    I disagree. I think you are focussing too much on the citrusy opening. The equally good (if not better) woody-floral drydown lasts about 3 hours for me and that’s enough to enjoy a superb fragrance.

    Unfortunately opening notes are great precisely because they are volatile, they attack the smell receptors and quickly run out of energy. So the smell cannot be replicated in the drydown.
