30 minutes. I do love the smell though, from the opening to the dry down. Good stuff.
I haven't had the pleasure of smelling IB yet, but Italian Cypress is one of my favorites. I get great longevity out of it, and moderate projection. I've made sure I have enough to last myself a...
