Lippizan and Dior Homme Intense are my Iris picks.
Weighing up a Puredistance M purchase. Do you have 30ml left?
Wow! How fast was that? Lightening fast transaction and shipping just in time for my vacation. Pure White and Spice & Wood perfectly packed with some really nice samples too. Thank you Jay I will be...
Thanks again. I just picked up Houbigant Fougere Royale for $80.00 with free shipping. Excellent value.
Very compelling. Unique with a flair of sophistication. I am still working through my sample and feel it will be full bottle worthy some time in the future. I really like the mint.
Congratulations on your sample haul. My personal favorite is APOM one of my most worn. The house has so many winners I hope you enjoy them all.
A head scratcher to me but the daily wardrobe doesn't lie.
APOM pour homme
Safe work environment scents that I really enjoy. Very uplifting from start to finish.
Prive line is awesome. Perhaps a little pricey but well worth it. Rose D'Arabie is fabulous. Oud Royal is stunning. Myrrhe Impériale is out of this world. Figuere Eden is compelling and comforting....
Interesting observations from our esteemed group on this one. I am always been a big MFK fan so I will await more discussion as you revisit this one. The higher price point caught my eye perhaps...
Wow! That is a great price. To bad you don't like that one because it's become a favorite of mine from the house.
I am impressed on such a varied haul. Some excellent scents chosen. I hope you enjoy them all.
A smooth and not overpowering rose/Oud composition that has a tenacious lasting musky dry down. I really don't have anything that I have come across before to relate this too. It is very pleasing to...
Amouage Lyric Woman. Seductive and very compelling.
Lyric Woman to me is better than both. But if I had to choose Reflection Man
Yes this has to be the one. Stands the test of time.
Sand Aoud was a early favorite but Gold Intensitive Aoud has won me over lately. I have samples of Aoud Sandroses and Black to Black both are very impressive.
I am glad this seems to be a winner from this much unappreciated house in the past. Layton seems to tick many boxes for me. I must try.
Aqua Vitae, Eau Savauge, Colonia Essenza, Colonge Indelible, APOM pour homme are some of my favorites.
My favorite from the house. I always enjoy wearing it. A compliment getter around the office.
My first Serge and always been a big favorite for me. Spicy opening is to die for. Peps me up in a major way.
L'Occitanes best. A vanilla incense stunner.
Aqua Vitae for me. I have really grown to like it. Forte is on my list to try as many think it enhances its namesake.
Mancera Gold Intensitive Aoud.
Montale Red Vetyer
Good for you. The Masters has everyone here eager again to hit the links. The Speith capitulation is what I can hang my hat on, I know I will always be in good company with the best of them after...
Great willpower Chuck. I have been cooling my jets for around six months. Finally, succumbed to Dia Man at a outstanding value and took the plunge. So well worth it and enjoying it immensely. Good...
Agree that were I have had the best results for this house.
Always a fan of this house. Can't wait for more impressions from the forum. Thanks Mikesc for the lead info.
I agree. Good post as well as point.
I had a hard time getting Absolu pour le Soir last year. It still had the potency many came to respect in the past so I was very happy about the purchase. I always fear reformulations as they do ...
Ambra Aurea is the only one I own so far. It really has the staying power and is very pleasant. Arso and Acqua Viva are two from the house that intrigues me for a future purchase.
Than you for the information looks very intriguing.
I love both. Eden is wonderful in the summer months recreating the Mediterranean vibe. Bois is a old favorite of mine generally used for formal events but not always.
Me too. I really enjoy this fragrance.
Yes, I received mine today also. A very rare 10%. Making me ponder. Sad the exchange rate has jumped from 1.08 to 1.13 just recently.
Hunkered down due to my home town being snowy white and difficult to navigate outside. I thought to revisit this one today and I must say this scent has awakened my senses anew. This is much better...
For First in Fragrance customs in NY seems to be the problem with my shipments being sent timely. If it travels through through Miami it generally takes only10 days to a fortnight.
You just can't beat them for Giorgio Armani Prive, Amouage, Mancera, Chanel and other gems. However, like any vendor you have to watch as Memo and Dior Prive seem much more expensive.
Excellent read indeed, on one of my favorite perfumers. Thanks Yarn.
Another great selection pool. Very interested in your findings. Especially on the reformulated Amouages
Again, another short limited edition of 50 bottles only via Bruno's website per e-mail today. If anyone missed the boat last month.
I have to put it in the great category. I have really taken to this one lately.
I love Red Vetyer it has monster longevity. Very similar to TDH.
Well if it has the same pedigree as Kalemat I'm in.
Yes I agree. Tobacco Blaze for one is another excellent scent from Rasasi
Sad they have fallen from grace recently. My last purchase from them didn't get filled when they had what seemed like plenty of stock. I haven't returned since. But in the past they have been fine.
The Baron was another a girlfriend loved smelling on me at the time.
Always around work two younger sharp ladies remark on when I wear Silver Mountain Water. A additional benefit of enjoying one of my most used scents. Uplifting may be a better word.
Saville Row by Richard James and the aforementioned Murdock's Black Tea are two of my favorites. Trumper's Sandlewood is another with fine pedigree.
Ormonde Jayne are nice but way to expensive for...
Ultime seems to me to be a little bit more refined and robust.
Yes, sounds very good.
Interlude man vintage version dry Amber so good.
Silver Mountain Water then Original Vetiver then Royal Mayfair
Opus VI is my pick.
I have the Saffron my wife the Rose. They both are excellent fragrances and at $20.00 I would stock up without a doubt.
Thanks for the information and I will be eager to wait for any news you may have.
Wow! Brought back a old thread that is so relevant to me at the moment. I have samples of most Malles and trying them during the evening hours to choose which will be full bottle worthy. VE is in my...
I believe you. A different dynamic in the Great White North. Layer up my friend.
Yes it does. Actually, a little nippy today after the rain. Office friendly favorite.
Same with me. Actually, my wife likes on me as much as she enjoys it. I believe all Amouage are really targeted unisex.
Yes, it is a wonderful scent.
I prefer Lyric Woman over Man it is a absolute stunner.
Also, Perfum Caligraphy Rose by Aramis sadly just discontinued is one to try as it ticks all the boxes.
Slumberhouse seem to deep discount around this time. I believe Matriach and some of the Indies do too. Also, some of the bigger stores like Nieman Marcus have enticing sales. Good thread for updates.
Azure just doesn't get the love does it. Absolute the middle eastern black top version seems nice to me.
Royal Oud isn't a regular wear for me. I like it only in certain situations. Nice but not a masterpiece.
Agree. Love the EDT.
Good to know. I always wondered.
So far HDP 1740
Like most but Plum Japonais is my single fixation.
Original Vetiver and Silver Mountain Water for Creed.
Interlude Man and Opus VI for Amouage.
Mancera Sand Aoud you don't need Oud Shamash The Different Company
Yes, I am turning samples in Full bottles. Staying power is excellent.
Well I hope Bruno has a relevation on this one. Practice makes perfect.
Mazzolari Lui not being mentioned was a absolute crime. Definitely, top 500 in my book. Surprised no Mancera's made the list.
Yes, I have used them on numerous occasions. Actually, their shipping time and packaging have improved immensely. I hope if you use them you receive similar treatment.
Can't wait to try this new offering. I hope the perfumer ups his game under the Malle line.
Very informative. Surprised by many thoughts by Malle. Thanks for sharing.
Always intrigued with any new offering from Malle. Happy with many offerings from this house.
I got mine form Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics and it only took 10days to ship to Tennessee . I felt like it was a great buy with only $6.75 shipping. Great fragrance you won't regret it but so...
Nice to know. I wanted a vintage version but the prices have skyrocketed. I will at least grab a newer bottle then.
So many good ambers out there. Ambre Sultan was my first love in the genre. But MPG Ambre Precieux Ultime is a great scent that I personally enjoy. Edging out Opus VI, HDP Ambre 144, Profumum Roma...
Mancera Gold Intensistive Aoud a complete surprise in a very good way.
Very nice selections in rapid time. Well done!
Tired of Aqua di Gio but the Prive line holds some stunning fragrances as mentioned above. Figiurie Eden is one that flys under the radar. Myrrhe Imperiale, Bois de Ecens, Rose D' Arabie, Oud Royal...
Love both for what they bring to the table. Pure Havane yes its a sweet take on tobacco but in a very good way. A top tobacco scent next to Herod for me. Bentley Intense is a stellar boozy concoction...
Yes I agree. I apologize to the OP I didn't notice the HDP remark.
Myself I just can't discern to much difference to pay more money for less fragrance. Sampled IB and keep going back to the HDP a...
I now have become a fanboy of Royal Mayfair. Love it.
HDP 1725 maybe not as polished as IB but certainly cheaper.
Seconded. I just received it in todays afternoon mail. Thank you Remik! Better than I expected and glad I ponied up for 50ml. As always excellent packaging the extras are very nice that you take...
Italian Cypress also.
Beautyspin. Which also has Tobacco Blaze both exceptional.
Love it. His most dynamic work to me.
Ambre Sultan and Chergui
Very nice indeed!
Moschino pour homme
Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza
Potent house. This sounds worth trying. The notes seem compelling to me.
That is excellent. Always three to four weeks for me. Mainly customs holds mine up but still worth the wait for the great prices.
Wondered about this one. Got a e-mail blurb about this new HDP. Glad you like it.
Excellent price for 4oz. No brainier in my book.
Cheaper alternative Mont Blanc Individual.
