It does make fiction more interesting.
They don't sell Bond at Bloomingdales.
Why can't you just take a compliment for what it is? When you give compliments, do they always have a barb to them?
This is another of my favorites, if not the most. Wonderful scent.
This is one of my favorites of the Bond line.
I have never blended West Side with anything. I have found that many of the "beach" scents go well together. I hear there's a Sag Harbor coming later this year!
These are some of the blends that I have tried that turned out well. I spray them on top of each other or separately:
Coney Island and Wall Street (as you tried)
Brooklyn and Washington Square...
Reminds me of Marc Jacobs, something figgy/coconutty there.
Terry dee her-mees
Green Irish Tweed
Several Bonds layer well together. Washington Square and Cooper Square, New Haarlem and Saks for Him, Coney Island and Wall Street, Wall Street and New Haarlem, I could think of several! I have...
My thoughts EXACTLY!!
One of everything!
Bond No. 9's Washington Square and New York Oud are the only rose scents that I have experience with, and I find them both very well done.
I was told once that the actual wood from Napoleon's ACTUAL throne was used in the making of Aventus.
New: Bond New York Oud
Discovered: Creed Selection Verte
*Angles Singing* YES!!
Overall best crowdpleaser is probably going to be Chez Bond or Saks for Him, IMO.
Have you read some of the above posts? I am not going to single anyone out, it's just my opinion. And I'm not talking about coming to someone's job and expecting them to know what they're talking...
Wow, did it ever cross anyone's mind that these people are just trying to do their jobs? They don't know you from Adam's housecat, let alone know what a self-proclaimed "great nose" you are. Just...
I think it's a winner for a younger guy, but to each his own. A&F has put out some nice fragrances, but I think they get a bad rap because of the brand.
If I had a product and I thought that someone was infringing on a trademark or whatever, I would probably do the same thing. I have been a Bond customer for a while now, and I will tell you that...
It is a nice fragrance. I really like the rose notes that start to come through.
Since you're already a fan of the brand, Burberry The Beat has a lot of black pepper.
They are continuing to expand here in the US. They are now available in certain Neiman Marcus stores as well as their boutiques and Saks.
This is a repost from yesterday; I should have titled that post differently. I hope this info can help out anyone that needs it! I was in Saks in Birmingham, AL over the weekend. They had about 5...
For what it's worth, I was in Saks in Birmingham, AL over the weekend. They had about 5 bottles of A*Men Pure Havane. This is all they will have. 205-298-8550 ask for Tara. She is the Creed rep...
I found my bottle at one of those kiosks in the middle of the mall, purely on accident. Plus, I only paid 60 dollars for it. Holla! And it IS genuine!
I'm sure it would be something "French". *drum and cymbal*
I was just messin' with ya!
Maybe Voyage d' Hermes, a little. Not really any mint there though...
If you're buying bottles that say "channel" on them, maybe that's why you're not getting the "kick".
I actually prefer it to be made in the USA. American jobs. I think I'll go spray!
Got my email this A.M. that it's going on now!
I lucked up a few weeks ago and got the 100ml of Vetiver for $20.
Katie, Kerosene and Guinea.
The bottle in normal lighting is a matte black, with almost a satin-y feel to it, if that makes sense. Granted it has to be a strong light and you have to hold the bottle almost directly on it, but...
Bought it at Neiman's.
Mine is 100% legit and I can see through it. Interestingly enough, I can see right through my bottle of Virgin Isalnd Water when I hold it up to the light, too!!!!!!!!
Original, Fever, and Fiji.
Central Park is great. Gramercy Park is good too, but I find Central Park a bit more masculine. Riverside Drive is an excellent green frag too, along with Chez Bond. But my all time favorite green...
I was at a Macy's and asked this stranger what he was wearing. It was Tommy Bahama.
It's all about control.
I think it is similar to CLV, but by no means does it smell just like it. I think it's actually pretty unique.
Bond No. 9 Montauk
Bond No. 9 Fire Island
Creed Virgin Island Water
Ususally these "allergic" types are always looking to play the victim. I can see it in my head now - there was probably a whole over-exaggerated "episode" that went along with this complete with...
OK, granted it may have been a crime to wear Japanese Cherry Blossom - A LAWSUIT?!?! SERIOUSLY?!?! Assault with a fragrant weapon!
I went with the Hermes, mainly because I have not found a Hermes that I don't like.
Bond No. 9 Nouveau Bowery.
They make a ginormous bottle of Acqua d Gio, but I've only seen it around the holidays.
I'm not sure about the synthetic/natural makeup of Bond's products, all I know is that many of them smell great!
They do it in rotations. So like one group of VIP members may get goodies on one round, then another on another round. I have recieved several things from them.
I would compare Chez Bond to Cool Water and GIT. Hamptons channels Silver Mountain Water. I would compare Wall Street to Millesme Imperial and Unforgivable. New Haarlem smells a little like Rochas...
I am dying here!!! The hand!!! Reaching out ever so gently to the "bottle". OMG!
I wonder who we would ban?
If that is true, why is there an American talk radio show host banned from entering Britain because of "hate speech?"
It does limit your sense of smell, so I say spray more!
Corolla's are actually put together pretty well.
I don't think it's true.
I am seriously LOL'ing!
...is one that lasts all night
I vote for Brooklyn, Great Jones, or perhaps Central Park.
Something by Hermès.
Today I recieved a prize from Bond No. 9! They were having a contest on their Facebook page - post a Valentine and they would pick three to win. Well, everyone who posted won. I recieved a pocket...
Aren't they awful?!
New Haarlem -Coffee, Coffee, Coffee.
Bond No. 9 Little Itlay
Fan of Mike Myers/Linda Richmond?
I love it.
I read this and resprayed myself.
The new Infiniti M has a similar feature and it is a 10th of the price.
Green Irish Tweed
Chanel Allure Homme
Lasts through to the next day. On clothes it lingers for days.
I think the bottom line issue is control. These people want to control every aspect of your life. What's next? Rules on what color sweaters you can wear? But it better not be cashmere, or any...
Just smells like mothballs...
Fierce, definitely. Unique and THE compliment getter. Excellent longevity, the whole bit. Nothing like it. If this is ever discontinued, it will be a sad day (for me at least).
Post a Valentine to Bond No. 9's Facebook wall by this evening and you will be entered into contest to win a "big surprise" from them. The first twenty to have posted automatically get a free pocket...
Try A&F fierce or woods.
As far as comparing frags to wine : Barefoot brand wine (4.99 - 6.99) consistently wins awards over other wines costing much more.
My take (if anyone even gives a damn) is that some folks go out of their way to go onto threads about an "unworthy" fragrance and criticize it just because. Example: Joe blow asks a question - which...
That's true! Lobster used to be a poor-man's food! I wish it still was!
Aaaaannnnddd they're off....
I agree with Renato.
I did the same thing once too; I still haven't been able to afford to rebuy everything that I gave away.
I don't know if it's just me, but I would expect a fragrance called Orange would smell like oranges. It does sound like it will be a good one, though.
