I think M7 Fresh has the best ratio currently.
  9. Re: Which scent has the highest positive:negative review ratio?

There are many colognes with 0 negative reviews, but a 27:0 ratio is the same as 1:0 ratio. That's why I think it's important to add +1 to the negative. Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme has a 27:1...
  10. Which scent has the highest positive:negative review ratio?

I guess we have to add +1 to the negative review so we aren't dividing by zero.

New Eau de toilette Review Day or NERD

Sorry. It was unfair to adopt SSD and run with it. That was somebody else's brainchild. So I came up with my own day, NERD(New Eau de toilette Review Day). This is a day to review new scents from the...

As of now, it has 2 neutral ratings. Hardly horrible. I will wear it on Halloween and if it sucks, it will get the thumbs down. Don't you think that is fair?
  22. Re: Does King signal the beginning of a new era in men's cologne?

I'm hoping the industry will start putting out colognes with more longevity. To me, that's where the value is at. King is just the first I've seen to actually put 15 hours on the box.

    Re: Scent Synch Day-Halloween-King

I think the SSD concept is great. It gives us all a chance to review a cologne on the same day. If it sucks, there will be more negative reviews than positive and vice versa.

  28. Does King signal the beginning of a new era in men's cologne?

This is the first time I've seen a cologne advertised for it's longevity. Right out of the blocks, they're advertising 15 hours. To me that is significant.

    Re: SotW October 11th-17th, 2008

I'm glad you cover the new scents. Guerlain Homme seems promising since the sweetness is based on the mojito, about the only sweet drink I can stand.
  31. Re: Which scent gives you the best longevity per dollar?

    So far...

    1. Paco Rabanne PH (12 hours-15 bucks) per everso
    2. John Varvatos (18 hours-40 bucks) per DadaSiegt
    3. Le Male (12 hours-50 bucks) per 40ish
  32. Re: Which scent gives you the best longevity per dollar?

How many hours are we talking?
  33. Re: Which scent gives you the best longevity per dollar?

    Hey, I like your nerdiness.
  34. Re: Which scent gives you the best longevity per dollar?

The 14.4 is proportional if the bottles, the atomizers and the applications are the same. Paco Rabanne would be 48 if it cost $15 and lasted 12 hours. I think you get the spirit of it.
  35. Re: Which scent gives you the best longevity per dollar?
