    Re: Benzoin resin

I've seen Indian benzoin powder cake that's made for burning and it's a nice yellow color; I wonder if it has a better scent for burning than the darker which I see is used a lot more for mosquito...

Re: Frankincense in an Electric Burner

I use an Indian bakhoor burner for my resins as well; I put a dimmer switch on mine so control temperature. Have you had an issue with the heating element burning out over time? Also, I am curious...
  3. Re: The Incense Burning topic -- can we muster some activity?

    Re: Benzoin resin

I agree, soma luna has good stuff, their benzoin is good, kinda smells like typical stick incense to me but does go well with frankincense. Conversely, there are some terrible benzoin's lurking...
  8. Re: The Incense Burning topic -- can we muster some activity?

I'd tried incense sticks and essential oil tealight burners but in the end I've got an electric bakhoor burner that I plugged into a dimmer switch and put aluminum foil over it and this seems to be...

Re: Frankincense in an Electric Burner

Just wondering, how has that burner worked out for you?

(Aqua di gio is pretty much my go to fragrance.)
