    the current version of EDT is very good (as is the parfum and Absolute). I do prefer the vintages which are stronger in gasoline and less vanillic.

    I don't like very dry weather either and think it is poor for fragrance projection. So strike off very humid and very dry weather. The happy medium is best.

    Men today are afraid. They want the reassurance of smelling “clean”. The fragrances must be clean, aquatic, or sweet, but nothing like the complexity and development of these older powerhouses.
