SMW will be my next purchase. I'm just waiting for either a really good deal to come my way, or for it to be a little closer to spring before I pick it up.
I own VIW which is great to wear in spring and summer. With spring in the not-too-distant future, I am now on the lookout for SMW as well.
I actually just updated my signature yesterday
Congrats on ripping off photos that aren't yours!
I unfortunately get olfactory fatigue from Aventus too, which is too bad as it's definitely one of my favorites.
Here's a few places I've tried and had positive experiences with: Fragrancenet, Fragrancex, and also Lucky Scent. Good luck and welcome.
I tried this in early spring and although it's not a bad fragrance, it's nothing special either. It starts out as a light/sweet smelling fragrance that dries down to a powdery vanilla.
When I sampled this, all I got was sour lemon and not much else. A pass for me...
Jean Paul Gaultier - Le Male
I've used colognes ever since I was a teenager. I always wore something daily, but I really never gave it much thought as far as collecting goes. A little over a year ago, I found this site and since...
Before I got into fragrance as a hobby, Joop! was one of my favorite scents as I prefer sweet smelling colognes. It works well with my skin chemistry so it definitely works for me. Now that I've...
Most Shoppers Drug Marts carry it, and I think I also saw it at The Bay. So if you have these stores in your area, you could probably try it there.
Creed - Virgin Island Water
I have the same problem with MI. When I first spray it on I get a very fruity smell, which I like a lot. But as it goes into the mid and base notes, it turns very sour/bitter on my skin which I...
Thanks for the info, Neil. I may just give them a call.
I received a message back from bond and they won't send their samples here; they didn't even bother reading my email as they just sent me back a generalized reply. I fail to see how western/central...
I just emailed the bond website to see if they will send their samples here in which they offer 6 samples for $15; I explained I live in Canada and am interested in checking out their colognes,...
I'd like in on this, please let me know.
Neil, if you have a Shopper's Drug Mart in your area, check there as they usually carry it.
One of my favorite summertime scents.
Itís good to hear that this woman apologized to you as we all say things we regret when weíre not feeling very good...BUT, she also said she knew it was you who was wearing the cologne that was...
Too bad this is only available to Americans, but nice of you nonetheless.
Diesel Fuel For Life pour Homme
I read the reviews of the Salvador Dali cologne in the directory, some of them were hilarious. I absolutely have to try this now
Hi Renaissance Man, thanks for the welcome.
Agreed, Cacio and others have made excellent suggestions as well as you. I’m definitely searching the fragrance directory to see which ones suit my tastes...
Thanks for the suggestion.
Concerning D & G; over the holidays I sampled both, The One, and The One Gentleman. I preferred The One Gentleman version better and got a sample of it from a local store. I havenít had the...
Yes, it is quite potent indeed. If I had to compare it to a smell most people would recognize, it would be a cross of the smell of black-top tar and a rather potent smelling soap. Since I wear...
Thanks for the recommendations guys, Iíll definitely be searching samples out to see how they work/blend with the soap.
I too thought Bulgari Black would work really well, and it does, to an extent....
Hello everyone, Iíve been lurking on the forums for quite awhile and have to say there is definitely a wealth of knowledge and material here that Iíve enjoyed exploring.
Living on the Canadian...
