    Re: a must-have for every man's collection

I agree with L'Homme, I'll also add Boss Bottled.
  2. Re: Which two scents are the closest to identical?

For me Perry Ellis 360 Red is very close to ADG, although by no means 100% identical.
I also agree with those that have said Midnight in Paris and Bvlgari Black.
  3. Re: If its wasn't for Basenotes.net, I would never have bought...

    Amen or Pure Malt
  4. Re: Please help me pick a fragrance to wear to the club tomorrow night

I'm 19 and have recieved a ton of compliments in night clubs when wearing La Nuit.
  5. Re: What was the first fragrance you bought after joing basenotes?

Rochas Man, followed by Le Male.
  6. Re: What was the first fragrance that you bought?

Boss Bottled at 15 Years old. And of all the fragrances I've purchased in the past four years since then, it still has to be one of my favorites.

Re: Most "smelled" in your area...

I live in Auckland, New Zealand, and I smell a lot more of One Million and Cool Water than anything else.
  8. Re: What designer fragrance would you love to see made on a Niche scale?

    +1

The One was the first thing that came to mind for me.
  9. Re: What winter fragrance got you the most compliments in high school?

One Million, although I can't understand how, as I was guilty of spraying far, far to much.

Re: What's your favourite birth year scent?

My favorite offer of 1993 would have to be Platinum Egoiste.

Re: Let's face it, the best fragrance is

I wonder if the teens of today will be having this same discussion about 1 Million like this 30 years from now.
  12. Re: First Post: Looking for a Men's Cologne for work

Another vote for YSL's L'Homme. I too work in a sales role and I find this to be perfect for me. Versatile, inoffensive, fresh and sophisticated. Lacks a little longevity but I carry a decant in my...

Poll: Re: Age Group of Male Fragrance Collectors

18 here, and where I'm from (New Zealand) the words men and fragrance/perfume are almost never associated with eachother, regardless of age. So no matter how old I am, people don't understand my...
  14. Re: HELP!!! Looking for an (older?) bottle of the original, non-reformulated, A*Men. The REAL stuff.

I think I'm in the same position as you cannotavoidtrite. I wasn't aware that there was a reformulation, but it explains why neither the sillage nor the projection blew me away, especially after...

Re: YSL La nuit de l'homme - fake? (pics)

My Bottle is definitely real also, but I have the 100ml. and my cap is the same as the bottle on the right. If the juice smells good, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about :)

    Re: Confused by New Haarlem...

IMO its more suited for winter/fall. It could (and probably will) get sticky and overly cloying in warmer months, and especially at school will probably suffocate those around you. This doesn't mean...

    Re: Hiro Yorozuka

I love his reviews! I actually found BN due to a mention on one of his videos, and now I'm hooked!
