Re: The noses: 03 - Olivia Giacobetti

Preparation Parfumee! My current favorite, smells like wet driftwood. Completely unique.
Of course, Dzing is a close second.

    Re: Gobin Daudé

I discovered the Gobin Daude scents only earlier this year, and absolutely love them. Voted for Sous le Buis, it's a very green scent, and I can see how on some people it would be a little too sharp....

Re: Piper Nigrum : lasting power?

90 Euro is probably the price for the 3.3 oz. Although they sell for $90 in the US, so they actually may be a little cheaper at the source. On my last trip to the Lafco NYC store where they sell...

    Re: Poivre from Caron

After reading this thread I ordered some samples from Caron in NYC. I tried Tabac Blond, Poivre, Coup de Fouet and Alpona. Tabac Blond and Alpona are not exactly my taste, Poivre was quite nice, but...

Re: GOBIN DAUDE where r u??

A few months ago, I discovered the Gobin Daude scents through samples I ordered through Ebay. I was lucky enough to get Sous le Buis and Seve exquise for a great price, and have a swap in the works...

    Re: smokey, incensey wood

    Try Timbukty by l'Artisan Parfumeur.
It has lots of wood and incense, and is very dry. I think it's a great scent that lasts quite long.

    Re: Basenotes swaps board

I've done a few swaps on Makeupalley while BN swapping was closed.

I kind of like their format of being able to search member's swap lists. It seems easier than creating a new post and having to...
