Re: Latest L'Artisan Parfumeur - Bana Banana!

It was very green banana on me at first then faded into banana baby powder, not a big fan.

Re: Newbie - beginning a collection

I wore Dior Homme Cologne while in Florida, it's great for that environment. Voyage d'Hermes would work well too - the EDT at least, I haven't tried the parfum.

Xerjoff Lira, L De Lolita Lempicka, and Hermes Ambre Narguile are nice.

    Re: New Haarlem question

I think if you own Pure Tonka, you don't really need New Haarlem. They are that similar to each other to me. Rochas Man has a tiny similarity but really Pure Tonka is almost a dupe for NH to me....

    Re: New Haarlem question

It smells extremely similar to Mugler's A*Men Pure Tonka, if you've ever tried that one. Rochas Man is lighter and less maple syrup to me than New Haarlem.

    Oh, I'm anti-cinema.

Just kidding, I don't know how I managed to miss that one. 😜 I believe I'll go with Replica Lipstick On.

    Re: Fragrance as Pre-workout?

I know some think it's a deadly sin, but I shower and put a spritz or two of D&G Light Blue on before the gym. It's just about the only time I wear it. It's energizing to me. 🙂

    Re: Top-tier cacao scents

My favorite is Angel Muse EDT; the EDP isn't bad either and very unisex (IMHO).

    Re: Strange Article - Thoughts?

I go without perfume some days, and sometimes multiple days in a row and don't experience any type of "withdrawal," so I really am not sure I agree with that. I think the lady he labeled an "addict"...
  13. Re: Name the fragrance you tried/smelled today for the first time. (Feminine fragrances edition!)

Thank you guys both so much for the warm welcome, happy to be here! Please bear with me while I get the hang of this new (to me) format..
  14. Re: Name the fragrance you tried/smelled today for the first time. (Feminine fragrances edition!)

Mugler randomly sent me a sample of Angel EDT in the mail, and it's not bad. Less mentholated patchouli than the original with lots of berries and a cotton candy vibe on me. A lighter take on the...
