In a perfume- no!
Would buy a Martin D'35 and a Fender Telecaster and a VOX AC30.
I have never had the opportunity to try the vintage. For the current one,
1) the opening is quite strong
2) sillage is average
3) longevity is 7-8 hours
Dior Homme Intense
Midnight in Paris
Because of my financial situation, I would make my next purchase not before 2017.
Jules by Dior.
+1. This is the best Versace.
Never knew there are 2 different versions to this one!
On a serious note, I find the idea of a fragrance-free workplace rather idiotic.
212 VIP is very good for daytime, and quite versatile too. I can only suggest 2 out of these 8- 212 VIP and Paco Rabanne 1 million.
I don't find much similarity. I prefer the Prada between the two.
I tend towards Midnight in Paris usually.
Yes it definitely is a luxury good.
F is for Fahrenheit.
K is for Kouros.
Aye, this one is a tough one. Both are great, but Pure Havane is slightly better in terms of sillage and longevity. Pure Malt is also closer to the original A Men than Pure Havane.
These 3 are the only 'out-and-out' summer fragrances I have. I had been having the Versace for a long time, but it never grew on me. Over time I found it more synthetic and without much appeal in the...
I have Versace Man Eau Fraiche, it doesn't last long or project well for me.
Ouch, that hurts. ALWAYS lock your luggage.
I solemnly offer my deepest condolences.
Sometimes I do. :)
Forget what people here are saying, it's popular with the ladies! ;)
If it's cold weather then no.
If it's hot weather then yes.
Dior Homme Sport
I like both but tend towards the woody scents.
I vote for Dior Homme Sport over Eau Sauvage, though Eau Sauvage is a more versatile fragrance.
Dior Homme Sport is just wonderful.
1. Are they fakes?
2. Are they old stock?
Possibly. Depending on circumstances such as the sell turnover rate of the fragrance and your luck, it may be old stock or just older. Luckyscent and...
If you look around hard enough, you'd find Magnetism by Escada at competitive prices. You can get yourself maybe 2 bottles instead of one.
Otherwise, I suggest you ask around for a replacement,...
versace man eau fraiche from that list.
Van Cleef and Arpels pour homme.
Yes, mostly get positive comments.
I like Givenchy Gentleman a lot.
None, but Rive Gauche pour homme comes closest.
Not worth it in my opinion. While the scent is very good, poor performance absolutely breaks the deal.
While I like both of them, I get better projection and longevity from Pure Havane.
Have to get myself a bottle of this..
I have a question for you if you are reading this and also happen to ...... play the violin. Assuming you are right-handed, do you spray to the left side of your neck?
I did once before practising,...
I'm always on the mood to enjoy classical music. ;)
I love to wear Bulgari Blu, the one for women.
If you want something from YSL, go with Kouros. ;)
Anybody ever shopped from there? They seem to have some a good selection, but there's no phone number on their website.
I bet you'd be wondering what's the connection, but here is the question.
How on earth does one know how much juice is left inside the bottle?
Tsar by Van Cleef and Arpels. Anybody else thinks so?
Dior Homme Intense.
Pure Apple by Thierry Mugler!
I did end up purchasing a bottle, and I get moderate projection and longevity. However, there is an intense version which I plan to check out sometime.
Don't pick fragrances based on occasion. However I do wear based on season. For colder weather I go ahead with the usual stuff but for warmer weathers I tend to pick aromatic fougeres as much as...
Futur by Robert Piguet.
Furyo by Bogart. There are many others.
Thierry Mugler Angel Men
Anything from this collection worth checking out? I have and love VCA pour Homme, Tsar and midnight in Paris.
This one is a bit strong. I never go with more than 5 sprays.
Dior Homme Intense
Midnight in Paris
I too was underwhelmed at first, but now I feel I need to try it again.
Perhaps you should check out Acqua di Gio and L'eau d'Issey. I think Starwalker doesn't try to do anything much different than what these two are able to accomplish.
I find the opening captivating, the drydown absolutely gorgeous.
Cold rainy day? Staying at home? Go for this!
I would have almost been on the same boat as the OP if it were not for Antaues.
Thanks! My guess was 75ml as well. Didn't know it came in only one size.
If you buy Gucci Guilty, you shall be proved Guilty of being unacceptably stupid and bringing disrepute to the fragrance community in the mighty court of Basenotes! The penalty would be a charity...
What size did you get?
Thanks for your opinions. I'm going for Gucci pour Homme since I'm getting a good deal for it. And I won't miss Pure Malt that much since I have Pure Havane.
Man, look at this! 1 to 42 now! Still that 1 is surprising...
I've narrowed down my lists and as it stands now in planning to get myself exactly one of the following:
1. Burberry London
2. Pure Malt
3. Gucci pour Homme I
Which one do you suggest? Thanks!
Bleu de Chanel.
I know it's winter here with Christmas, but which one do you prefer between Lanvin L'Homme Sport and Leau Bleue d'Issey
Do you find any similarity between the two?
If you're not a fan of aquatics...
For some reason I thought you are in your early 30s.
1988 without a doubt.
All the MPG scents.
Check out Azzaro Visit! :)
Have blind bought the following :
Rive Gauche pour Homme
Tommy Bahama Set Sail St Bart's
Michael Jordan Legend
No bad blind buy so far....
Dior Homme Intense
Prada Amber pour Homme intense
Antaeus - no doubt about it
Platinum Egoiste/ Allure Edition blance/
Bleu de chanel
This is assuming I can't pick from their Exclusifs.
Anyone tried the extreme version?
I share your love for Eau Sauvage parfum, but sorry, not this one.
I'm in my mid 20s but would any day choose stuff like Rive Gauche, Tsar, Jazz...... over this kind of an insipid and uninspiring...
Kenzo pour Homme
Have you tried the pour homme soir and the pour Homme extreme?
