    Re: Collecting vs downsizing

I have 3 colognes in my rotation, and have a lot of samples that I use if I want to change things up. I only buy a full bottle if I am absolutely in love with it. I am more of a serial sampler. ...

Among the things I don't want to smell at the gym, panting and gasping for air, are somebody else's Brut and cooked food. Much prefer sweat and maybe some wintergreen. I even avoid using anything...

  7. Re: UNBELIEVABLE! Refused service at Luxury Perfumes!!!

  8. Re: Any one know anything about this fragrance????

I tested this once in a dept store, and wrote a note to myself that it was "typical dept store cologne, unremarkable." That's all I have, sorry.

Do not buy her anything. Instead, as your gift, take her on a shopping trip to sample perfumes and buy her something you both like. Sample, lunch, sample, buy. It will be a fun date and she'll...

Re: Sonoma Scent Studio TABAC AUREA Mini Review

I find the SSS Tabac vaguely musky and sour, which happens on my skin with many tobacco fragrances. Might have considered it as a niche fragrance, but my wife hated it.

Re: Tim McGraw Southern Blend Vs. Michael for Men

Re: Out of these frags what should i buy?

I would probably go with Pure Malt, Blvgari Black, and D&G The One, mainly because they are popular and you could probably sell them if you didn't like them. You could probably get 1.5 ml spray...

    Cool Water
    Tobacco Vanille

Guerlain Tonka Imperiale. Raw Vanilla is decent on the cheap. Personally, think A*Men and especially Bvlgari Black have less pronounced vanilla notes than Le Male.

Re: I need a relaxing fragrance, help basenotes

Using cologne to relax, interesting concept, never really considered it. I generally use fragrances of Cabernet or Tanqueray Ten, but my first thought in cologne was Burberry London.
