I'd work at the stuff on the top with a pair of needle nose pliers, see how much of it you can rip off.
Once it's open you should be able to use a pipette to transfer the juice to a new atomizer...
If I recycle a shirt for another day of wearing (if I'm traveling and packed light, or just feeling lazy) I try to wear the same fragrance as I did the day before.
Otherwise I generally don't wear...
Nautica Voyage for play
Kenzo Homme for work
Also possibly worth checking out would be Perry Ellis 360 Red for Men.
Nice collection, off to a good start.
Kind of hard to rank them in order per say, but here's my opinion.
Dior Homme Intense - Fall and winter.
Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin - Fall and winter,...
Hard to compare it to anything, most 80s powerhouses (excepting Joop! homme) aren't sweet, Lapidus pour Homme is unique in that regard.
The green accords in it kind of reminded me a bit of Dior...
I own an old A&F jacket I got from a second hand store, otherwise nope.
It's not androgynous and immaculately clean, like all modern men's designers.
But it's also not a gross smelling mess, like some supposed "macho" fragrances.
It really scratches a very specific...
Own it, love it.
Easily the best Chanel still in production.
This is not exclusive to fragrancex.
You'll be hard pressed to find an online retailer that keeps up to date pictures of every single fragrance in their catalog.
Bijan Nude for Men
Yeah, maybe... Or maybe some people are grossly exaggerating/fabricating how "ubiquitous" Aventus has become. :rolleyesold:
I've been to auto shows and auctions, SCCA/SVRA/VSCDA dinners, wine...
I guess if I were to characterize it, I would say it's fairly refined, but also more manly than the usual fare.
Stuff like Dior Homme, Allure Homme, La Nuit de l'Homme, etc give the image of a...
I'm not sure what you mean by mainstream enough to be in "heavy use"; your odds of meeting another guy that wears Aventus is staggeringly, astronomically low.
Granted I live in a somewhat...
The most expensive bottles I own are Musc Ravageur, New Haarlem, and Aventus.
Of the three, honestly... Unless my income situation changes drastically, the only one I'd replace would be Aventus....
Really like this stuff, sad that it's discontinued.
Fortunately I'm stocked up...
Functionally identical to diluting it with water or alcohol, but a whole lot less dicking around.
OP is 15 years old and new to fragrance, the advice he was looking for probably...
Why dilute it?
$35 for 100ml isn't exactly pricey.
Prettymuch anything from bottom tier designers...
Guess, American Eagle, Hollister, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Avon, mall company scents like Rue 21 or Affliction.
To me Burberry London smelled amazing,...
I've yet to smell a cumin-heavy fragrance that didn't remind me of either BO or taco meat.
I don't think that meets his "very long lasting" criteria.
I absolutely love the seaweed in the Bvlgari Aqva line, so Sel Marin has been on my radar.
How do they compare?
Definitely Nautica Voyage.
Very cheap, lasts long and projects well, and girls your age will love it.
If you like suntan lotion, you'll probably like VIW.
Man, it's so hard to choose...
Lately I find myself most drawn to Bogart pour Homme and Nautica Voyage.
Are you aware there is a summer flanker called Aqua Fahrenheit?
In an abstract way maybe Le Male or Versace Eros.
It's a pretty unique smell.
Bogart pour Homme
Hanae Mori HM
Not a clue.
Here's a thread about it, though.
Voyage smells somewhat fruity with a very clean (without being soapy), soft, fresh overtone. Hard to explain.
Chrome Legend definitely isn't smoky... You might be smelling the white musk, there's...
Love the original.
But Absolutey Gold, Intense, and 1 Million $ all seem to smell prettymuch identical.
This however looks like it might actually be a substantial departure, possibly a warm...
Own and love both of them, longevity is about the same, Chrome Legend projects more, Nautica Voyage gets more compliments.
Like L'Homme Blanc Individuel said, just get them both.
I have a bottle from December 2013 and it's hard to imagine this stuff being any more potent than it already is.
I feel like it was very close to being a great scent... I love the sparkly aldehyde and citrus notes.
But in the end it's diluted by something that can only be described as pure boringness.
It just occurred to me I messed up and said "Bogart Homme" rather than "Bogart pour Homme".
Every time I spray this stuff on, I cannot believe how little I paid for it.
It's probably the only tonka based fragrance that hasn't made my head hit my desk out of involuntary slumber.
Tie between A*Men and Pure Malt.
Haven't smelled Pure Coffee, Mugler Cologne, or any of the summer flankers.
Everything else I've smelled from their line has been good to decent, except A*Men...
Anyone have this stuff?
How's the scent, the longevity/projection?
Comparable to any other bottles?
I liked it, though not something I'd wear at this point in my life. It's pretty mature.
Smells like leather and powdery shaving soap, with a hint of motor oil.
Is it worth it? To me the pricing...
I've been thinking about getting a bottle of COTY Gravity specifically for this reason.
It's been... 10 years, damn. I feel old.
There's actually some fairly interesting neuroscience behind why...
That's highly subjective.
Weather that's a fake or legitimate tester bottle, that's a shitty deal.
$50 plus shipping for 1.7oz when you could get a brand new 3.4oz bottle for $90?
Makes sense, I've heard people with autism tend to be overly sensitive about personal space.
I bet you're really fun at parties.
Send it to me.
I've been thinking about getting some.
How does it smell? Is it too rumy?
Think it is something you'd wear in the summer?
Try Knize Forest.
To date I've never smelled anything even slightly close to it.
Great longevity and projection, reasonably priced, this is one of my favorites for warm weather.
Why did you delete SportsFan's initial post...? It was not hot-headed.
If you want to check out something that's totally under the radar...
Victorinox Swiss Unlimited - Imagine Mont Blanc Individuel with a very green and slightly minty twist. This stuff smells really...
Should be pretty easy to find a tester, I think it's something most department stores would have.
Curve Crush has surprisingly good longevity for how ridiculously cheap it is, 2.5oz for under $20 on Fragrancenet.
It's far from being a nuclear bomb, but has an OK cloud for the first few hours.
Some say Curve Crush has a very peary smell, and pear is actually listed in the note breakdown on some sites.
Somebody on here told me D&G Light Blue for women smells a lot like pears.
Nothing wrong with wearing a scent you like the smell of, I do it all the time.
I just notice a lot of people around here very invested in this bullshit Too Cool For The Room facade where they are...
You won't make many friends around this forum, saying that.
A lot of people here convinced they wear fragrances "for themselves".
I thought AdG was decent, but the staying power was so-so, even with Essenza.
Supposedly 360 Red is more potent slightly spicier version, hence my interest.
I was considering Declaration for a while, but decided against it because it seemed bit too mature for my tastes.
Are they remotely youthful in your opinion?
In some cases a little dirt under your fingernails and sweat on your browline can be attractive in a way. Certain guys can really pull off the ruggedly handsome look, think Indiana Jones, athletes,...
Warm weather is on the horizon!
Can you guys hit me with your recommendations, in this department?
I already own:
Hanae Mori HM
I've been curious to sniff Aomassai for a while now, a rough woody gourmand sounds very interesting.
It's hard to imagine anyone would bother faking this stuff.
It was never a popular best selling release, and even now with the moderate amount of hype surrounding it it's easily available brand new...
Possibly also give Bogart One Man Show and Lapidus pour Homme a look. :)
Both are cheapies in the $20 range.
No, not at all. I don't really believe in hating on fragrances.
I didn't think it smelled bad, just didn't really find it that interesting, and was curious what some people seem to see in it.
I've sampled this one once or twice (from magazines), and my impression was that it's basically the original with some tonka thrown in.
And yet, this has rave reviews and a...
People say 24 Gold smells like raspberry jam, and while that's not exactly what I get from it, I do like it a lot.
I'd say go for it.
"Synthetic" or not, it's a very bold, interesting fragrance, that will definitely make you stand out.
Bottle looks awesome and it's pretty cheaply priced.
Bogart is a great...
You could probably get away with it on a cooler summer evening, 1 or maybe even 2 sprays.
Question is, why would you want to?
Better options out there for hot weather, really.
I think I'm going to keep Silver Scent and regift SSI just because I like SS's bottle more, haha.
No thoughts on Fierce?
Seriously, is there any difference between these two?
I've been smelling them side by side for over a month now and I swear both the opening and the drydown are indistinguishable.
Both have the...
People here love Aventus?
I must be reading the wrong threads.
Chances are good that their dads wore Old Spice, there are probably Freudian forces at work here.
Also, the first time my dad smelled 24 Gold, he said it was "girly". :lolk:
I'll go ahead and be 'that guy'.
I was surprised by how much people really do like Aventus.
I get compliments here and there with A*Men, 1 Million, and other bottles in my collection. But man,...
What do you think of A&F Fierce? Tommy Hilfiger Tommy? Curve, Curve Crush? The original Hugo Boss?
As much as I love upscale designer fragrances and even some niche stuff, I have a real soft spot...
Hm, Bvlgari Aqva is unsophisticated?
I must have horrible taste, because I consider Aqva to be one of my "dressier" summer bottles.
It's a way for people to seem cultured and "too cool for the room".
Reminds me of somebody who yells at dinner guests because they're not using the right fork for their salad.
To the OP: most...
I have this juice too, my conclusion is that it smells identical to the original, but has reasonably more potent performance.
Depends how much you like the smell of Fierce.
None of it's peers...
At least in the case of Curve, it's mere pennies down the tube.
I blind bought Curve Crush, and I must say I'm very happy with the decision. Smells great.
I was thinking about getting the...
Lol... But what about CURVE BLACK, guys?
Anyone have anything else to add about this stuff? I can't find a single review anywhere online...
How is sillage and longevity?
Would you wear it in warm weather?
Hanae Mori HM.
I have the EDP, and the lemon in this lasts FOREVER.
Not sure how the EDT performs by comparison.
The more I smell this, the more it strikes me as a piney/minty version of Mont Blanc Individuel.
I'm surprised there is zero hype for this one, it even has several negative reviews on basenotes.
This is so fresh and green, I really like it so far.
I will second Aventus.
Also, Dior Homme Intense
All have great longevity.
Even stronger than the original Pleasures?
Also why was your wife wearing a men's scent? I'm confused. heh
If he wants cheap and oldschool, there are some offerings from Bogart he'd probably like.
One Man Show and the original Bogart are surefire winners.
Both are only about $20 a bottle.
It still has pretty good longevity and sillage, doesn't seem to be the ultra mega powerhouse everyone is raving about though.
I think the scent is nice, smells very 80s.
Anyone familiar with this stuff? What can you say about it?
I was already interested in the original Pleasures because I'm always on the hunt for summer scents with high power longevity and...
Not on your list, but I really think you should check out Bogart One Man Show.
A*Men, New Haarlem, and Antaeus are my usual go-to's.
Just got 24 Gold, and haven't worn it much, but can already tell it's too is very well suited to extremely cold weather.
So having spent a little time with this stuff now, I will say that it does smell exactly like the original but with improved sillage and longevity.
Still, it's hard to justify the premium pricing on...
I don't get a detergent vibe at all, it smells a tiny bit like laundry softner, but people are really overstating the similarity.
Individuel is a very safe blind buy, not pricey and I don't think anyone who smells it on you could possibly dislike the stuff. You'll love it.
Only real downside is that it's not exactly a...
Just in case any of you still cared, I got it, and I really like it.
Impressive sillage and longevity, just wish that raspberry opening stuck around a bit longer!
Anything else from this line...
