My SOTD too
Went to the barber for a haircut today, decided to finish it off with a couple sprays of Rive Gauche PH. Feelin tidy!
I live in Canada too, here's my experience. I once bought a bottle of Gendarme EDP from them that wound up leaking from the spray nozzle when used. I emailed them and they gave me full credit and...
Was/is there ever any way to get this in Canada? I seem to recall TM website won't ship to Canada and I know I'm missing out on this. Getting it online is pretty much my only option at this point.
This has my vote.
I'd buy two bottles also.
Looking at the two pics above, the bottle says "Toliet Water" and the box says "Toilet Water".
That's exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote the original post, it's the pepper. Much perfer TdH use of the peppery-ness. Such a winner this one!
Yeah I'm not much of a gambler actually. I prefer to order samples and lose a few bucks to a bad order than the cost of a whole bottle. I'm not rich enough to be able to not care. In this case I...
That's it! That's the descriptor I couldn't find, definately earthy. One hell of a product! I suspect this is going to be one of the few that make it on my "replace empty bottle" list.
Mail came yesterday with my 50ml Terre d'Hermes EDT and I can't believe how awesome this fragrance is, I tested it that day and I love the whole thing, first spray to dying vapors. Very comfortable...
Yeah this does happen to me from time to time.
Is there a way to get this online in Canada? My problem is I live on Vancouver Island and not anywhere near anywhere that would sell this product. I dont think TM online botique will ship to Canada,...
My Gendarme G leaks down the front of the bottle from the sprayer when you spritz it. Bit frustrating.

EXACT same thing happened. I blind bought Eau Sauvage, disliked it immediately. About a year went by and I never tossed it so I tried it again and I couldn't help but wear the stuff 4 days in a row....
Came in the mail today. Not a blind buy, had a sample at one time. Meant to purchase a...
Yeah this is an excellent one hey? Was a blind buy for me and love it.
My experience is once the parcel's left their warehouse there's no problem. Where the problem lies is the time between placing the order and them sending it out.
I.E. I placed an order Jan. 23,...
Haha Fragrancenet lists longevity as 1-5 hours. Ouch...
Yeah RG is pretty awesome, isn't it?
Diesel: Fuel for Life
SOTE: Dior Eau Sauvage
Blind bought it, liked it! Was worth my money so knowing it's going to be gone again soon, I ordered a 2nd bottle and that'll be fine for me.

I think similar to this too. Maybe people (strangers anyhow) might feel like they're overstepping a social boundry - compliments from a man to a man is obvious and compliments from a woman to a man...
Funny, when I had my sample I decided I wanted to get the splash bottle. I immediately just wanted to splash it onto my hands and mess it through my hair like an old-timey tonic or something.
Had samples from C&S on both and I loved No. 88. Will be getting a full bottle on this. Though I know it's a "rose" scent I don't get that scent in it. The smell of a lot of flowers including rose...
SOTE: First wearing of A*Men Pure Malt.
Same here. If I apply it this afternoon I'll smell it on me tomorrow morning. Rare occasion for me, most scents bail on me at around the 5 hour mark.
Totally agree. Blind bought this due to the overwhelming thumbs up. I sprayed it and I felt like I was dying inside. It made me wish I'd never been born.
I can't blame you really. It's pretty awesome.
Feel like wearing something heavy today and this is going to be the one.
I still haven't tried Absolute. I remember when it was a huge rage here like pure malt was then any talk about it disappeared. Anyhow, I want to try this and Absolute still :)
Burberry London for Men
I agree with this too. I blind bought Dior Eau Sauvage and when I tried it I thought "Wow this is truly bad." I considered tossing it but never got around to it. I found it behind my bottles last...
Guerlain Homme EDT
+1 Rochas Man. It's awesome.
I also have 1 Million, Pure Malt, Le Male and the two Armani's. I'm very much interested in trying Allure Homme too.
I've never smelled Dreamer but read since I enjoy Le Male I'd probably like it....
This is the argument from authority - ultimately it's just the opinion of one person, and it's no more valid than anyone else's here. I think it all comes down to personal statisfaction of money...
Burberry Touch for Men
Haven't really given this one a go yet.
Gucci Envy 3.4oz

I'd heard Envy's been discontinued, don't know if it's true but I've been meaning to buy it for some time now and kept putting it off so I decided this would be a...

Same. When I was a young kid and my dad taught me to shave (didn't have any hair, was just mimicking his actions) and we'd put on Old Spice or whatever else he had, that was what got me started into...

I have both Prada Amber PH and Gendarme G [Gendarme in edp strength] and did own Mugler cologne. Mugler cologne did not smell clean or soapy to me at all, not in the sense that Prada ApH and Gendarme...
First thing that jumped into my head.

I recently blind bought a bottle and I enjoy it. Glad I got it, but it isn't any better than most fragrances I've ever smelled... overhyped.
Especially the last part
SOTE: Gendarme G EDP
You'd wind up with a different fragrance everytime you took the test!
Same, generally steer clear of wrists and hands [unless testing] due to washing.
Sean John: Unforgivable
Yeah, the medicine smell is there, but it's not in a bad way. Kind of like how Jägermeister smells like medicine but in an attractive sort of way. If that makes any sense at all...
And it does...
Really? Sounds interesting, how is it?
I just bought Gendarme G [edp] and test sprayed it on my forearm yesterday, one spritz. Lasted all afternoon, night, through the sleep, this morning, work, back home and though I have to put my nose...
I think I'll join you on that.
SOTD: YSL Rive Gauche PH
Rochas Man + Burberry London for Men = Pure Malt
Did I pass the quizz?
I actually wound up blind buying MI and I havent touched Unforgivable since. I totally understand what the folks mean when they're saying there's "similarities" but the two really are worlds apart.
I had someone give me the remainder of their bottle of Romance for Men and though I'd try Silver before ever buying this again, 20 dollars is worth it! I felt it was pleasant enough to finish off the...
I did shake it up, left it and it's re-integrated save for a small bit. I'm sure it'll be fine after another good shake.
Rive Gauche PH. Of all the fragrances I WISH there were intense versions of, this is not one of them.
RG is excellent!
A&F: Fierce for Men
Recent purchase, would like to add it to the wardrobe!
Hi everyone, I just noticed that my bottle of Gendarme G (an EDP) has translucent oil floating around inside it, seperated from the rest of the liquid. I've never seen this in perfumes before but I...

I hope we see some answers here, I'm super interested on this too... looking at the "post pictures of your scents" there's some incredibly big collections.
Should tally the replies up and see how...
This is one of the few that work well on me. If I apply mid day, by next morning I can sort of "move backwards" while sniffing and still detect it slightly. Amazed me since this generally never...
