Lucky Number 6 for Men Liz Claiborne
+ 1 Thank you, Lomaniac! Very well articulated!
Good to know, thanks Russlan.
I know smell is subjective, but is the consensus so far it veers more Platinum Egoiste than Bleu de Chanel?
Thanks for the Shalimar love, in that other thread, freewheelingvagabond ! :)
Shalimar - have about twenty bottles of various vintages and concentrations.
Onda - EDP
Seek and ye shall find - I went looking and here is a very vintage bottle with an oval label.
Found it on O*erst*ck, but doubt the photo is...
I think in the older bottles, round labels were the more "feminine", rectangular more "masculine", though they were all marketed as "gender neutral".
I don't think I've seen Sandalo with a round...
You're welcome. Happy to help, badarun.
The label is the giveaway, square paisley pattern in center = older, feather drawing = newer.
I'm looking forward to your comparison - I have the original formulation and have not smelled the new.
Black at the bottom is the older - it also has Christian Dior instead of just Dior.
Poivre 23, bought it at $440 for 100ml and don't regret it at all. Worth the price. YMMV
^^^^^^^ Thanks, hednic !!
Faces - Stay with Me mentions both perfume and cologne:
In the morning
Don't say you love me
'Cause I'll only kick you out of the door
I know your name is Rita
'Cause your perfume smelling...
SECOND CONSECUTIVE DAY!! LOVE IT!!! Thanks for the message yesterday, hednic! ;)
The collar and cap are tacky/butt ugly. YMMV
I purchased Nicolai scents in the blue-capped bottle in the late 1990s,
I'm pretty sure that is the oldest of the ones pictured.
I'm glad I bought the 250ml bottle when it was readily available. Curious about the cost for that size bottle if they
make the 250ml again. I think I paid $ 480 at Bergdorf Goodman.
What about Fendi Furiosa? It is not on your list.
I have both of those - enjoy your new scents. One I really like, the other started off well, but the relationship became predictable.
Both good scents, I will be curious to see your reviews. Enjoy!
Thanks for these, Oviatt!
Always coveted that Carnet de Bal bottle.
+1 Thank you!
Yes! It is called "layering"!!!! LOL YMMV :)
Yes - he's wearing it to please himself. Narcissistic jacka$$, fits the character perfectly! YMMV LOL :)
Glass, not plastic, could be: Wish Pink Diamond Chopard
Hanae Mori EDT (butterfly)
I once had a job where I worked in close proximity to my supervisor for the first hour after his arrival.
(Long ago, far away, mainframe computer - standing over him while we conferred on code, him...
Your ass smells like Aventus? Sounds about right.................................. ;)
They are ALL fake! Every Creed is a FAKE! Case closed! NEXT! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL ;)
LOL :) Funny! But you're revealing your age! Not that there is anything wrong with that! LOL :)
Again! Because this is a great labdanum-artemisia-pepper scent! Thanks for the thumbs up, hednic!
It is a great scent, I bought a bottle three years ago and had a difficult time locating it then. Good luck.
hednic, I can't tell - are the bottles blue or is it the juice? TIA for your response.
Second consecutive day for White Aoud, a really beautiful scent!! Thanks for the comment yesterday, hednic.
Thanks for posting your pictures Paul P. Very enjoyable to view.
Will you be wearing it? Some men shy away from floral scents,
particularly tuberose - but I wear them all. Enjoy!!

Good work, ajmc !!!! :)
"There's a sucker born every minute" is a phrase most likely spoken by David Hannum, in criticism of both P. T. Barnum, an American showman of the mid 1800s, and his customers. The phrase is often...
S - O - A - P SOAP!!!! The marketing bulls**t when it launched was semen, but that was just to get people talking.
Cedrat = citron, cedre = cedar.
I purchased the non-bust bottle of Chypre Palatin, the busts aren't my thang.
I could live without the tassel on my bottle, but I won't cut it off.
Hoping to conjure warm springtime weather with the Cosmair original formula!!!
Coach Leatherware No 2 is the lightest on my skin, though it has 'dark' aroma of black pepper-leather-musk-and a hint of bitter orange. 4 hours duration for 5 sprays on my forearm. HTH
The marketing who-ha mentions "baseball glove leather" for all three, but the leather accords are different to my nose. YMMV
Bought all 3 blind - No 1 is the winner so far, but all three are nice. If they had marketed them better, I think they would have sold at full price.
