OP, did you mistake Joop Homme for Joop Nightflight?
It has gone up in price in the UK now. Allbeauty don't stock it anymore and neither do my local pharmacies. It used to be widely available for £9.99 but now it's closer to £20 on eBay. I think all...
I liked it. But I think the original Bottled is better.
I own the new formulation. It's definitely thinner than it used to be. It's no projection beast but it stays on my skin for 6-8 hours. I'll get wafts of it a long time after application.
I like it. It's less powdery and less sweet than the original. It's not stronger. A much better flanker than the terrible Night and Sport versions.
90% seems a bit odd. It doesn't say Lancaster either.
I'd just buy ones that you like the smell of. If it's a designer so be it. If it's niche so be it. I don't own a single niche and am very happy with my designer collection.
It's a lot different to the scents they were releasing ten years ago. Icon is nothing like the playful and garish Desire, X-Centric or Pure. Icon is a well blended, formal, civilised and gentlemanly...

Calvin Klein Truth
Laura Biagotti Roma Uoma.
Davidoff Silver Shadow Altitude.
Calvin Klein Obsession Woman.
Will look forward to trying this. I liked the original but now prefer the Intense version.
This is for sale to UK buyers at allbeauty.com.
I went into Debenhams and asked if they had it and the rep said he'd never heard of it. I showed him it on my phone. He then got out CK's...
Alain Delon fragrances.
Sean John Unforgivable for Men
Britney Spears Fantasy.
Jennifer Lopez Glow.
David Beckham Intimately Women.
Madonna Truth or Dare.
Jade Goody Shhh!
I think this smells like a wet dog.
Excellent company. I've never had a problem with them and I've used them for six years now.
Fuel For Life.
I think it's lovely.
I think it's very nice. Reminds me of cherry tobacco. The original's DNA is in there but it's subtle. It's a good winter fragrance.
I like it. But It's a bit stuffy and formal. Makes me think of Sundays (odd I know).
I think L'eau Azzaro is perfect for summer.
+1. I think it's a very good all rounder. Suitable for many different occasions.
I recommend London, Black, 51.3N, Desire, Desire Blue and Man (brown juice with off-set sprayer).
London is my favourite. I love it.
Lacoste L12 White.
I've bought several and have been very impressed. I prefer the edt to the oils.
One Man Show.
I think Unforgivable is back in production. Allbeauty.com have it back in stock.
Bogart Silver Scent is sweet and gum-like. Has a grape and raspberry smell to it.
You know what I mean!
It definitely smells like the original version but seems stripped of some notes. A synthetic plasticy note is dominant. I think it is pretty horrible.
How many threads have there been on this subject now?
The Gucci is brilliant. I have several backup bottles.
It's very nice. It does smell like L'Homme parfum.
I hope it's reminiscent of the old version of pour Homme...
Diamonds for Men.
Gucci PH I
Azzaro Homme Elixir.
The Original XS.
I think it smells like XS.
Adventure is bland and I actually think unpleasant.
Silver Shadow reminds me of Boss Bottled with strong orange and juniper notes.
Silver Shadow Altitude is much nicer. A convincing zesty and fresh...
Light Blue for women is very good and much much better than the drab men's version. Just buy the women's version!
The top notes are similar to Dior Homme. Then it RAPIDLY dries down into a sweet and powdery amber - reminding me of Boss Bottled. It's nothing to get excited about and in line with recent CKs it...
The bottle looks clumsy.
Neither smell like the original. I don't like the original. I do like Just Different and own a small bottle. It gets compliments.
I think there was a thread several years ago that talked about this. It linked to an official Escada page which said Escada were discontinuing all their men's fragrances due to market and financial...
I think it has been changed. My new bottle doesn't last long on me.
Black has definetly changed. I couldn't smell the marzipan anymore. I sniffed 1881 original after and it smells weaker to me, so I would say both have been reformulated.
Because it is bland and has poor longevity.
I thought it was horrible. Pour Homme and its recent flankers like L'Eau and Elixir are nicer. They should push those more. I expect Decibel's bottle was one reason it failed.
I think it's lovely. Be careful on the trigger though - it packs a punch!
I'll just write post deleted.
My edit button won't doesn't have a delete option.
I did a search on how to delete a post but there doesn't seem to be one.
Iceberg have fragrance called 74 with a range of flankers.
I don't think either are summery fragrances. But in any case I think 1 Million is way better than VPH. The Versace to me is just a middling orange scent. It has little character IMO.
As for summer...
Silver Scent which I bought recently is very similar IMO to Sculpture. SS has a raspberry note and maybe grape too. I think Sculpture is better though.
Nivea also do a Happy Time shower cream. It is a lovely, sunny but gentle orange smell. I love it.
Obsession Night for Men.
This. I also notice some fragrances actually smell different after a shower. I think skin oils must have an influence on the scent. Maybe they even have a fixative role?
I have a bottle and never use it. It makes me think of Fahrenheit mixed with sugary cherryade. It's incredibly weak with minimal silage and longevity. When it is sprayed on skin it leaves a shiny and...
I think it smells like The Fragrance (for women) by Iceberg. It's nice. Iceberg is a lot cheaper!
Cool Water always gets compliments.
Are we talking about a new bottle made by Coty? I only ask because new bottles of Obsession and Escape are watered down. I bought a brand new Coty Escape recently and noticed it's poor strength...
Everything about it is horrible.
I think it's lovely. I had two bottles of it. But I'm not buying it again as it doesn't last at all :(
Lol. How many night flankers are there on the market now? I suppose it makes a change to sport flankers.
What will be next? La Nuit de L'homme Night?
Mmm. All the bottles eBay UK are expensive. I'm under the impression that fragrance is much cheaper in the US that the UK...
Fleur due Male.
I'm certain it's discontinued. I asked at a EL counter in a department store. I own a bottle and like it. It's a bit unusual. It has a tropical fruit smell like passion fruit and melon, plus a...
Sounds good. Thanks!
L'eau resembles Homme a little. It is much lighter. It has a dominant citrus note that resembles yuzu and grapefruit. The closest scent I can think of for comparison is Escape for men. I own Azzaro...
I don't think this is a Proctor and Gamble scent. Dunhill signed a deal back in 2012 with Inter Parfums to make new scents. Interesting that they seem to be sticking with namesakes and not going...
It's a rougher version of DH. DH is more refined and therefore better but PSM is much cheaper to buy.
I've not tried the Summer flanker but I think the Aqua flanker is good version for hot summer days. I'm not keen on the original at all. I think Absolute and Aqua are better.
It was horrible. That's why.
I've noticed that most of the bestsellers in the UK are getting more expensive. E.g:
Dior Homme 50ml used to be £43. Now it's £47.
Diesel Fuel for Life 30 ml was £24. Now it's £30. 50ml was £30....
Then why post a reply at all?
Tried it. Boring, barely there scent. Bland. Nondescript. I can't think of any thing to describe it. Totally pointless.
I think it smells very similar to Iceberg's The Fragrance for women. A nice creamy, pistachio scent. I own the Iceberg and like it a lot.
I smells nice. Nothing else. It's pretty dull but clean with mediocre silage, projection and longevity. I'd avoid it.
It's nice. Reminded me of Lacoste L12 White. A clean, soapy white smell. It has a powdery vanilla dry down. It is the best Bottled flanker so far. Longevity was middling though.
I think Desire is excellent. I want to try the new Black version.
The white/blanc is the best L12 by far. I own a bottle and enjoy it. But this one looks like it is the same juice but just has a neon crocodile on it? What's the point in that?
I love it.
Don't blind buy this.
Aramis Always smells similar iirc.
Does Silver smell like $1 Million?
I've often though about buying Silver blind but haven't plucked up the courage. I like fruity scents and $1 Million - will I like Silver? Or is it too similar to...
The 2012 version is just terrible. If it's all they can be bothered to produce they should just stop making it.
Pharos and Iquitos by Alain Delon.
Gucci Pour Homme I.
Joop What About Adam.
Unforgivable Sean Jean.
Diesel Plus Plus.
Alessandro D'ell Acqua.
Police Original reminds me of Hypnose Homme and Burberry Touch Man. I like it but staying power is not good. Dark is nice enough and a good evening scent if you're on a budget. I've tried a few...
I own Elixir and like it very much. I think it smells very similar to PH. What makes it different to my nose is the addition of cherry tobacco notes which eventually dominate over the PH notes.
The original is best. Night is horrible. Sport is meh. Not seen Unlimited yet to try.
I thought the whole point of One is that it was unisex. Why are they now bringing out flankers for both genders?
The original Silver Shadow smells just like Boss Bottled but with an oily orange note. It is pleasant to begin with but the orange smell becomes annoying. SS is what Boss Orange should have smelt...
Happy by Clinique.
