I love this stuff
It may seem strange, but this goes quite well with an AXE Phoenix base layer (Body wash...
That might be it, it may just be weaker now
I love it too and have often wished it lasted longer, somehow, I remember men like my dad's age (he'd be 92 now if he was alive) would wear this back when I was a kid and it seemed to linger for...
Sounds good and in my low budget price range, may have to try it - thanks.
I've had this for about 3 years, it was $7.00, I wore it around the house a couple of times, wore it to bed once, and, in all honesty, it's not that...
40 bucks plus - 2
cheapies (under 10-12 bucks) I think 4-5
That good old reliable stand-by
With Dirty English, I use a base of AXE Music, just a light frontal spray and add a couple of small dabs of a patchouli oil, it mixes well, and greatly increases the longevity, and no, it's not just...
Oh Geez, forgot one of my faves - Dirty English
BIG +1 for Everlast 1910
Jeanne Arthes - Sultane Gold
Jaguar - Original For Men
CK Shock For Him
Halston - Z-14
Michael Jordan - Legend
Cuba - Gold
Cuba - Red
Dosis - Hombre De Oro (reviews say it is very weak, but I...
It sounds like a very good waste of time (that's a compliment) as to how would I do naming my own? - Not very well, I'd get maybe 20-25% though i THINK.
I like this stuff, always have from the first time I smelled it many years ago on someone else, I...
Michael Jordan Legend
+1 on Armani Code and Bleu de Chanel - I'll add Givenchy Pour Homme Blue Label some say it's more spring/summerish, but I bought it in the winter and like it anytime, on me, the ceder gives it a nice...
It's about time for another Eau Sauvage, maybe the CK Eternity Now if after I finally try it I like it and it sounds like I might, Serge Lutens Chergui and if something seems like something I MUST...
Never wore this in the cold before, but I think it will be fine.
I'm not sure if I have even smelled the newer version, but I think it is one that some people can wear and others just can't, at least the "old stuff" was that way. I had a friend back in the late...
The scent of Horse piss, on straw, in a bottle, that you pay for... no thanks, I'll pass - that said I do like the scent of hay, and of warm clean horses, and old leather and stuff like that.
I have one of each of the Original, older and newer, and yes the older IS the better, the newer is ok too but not as good. Vision is also pretty good (IMO) have not tried the Jaguar II.
Many good suggestions - I'll add Jaguar For Men and Cadillac, both cheapies, both long lasting, both project well and both are warm (at least to me) The Jaguar is the more "masculine" of the two IMO.
I wore this all the time in the late 70's, this, along with Patchouli oil became pretty...
Along with many already mentioned I'd like to add Burberry London and Versace the Dreamer
yes, it's an "all day" one I get 6-8 hours nearly always
If it's opposite of what i thought, then it would be Old Spice Wolfthorn - I mean, yeah, I do like it, but I get a compliment nearly every time I wear it and I did NOT expect that
One of my friends wears it now and then, and on her it is amazing, and I agree a guy could easily wear this.
Bleu de Chanel, it has gotten a couple of compliments, but not as many as I thought it might, but that's ok, I like it, and I'm sure some others will along the way.
I have several small bottles of this stuff, and would wear it far more often if it lasted longer because the scent itself is...
I think I looked at this wrong, I put the ones that I like, not that are popular right right now, I actually have NO idea what is popular right now, I just know when I smell something I like so I ask...
The long list above is excellent - my own faves on a woman - D&G Light Blue, Obsession,(on some), Shalimar, Mademoiselle, Paloma Picasso, Sunflowers (yes, Sunflowers, I know it's not super popular...
Hmm, 2 suggestions, one higher end - Chanel's Coromandel - one on the inexpensive side - Paloma Picasso - the other suggestions are good too, especially Bandit
Yes, the Houbigant version
For about 10-15 minutes, this smells a LOT like Platinum Egoiste, but after 30 minutes,...
One of my mom's favorites
Let me guess, ebay? It seems some people get lucky all the time with ebay and some have the luck you had, personally, I would never use ebay for anything simply because of the horror stories...
It seems common today indeed...
You might want to further explore some light essential oils lightly mixed with unscented lotion and/or scented lotions/body washes. They tend to be much lighter than typical EDTs/Perfumes or even...
Some safe bets, in the manly but clean territory, I think, would be Cool Water, Nautica Voyage, Nautica Blue, Aspen, the already mentioned Mugler Cologne and Monsieur Musk - also Curve Chill and...
oh and it's the bottle that really puts me off, I know the Cuba cigar bottles are tacky to some, but they are less tacky to me than that headless, armless, legless torso thing Le Male comes in.
thank you if it's still available after i get the much needed water heater and new tires i might splurge a little on myself
own - none
want - Chergui, Five O'Clock Au Gingembre (is it really discontinued?) and Borneo 1834
I just wear Cuba Gold, (I am today in fact) which I really like, cheaper, and close enough to Le Male for 98% of the sniffing public, and no worries of reformulations and the like.
I like it, I don't have it, but I am surprised i don't, and yes I think the ceder and vanilla combo is what gives the sweetness
Good old familiar and reliable
In order -
Guilty/Issey Miyake (tie)
Lacoste (if at all)
I'd do 3 about an hour before you get there
Gold Temptation does pair well with Playboy VIP, also with One Million . I'm not familiar with Axe Marine.
I truly like a LOT of cheapies, and, own the entire Paris Hilton men's line (all 3)
You will, and that will be your next confession
This smells nothing like the original British Sterling , I kind of like this.
and....this is why some guys wonder why they seldom/never get a compliment - seriously though, there does seem to be some grain of truth in the presumption that women like a lot of scents that many...
Four travel size/15ML one Nautica Voyage which I have but not this size, one Nautica Blue, which I have but not this size, and two new (to me) ones, British Sterling H.I.M. Reserve, which I had tried...
I have only emptied a VERY few the past few years, I was able to toss a couple with no regrets, but the others, well they have MAYBE a couple of sprays in them, even though I have replaced the ones i...
Of the ones I have, Penhaligon's Endymion, Michael Jordan Flight, and Estee Lauder Mustang
The Mythic sounds really nice
Captain Morgan Parrot Bay describes it almost perfectly
I like it, and yes I like the original too - I like it enough that I have 3 bottles of it and yes, it's kind of brash and kind of boozy and kind of sweet, everything I like - my best advice is try it...
yeah, it's very borderline and I would say crosses over to the dark side - though I have been known, in my youth, to "sample" freely from one certain bottle or another now and then before going out...
Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Barts is one I'd like to add.
