    Re: How much is left?

You can apparently hold GIT to a light to see through the bottle, but just tried mine and my bathroom light is clearly not bright enough.

Re: Anything close to a forest?

I just wore Norne yesterday, and I thought straight forest. Maybe a little smokiness, but to me it's done in a really good way. If you like forest you should definitely sample.

    Re: Favorite Wood Fragrances

This is my favorite category also, and have been hunting for the "perfect" wood fragrance. Probably haven't found perfect yet, but there are many that I really like.

    So far my favorites are:

    Re: Slumberhouse

I tried Jeke yesterday, and you're right, this is my favorite of the bunch. It reminded me a lot of Sonoma Scent Studio's winterwoods, but with some tobacco added in and much longer lasting. I'm...
  7. Re: Top 10 Scents for the 50 to 100 dollar range.

All of the 50 ml bottles should be in the $80 range. If you're going to be collecting 10 different bottles you might find that the small bottle is all you need.
  8. Re: Tom Ford - Oud Wood / Tobacco Vanille / Neroli Portofino / Noir de Noir split (US only)

Received my TV yesterday, and couldn't be happier. Thanks for the split Mike! Great communication, really quick turnaround, and great looking bottle!
  9. Re: Top 10 Scents for the 50 to 100 dollar range.

Sartorial is one of my favorites, a great scent when wearing slacks and tie. If you like sandalwood, you could get Villoresi Sandalo or AOS sandalwood. Acqua di Parma is getting closer to $100 but...

    Re: Slumberhouse

Whoo hoo! Got my sample pack yesterday. I've been really interested in trying these scents out. So far I've tried Sova and Norne. My first reaction of Sova was that it might be too sweet for me. ...
  11. Re: I have a question about buying a possible backup bottle...Bleu de Chanel

I'd be very surprised if Bleu gets to be reformulated significantly before 2015. But you never know, if peace of mind is worth the $78 or whatever it costs, then go for it.

Re: What makes a fragrance "difficult"?

I agree with most, I take difficult to mean that it might be difficult for the general sniffer to appreciate. Although a classic and loved by many here, I find Knize ten difficult to wear, and that...

Re: TF Grey Vetiver, a major let down

There is nothing ground breaking about Grey Vetiver, but I enjoy it as a fine vetiver that smells good and works well in the office.

Poll: Re: Which Acqua di Parma is your favorite?

Assoluta lasts longer on me, so I'd like to choose it but I still have to go with Colonia.
  17. Re: Tom Ford - Oud Wood / Tobacco Vanille / Neroli Portofino / Noir de Noir split (US only)

PM sent on the TV, if the last spot is still available.

    Thanks!
  18. Re: Anyone surviving on only decants and samples?

When I started to get addicted, I started off by buying bottles. I now probably have 15 bottles, some are worn more than others. As I started wanting to try more and more of the niche scents, I...
  19. Re: Citrusy or fruity, smooth.. Recommendations?

I'd vote for any of the ADP's, colonia being my favorite. They're probably slightly more expensive than most designers, but not overly so. If you have A Bloomingdales near you go take a sniff of the...
  20. Re: Cant resist spraying colognes on!!! SMELL ADDICT

Yeah. After work I'll often have a different sample on each arm, and usually even a different scent on that I can smell as I am going to sleep. I think I too am addicted.

Re: Some thoughts on "that Cologne guy"

Yeah, it depends is the easy answer. The GIT atomizer sprays so much, that when I first got it I would spray my usual 3 sprays and go to work, but it didn't take long to notice that every person who...
