Re: What's your favourite shower gel?

    I don't really know.
I always buy my general use stuff like my superhero shower gels, when they're on sale near the checkout for three or A$4 at the local supermarket or pharmacy.
    If it's a...

    From Wikipedia,
"Rogan has an interest in sensory deprivation and using an isolation tank. He has stated that his personal experiences with meditation in isolation tanks has helped him explore the...

Re: What's your favourite shower gel?

The upper rooms of our house can get pretty hot on summer days (i.e. right now).
But it stays nice and cool in the lower level, especially in that Bat Cave-like room.

    I'm not fond of most...
  90. Re: Is it me or does Pal Zileri "Sartoriale" smell similar to Rush

Gucci Rush's performance is more complicated that that.
At the time I wrote here several times that it was only good for about two hours, which was pretty poor.
But then I posted a thread relating...

    Re: Everybody Hates Hugo Boss

The earlier Boss scents were powerhouses.

My favourites Boss Elements, Boss 6, Boss No.1, Dark Blue.
Hugo and Elements Aqua not as much - I was accused of wearing Napthalene flakes once when...

Re: Chrome EDP? The L’Oreal Era

You don't smell something metallic in it?

My old bottles of it are in 20 ml traveller bottles. It lasts all day in the hottest weather when all the others fail and wash away. And it projects...

Re: Chrome EDP? The L’Oreal Era

Thanks for the information. I definitely will test it when I get the chance, but suspect I may be somewhat disappointed.
I don't know how long Chrome lasts nowadays, but Chrome Intense (smells...

Re: What's your favourite shower gel?

When used for washing with a loofa (rather than for layering for scent purposes), the shower gels all seem to work the same on me.
Currently have in my upstairs shower,
    Man of Steel
    Brut Tropical...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

    How did I forget Valobra!

Interestingly, Valobra is unusual in that its shave stick is made of hard soap, whereas the regular Valobra shaving soap is of the softer type (like Cella and Pino...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

Yes, judging by the shelf space, many or most guys are served reasonably well with shaving foam. Consider yourself fortunate.

I've tried all types - up to the expensive Aramis shaving foam - and...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

Wow - it must have been bad if it was inferior to shaving foam.
I have several I'm not fond of, but I'd rate them all as better than shaving foam.
Still, I've mainly selected the one's people...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

No problem - but to be clear, I'm not recommending Palmolive, either European or Australian. On me they aren't among the best - but others do seem very fond of European Palmolive.

    I'd definitely...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

Ah - someone else here does use them, thanks.
Can I presume you are using the more highly rated European Palmolive stick?

You are right - if one had replacement pucks, they could easily be used...

Re: Shave Sticks - Anybody Using Them Here?

    Interesting.

Here is a shop selling them down here. Can probably get them cheaper on Ebay, since many are dirt cheap in the supermarkets of their home countries....
