    most of the 'smokey' batches aren't even very good, imo. especially the drydown can leave a lot to be desired when the fruit dies down. the best and most beastly are from 2011 and a few of the 2013s...

    it will have a deeper base than the latest versions but 2014 is still a 'non-vintage' year. if you want a proper smoky batch you need a 2013 or prior (excluding 13ZZ01).
