Safe travels to JR and ExtremeK (are you Daim Blonde m'dear?). Bavard she's off to Iceland, the lucky thing!

I'm scented in vintage Madame Rochas bath oil. It's sweltering here and I really...

    Re: Vintage Fragrance Discussion

Ah Danieq! Such a lovely thread to have started. I do love a bit of vintage smells and have been very fortunate to be gifted some beauties. My treasures are the bottles of vintage Cuir de Russie...

Re: What frags have you bought more than once?

Me too! Also have multiple bottles of Cuir de Russie (both concentrations, modern and vintage), Mitsouko, Bois des Îles, Trussardi, L'heure Bleue, Eau de Patou, No.5 and No.19.
  86. Re: searching for good beast mode fragnance/designer or niche quality.

Maybe try something by Andy Tauer, I have a sample of Lonestar Memories and that little vial could conceivably last me the remainder of my days. Slumberhouse has a reputation of producing some very...

Re: SOTD: Thursday, 12th November, 2015

Continuing to synch in L'heure Brillante today. This fragrance reminds me of London summers drinking ice cold martinis. Lemon peel, vermouth and gin. This one evokes the colour of neon green,...

Dior Homme for me today, possibly a bit too much and since is one of my favourite scents to wear when I'm on the whisky I'm going to let that be enough justification for a synch.

    Re: Who really likes Mitsouko?

That would be me. Vintage and modern work for me. No bitterness here just warm, smooth and mossy.

    Re: Les Exclusifs Concentrations

Kotori the EdT performance can vary a lot but I've not had an issue with Cuir de Russie. I see you are in the States, I've had very good experiences in the Chanel boutiques there, perhaps you could...

    SOTD: Sunday, 8th November, 2015

    Hello everyone.,

So lovely to see some absent friends coming back for a bit of a natter and also all the new regular posters. I picked up a small bottle of vintage Samsara EdP recently (teardrop!)...

    Re: Let's talk about Chypre

31 Rue Cambon is considered a pink or new chypre that isn't fruity. For me, the term chypre only ever applies to stuff that has all the lovely moss. Patch is not moss *grumpy face*.

    Re: Fall-Winter Suggestions

Samsara is a lovely suggestion, it may need a lighter hand in application . Maybe Iris Poudre? Coco could work well too.

    Figuring out scent profile?

I see you have a liking for dark rose. My suggestion are Rose de Nuit and for something that pays homage to L'heure Bleu and composed by a great nose, Insolence (I like the EdP over the EdT).
