The One Parfum
I personally lean designer. I have plenty of niche as well, but like the "mainstream" or "safe" ones like Scent Of Peace, Cedrat Boise, ect.;)
I've had my bottle of AHS for at least 4yrs now and no signs of slowing down on the longevity and projection front. Easily lasts all day on me with 2-3 sprays
I own both and they are very different....actually like Intense slightly more than Gold, but really depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
Intense has a thick/syrupy dark fruity thing going on that...
Pure Coffee with ToF a close 2nd
MB Legend Intense
The only scent that has ever made me physically ill.(one spray at that!) Needless to say, I wasn't a fan of this overbearing and in your face projection beast.
Thanks for your take! Excited to see if this one shows up in The States for a reasonable price:beer:
Dior Homme Eau
Yup remik, that's the one I was thinking of!!!! So just a novelty bottle then.
When I had By Night, it's fill level was probably about halfway between the top and your level. It was definitely on the lower side of most bottle fill levels,(except for La Yuqawam!lol)but nowhere...
That is big....but I thought I saw a pic of a Shalimar bottle that is monstrous!
When I think "dirt cheap", I think under $20 for a 100ml....and there are quite few actually. Most recently, I picked up Benetton Let's Fly for under $14(along the same lines as Chanel AHS) and...
I prefer Cuba Gold slightly more. PE White is good also,(and arguably the better quality frag)but it's more powdery and vanillic then the Cuba offering.
Yeah, my exact thinking as well....bag and everything else look spot on to mine. But that sticker is just so bizarre!
3 was just fine, if I was indoors.....4 if I was outside on a cool fall day/evening:smiley:
1-Pineapple by Demeter Fragrance Library mixed with Al Haramain L'Aventure 8 wears
2-Empire by Trump by Donald Trump 7 wears
3-CH Men Privé by Carolina Herrera and John Varvatos STAR...
Humiecki & Graef Eau Radieuse has a strong mentholated vibe to my nose
The One EDP
The One EDP. The One original was my all time favorite scent, but this one is just a touch richer smelling....an absolute love for me.
I haven't dated my 50ml bottle yet, but 3 sprays lasts be all day. I don't know that projection is great after the first couple hours though.
Benetton Let's Fly
P.E. Aqua Intense
Code summer 2010
+ for Dylan Blue.
A better and more balanced/sweeter/youthful scent that has pretty strong similarities to Sauvage
Bleu de Chanel
I had Summer 2014 and yes it is close, but I prefer St Bart's personally.....better smell and slightly better longevity.
And FWIW neither one resembles VIW...VIW is a sweet, pina colada/rum...
Club de Nuit Intense and Demeter Pineapple
Definitely PH for me!
But Eau Fraiche, Eros, Versace Man and Dylan Blue are all good and above average for me. Blue Jeans was a good cheapie too. The only one I didn't care for was The Dreamer,...
Haven't tried them, but I've heard great things about Lili Bermuda South Water....I can't imagine it being more feminine than the Creed, but can't say for sure.
Was going to mention, DUA...
The One EDT
Both myself and those around me preferred Black. DB had a bitter "coffee breath" like note that got on my nerves. Black also had better longevity then DB and would last me all day.(albeit with...
Cerruti 1881 sport
Victoire Intense is a better version(IMHO)of Invictus. Lomani makes terrific juice for the price I've found, with owned quite a few over the years:)
Demeter Pineapple mixed with Al Haramain L'Aventure....terrific combo!
It seems that I do recall hearing that they did indeed go out of business. But......I thought it was quite a bit before your bottle was made chuso?! The mystery continues............
Fahrenheit for sure
Lisa Kirk Revolution
Forgot to add Dirty English too....well, maybe for "bad boy" then "don't mess with me";)
Demeter Pineapple and Trump Empire....both are great for me and very happy with these blind buy cheapies!
Demeter Pineapple wowed me recently for a cheapie. Extremely well done and good smelling IMO. Can't say it smells exactly like a fresh cut pineapple....more like a candied and juicy one. But still,...
Cerruti 1881 Sport
CH Men Prive
LOL! Oddly, I can kind of relate:beer:
Mancera Cedrat Boise
Armaf Tres Nuit.....just trust me, you won't regret it if you love CW
Usually put them in a lot of Ebay.(which reminds me, I REALLY need to do this!)
I agree Silentrich, it was surprisingly good scent to my nose and will pick it up once my decants out and the price drops.
Here's my take, if anyone cares.....
Finally got cool enough...
Bond Scent Of Peace
Sounds terrific, thanks for sharing Anton....I'll be on the look out for this to make it's way here to The States!
2013 Dior Cologne and Armani Code Sport Athlete are two of my top favorites. Versace Eau Fraiche works well in very hot weather also.
Popeye Eau Fraiche-11
Versace Dylan Blue-8
Al Haramain L'Aventure-5
Invictus Aqua- 4
Al Haramain Dazzle Intense-3
Pretty safe blind buy IMO....slightly sweet, slightly spicy and slightly powdery;)
The One Parfum
CH Men(Prive too!)
Allure Homme Sport
+1. It's a somewhat polarizing scent....I blind bought myself and tried to like it, but sent it packing after a year or so. The drydown was actually ok, but the harsh opening took a long time to wear...
+1 for Dior 2013 Cologne
Also Armani Code Sport Athlete is the only other scent(besides a very pricey niche offering;)that has given me this feeling.
CH Men Prive and Code Sport Athlete
I like it more than Aventus, but still not a love for me yet. Smells nothing like it either to my nose, expect for the very brief first spray opening and then quickly morphs into something much...
Jay Z Gold
I'm also a HUGE fan of the original Armani Attitude and was sad it was discontinued so quickly!:( Unfortunately, I haven't smelt anything that comes super close to this beautiful juice. I have owned...
Yeah, this was thinking as well. When I first started collecting I kept them in the bottom of my fridge, but that only lasted a week or so before I just moved them to a dark room in an extra dresser....
Armani Code Sport Athlete
+1 for MiP(first one that popped into my head) and Ultra Zest
Armani Sport Code Athlete skyrocketed for awhile a couple of years ago since it was a 2012 limited release, but recently have been...
Versace Eau Fraiche
When I was a fragrance noob in 2010, I went into my local Macy's and bought Light Blue because it was my GF's favorite scent as a birthday present.....ended up buying the pour homme version by...
Oh man, that's not what I wanted to hear!!!lol But thanks for your honesty brother:beer:
FWIW-today is my first full wearing of Al Haramain L'Aventure....I like this scent a lot more than CdNI....
Al Haramain L'Aventure
Just bought a bottle of this after watching some dudes youtube vid about mixing this with Club de Nuit Intense. Plus I trust Cologneist's nose over the years talking/swapping with him. I don't like...
I Love NY For All is my all time favorite gourmand....beast mode longevity and a unique roasted nut smell over chocolate, great juice IMO!
Pure Tonka is nice as well. Definitely get that whole...
Dior Homme Eau and YSL La Nuit are both sweet and spicy, with a nice powdery drydown....plus they both last and project well, without being overbearing:beer:
Oh yeah....Code Profumo is a great one...
Great scent! I didn't think it lasted all that long on me personally, so got a 200ml bottle.lol But I did get a compliment this weekend while getting a hug. This was after wearing it in low 90's heat...
Bleu de Chanel.....GF REALLY likes it, so I keep my bottle around still. It's grown on me slightly, but still not a fan.
Dior Homme Eau
Gucci Made To Measure for sure!
I got a sample from a fellow member and ended up buying a bottle. Was on the verge many times of a blind buy myself, and the way people describe it is pretty much right on. Opens with a brief blast...
Absolutely agree! Dior Eau is a terrific, super versatile, long lasting(without being in your face strong)and highly complimented scent....definitely the overlooked gem of the Dior house IMO.
And zero sprays for church Chuck?;)
L-12 White is a great and(IMO)very underrated frag. It's also pretty unique to my nose in the way the florals and citrus are done.
Only frag that I find elements of L-12 White in, is Tommy Bahama...
Didn't like Sauvage at all. Nice opening, but quickly burned off and became this too strong, overly synthetic ambroxan-pepper overload.
BUT I just recently got a decant of Dylan Blue and today is...
Versace Dylan Blue.(still not in the database...along with a bunch of other mainstream releases of late:angry: )
Eternity Aqua....nice lower cost alternative to Polo Blue!
Not at all IMHO. Granted I only had a sample of Polo Red,(own PR Intense though)but from my memory they are nothing alike. Both are slightly gourmand smelling, but that's where it ends. Dazzle...
I only just recently tried PE White after all these years.(no idea what took me so long?!lol) But it's a very nicely done mint/lavender frag, with a little bit of powderiness in the drydown. Great...
Just got my bottle of this last night. Initial thoughts are that I like the opening MUCH more than that of Club DeNuit Intense which I find harsh and off-putting. Will do a full wearing tomorrow and...
La Nuit Frozen
I've owned all of these actually....and truth be told, they are all quite good and worth their price. For me it just kind of depends on what you like and/or situation you'll be wearing them to try...
+1 for VPH. Fantastic scent that lasts all day on me and a no brainer to have in your collection for the low $'s this goes for IMHO.
