Don't like the original Play so would be interested to try these....
  2. Re: Which of these do you think I should get?

Ended up getting Santal Blanc as it's getting discontinued in the export line and I'd hate to miss out on it. A bit like a less gourmand-ey version of Jeux de Peau. I love it.

Re: I took the Secretions Magnifique plunge

Just tried it. It's a bit like someone excreted into a typical celebrity scent.... but it's lovely. I'm on the like team.

I'm not in the south island.
  9. Re: Which of these do you think I should get?

Thanks! I considered Bas de Soie and Nuit de Cellophane as floral options, but it's getting a bit cold for a floral in NZ...
  10. Which of these do you think I should get?

I like them all equally and don't care if a fragrance is more masculine or feminine. I'm not too sure about the Creed because my nearest stockist has the 75ml for $399 NZD which is overpriced.

  11. Do you think Riverside Drive smells like 212 Men?

Just got my sample of Bond no. 9 Riverside Drive and to me it smells incredibly similar to 212 Men by Carolina Herrera. Have any of you basenoters detected this or have I just got a weird batch of...

I do have a sense of humour, actually. I just found this funny in a way different from the way others, not taking it with a grain of salt and finding it silly and implausible. Remember my first post?...
  16. Re: Does anybody else find the notes listed in Comme des Garcons' Odeur 53 and 71 pretentious and si

No I do not. To my nose all of the the CDG fragrances I have tried (many) are boring.

  36. Re: Does anybody else find the notes listed in Comme des Garcons' Odeur 53 and 71 pretentious and si

They are creative and original, but with abstract notes that are synthetic to the point where you can name them ANYTHING, how does one distinguish one from the other?
  37. Does anybody else find the notes listed in Comme des Garcons' Odeur 53 and 71 pretentious and silly?

    Notes such as:

'Dust on a hot light bulb'
'The salty taste of a battery' (getting the senses a bit confused, aren't we?)

I'm sure there are more but for some reason they are not listed online....

  45. Bond No. 9 New York Bleecker Street Blind Buy

Hello, I'm new and need some help with something.

I don't have any high-end niche fragrances (the closest thing I have is Cravache by Robert Piguet) and I would like to buy one from Bond No. 9.
