An amazing collection Viffer. Can I ask what display stands you use?
Polo Double Black > Polo Crest > Polo Modern Reserve
Was a bit of a disappointment for me. Order of rank flankers
Pure Havane > Pure Malt > Pure Coffee > Pure Leather > Le Goût du Parfum > Pure Wood > Ice*Men > Pure Energy
As you can see it's a...

You can't go wrong with Poison or Chanel No.5. Guerlain Parfum Initial is also a good release :)
24 Original, 24 Gold, MIP, One Man Show (Gold Edition) & Givenchy Very Irresistible
Current Top Favorites:
1) DAVIDOFF Silver Shadow Private Blend
2) BOND No.9 New York Oud
3) LUBIN Idole de Lubin (eau de parfum)
4) MONT BLANC Legend Intense
5) CHARRIOL Eau de Parfum pour...
Raghba For Men :P An even better version of GIT!
Mont Blanc Legend Intense version imo, although Fierce is a very good frag
I would choose the Intense version of Euphoria. It solves the longevity issues that the original had :)
The EDP is definitely worth the extra $ imo. The edt was too harsh, whereas the edp is smoother and more rounded version with better longevity.
Within the cabinet the top shelf is for my favourite fragrances and most of the Niche frags. The further down the shelving the less I like them, although I try and group frags with flankers (i.e....
It's bowing a lil' bit but hasn't gone in over a year ;)
I've owned both MI and Unforgivable. They are almost the same and the extra for MI, it isn't really worth it imo.
I'm nearing the end of Gucci Envy. Unfortunately long discontinued and hard to...
I own both the mentalist fragrances and they are indeed the same :( They aren't as good as 24 Gold, 24 Original or 24 Platinum but are still decent :)
- - - I've only tried these...
Hanae Mori HiM & Prada Amber Intense are great imo. Never tried Gucci PH II
Kalemat, Kalemat Black & Woody are must tries from Arabian Oud.
Raghba (unisex), Ameer Al Oudh & Al Fursan are great from the house of Lattafa.
Yardley's Citrus & Wood is indeed very similar to Terre D'Hermes EDT, with the edp being slightly better and less harsh with the orange imo. Lomani Silver Spirit is very similar to Aventus. I have...
This has sold for silly money in the past. May get a few back-up bottles this time just incase it gets discontinued for good
I have the version in the red box. A very nice scent
It's only the longevity of the original that lets it down. The intense version corrects this and is a very pleasant scent :)
I have a couple of bottles of the edt and love it. Does anyone suggest I blind-buy the edp version?
Yardley's Citrus & Wood is a definite copy
- - - - - - BIG BOTTLE SALE: - - - - - -
Only selling as either they are back-up bottles or ones I no longer really use. Come boxed/unboxed as in picture:
Scent first and foremost but longevity and projection are also important. I have mini sprays for all my frags though that I keep on my person to top up throughout the day :)
I'm at over 350 full sized bottles and can't see myself stopping. It's hard to stop as there's so many past-releases I'm yet to try as well as the new releases :)
I haven't tried either but I do have the original Woody which is very nice and long-lasting. Also, Kalemat, Kalemat Black & Oud El Khaleej are all amazing fragrances from Arabian Oud.
Out of those two I would say Bleu de Chanel, although you should check out YSL Parfum Intense as it's better than the original
There are quite a few Tuscan Leather clones (Monotheme Leather, Golden Boy, La Yuqawam) which are all cheaper and are very good for their prices. I have Colonia Purissima which is a fresh, bright...
Woman normally like the mass-produced colognes such as 1 Million, Invictus, Joop etc. Whenever I wear an Amouage, Bond No.9, or any very strong oud fragrance the other sex's response does not seem to...
Azzaro PH, Aramis PH, Bvlgari Black, Zino, Eau Sauvage. Always thought they were a bit too 'old-mannish' 10 years ago but now I feel more confident now I am older :)
Scentstory - 24 Gold
YSL L'Homme Parfum Intense
Pure Malt & Havane are amazing, definitely the best in the line
Au Masculin out of these two, although FFL Spirit is pretty good
Hmmm, this frag is normally has quite good longevity. Mind you, I've experienced poor longevity with some scents that are supposed to be beasts
10 La Roue de La Fortune & 6 L'Amoureux are the best offerings from the line, the rest were just meh.
+1 for One Man Show Gold edition. Not the best smelling frag but the most beastly in terms of projection I've ever come across
A great fragrance. Antidote is also very good from V&R
Maybe the worst A*Men flanker after Pure Shot although none of them are terrible. Imo Pure Malt & Pure Havane are the best offerings :)
This is one of the better Creeds for longevity & projection :S
Oily rather than dry skin tends to hold the fragrance better. Try to use Vaseline/Baby Oil or preferably an unscented Aftershave balm before applying the scent to your skin to prolong longevity :)
Bond No.9 New York Oud
Gucci Envy hands down!
Although I like and own both, spicebomb gets the slight edge from me
I don't like Dior Homme (vintage or current) but Valentino Uomo is indeed a better take on DH, done much better imo :)
Here's an updated version of my collection at the moment. About 330 fragrances in total
I'll second Ameer Al Oudh by Lattafa & Rasikh. Own both and are very nice and smell more expensive than they are :)
Smells exactly like a coffee shop :)
This was my post last year:
Some good finds from Al-Rehab. Add to this Choco Musk as it is a very...
My top two are Tom Ford Grey Vetiver & Dior: La Collection Vetiver :)
Thanks, will prob take the plunge on the EDP :)
This is a question about a women's fragrance, but from a man's perspective. I tried YSL Cinema edt and thought it was great. I want to purchase it but don't know if I can pull it off. Alexander...
I too am getting into Middle Eastern fragrances in a big way. These are a few that I have tried that are worth a mention:
Kalemat by Arabian Oud
Raghba For Man by Lattafa
La Yuqawam pour Homme...
Some vintage Gucci PH1 please :)
I started off about 10 years ago, and I'd buy a bottle maybe every two weeks, now it's becoming at least a few bottles every week. I have a cabinet that houses about 200 frags, now they're on top of...
I believe anything over 5ml should be counted in your wardrobe as there are a lot of 10ml travel sprays and you do actually own the juice so it should be counted. Even with decants that aren't in...
Cuba, 88, O&C and Frankincense & Myrrh are all good offerings from this house and bottle-worthy :)
Fahrenheit wins hands down :P
Montale Black Aoud for me please :)
Essence Musk is great. Still need to try Leather Essence, Essence Oud and now Cedar Essence
A few squirts on the chest under a shirt, one on either side of the neck and one on the wrists
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme although Versace is a close second
I own both By Man & Very Valentino and they are both very good fragrances in their own right. Recently bought another bottle of VV as it really is that good :)
+1 for these few:
Lanvin Avant Garde
A better quality version of Joop Homme! imo
Can't believe how much hate some fragrances are getting. Aventus, Tuscan Leather, 24 Gold!!!!! Each to their own I guess :P Anyway I'll extend this to 10:
Tommy Hilfiger Hilfiger Athletics
Eau Sauvage Extreme
I never bother making resolutions to do with fragrances any more as I know I'd break them. I have bought 11 bottles so far in January as collecting is so addictive :)
I love both. Both are worthy of being in a fragrance collection imo.
Photo is a bit hard to make out but I can see some nice gems in there! :P
Here's an current version of my wardrobe. I've added a few Niche & designer frags in the last year and banished some to the box under the bed :P
Here's an current version of my wardrobe. I've added a few Niche & designer frags in the last year and banished some to the box under the bed :P I mainly just want to do decant swaps (I have 3ml...
A*Men: Le Gôut du Parfum please :P
Wow, this blows the price of Clive Christian scents right out of the water! :O
One of the first fragrances I bought. It is a very nice scent but lacking in longevity IMO.
Have only tried and own Ferrari Essence Musk. The longevity and sillage are above average, and although a little synthetic, it is a very nice, clean smelling frag
1) Allure Homme Edition Blanche
2) Allure Homme Sport
3) Dior Homme Sport
Here are pics of my D&G The One. Seems legit to me :)
The 'La Collection Privée Christian Dior' collection was nice so have high hopes for these. +1 for the bottles, they look exquisite :)
I can't vouch for this particular Surrati oil but I have their Tom Oudh & Tobacco Vanille creations and they are both exquisite and very good value for money so I would recommend those. Black Oudh...
Would love to hear more people's thoughts as they test this new creation. I have and love both the original 24, and 24 Gold and are both superb scents so am intrigued to try a creation with the...
Luna Rossa Extreme
Black XS L'Excès
M7 Oud Absolu
Creed Original Vetiver
TF Sahara Noir
It hasn't been an amazing year of releases, although there are a few that deserve a mention:
• Ferrari Essence Musk
• Givenchy Gentlemen Only
• The Game Intense
• Monotheme Black Label Leather...
Very nice fragrance. On my wishlist
I believe it was Old Spice :P
I feel like neither of these deserves a signature scent status as there are far more superior scents out there. But to pick between these two, individual definitely gets the nod.
Bleu is definitely more versatile and superior IMO
I've just looked at the bottle and there isn't a metal bit wedged in the cap :(
I did buy it on eBay and has only been used a few times. The lid doesn't stay on at all as there is no metal tubular...
Just scoured the internet and found a picture of a bottle with the cap off and it is the same as all my other bond bottles. This makes me pretty certain that it's a fake.
With all my other Bond bottles the sprayer parts are all the same apart from my 'I Love NY For All' sprayer as you can see in the pictures. If anybody has a bottle of this I'd appreciate it if they...
