Sandalwood Vanilla by White Barn/BBW.
The color and sprayer definitely look different than my bottles.
Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche > Dior Homme Sport > Chanel Allure Homme Sport.
Received a sample of the EdT from Nordstrom and it definitely reminds me of GPH II, but not Spicebomb. I love GPH II and I just ordered the 100ml HM HiM EdP from Nordstrom.
Hanae Mori HiM EdP 100ml.
Dior Homme Sport 100ml.
Spiced Apple Toddy by Slatkin & Co.
Scent description: Apple brandy, spiced plum, mulled cider, and tart cranberry.
I never came across Modern Reserve while it was in stores. I'd like to sample it, but I refuse to pay the current eBay prices. I will stick with my vintage Polo, which is a million times better than...
Just got in on a split for this one. Can't wait to sample it! :)
I blind bought Rive Gauche and while I don't detect any fecal notes in it, I highly doubt that it would make it smell any worse if it did. Awful stuff.
Aquiesse makes some fantastic candles. Hope you enjoy it!
Vintage Polo Green is so much better than the reformulated version! I wore Polo Green for many years, starting in high school in the 80's and I just can't stand to wear the reform. I have a vintage...
Cartier Declaration :)
Demon, have you had the opportunity to use that Ulta gift card yet? :)
I had the local Aveda salon replicate the Shampure scent into a personal fragrance spray. They give me a free fragrance spray every year for my birthday.
Best "spa" scent out there!!
LOL, as a fellow Star Trek nut, I can appreciate that! :D
That's the only Aramis fragrance that I've seen there too.
I'm melting wax in the fragrance of Rustic Woods, which smells almost identical to Burberry London for Men.
If you test GPH II on skin, it's a light scent so be liberal with that sprayer! :D
Love this one!
Is that the vintage or reformulated Polo Green that you're referring to?
I think they are similar in that you would wear them for the same occasions, but I feel they are very much their own fragrance in terms of smell. Definitely not redundant IMO.
I had no idea there were so many
I own #1 L'Eau d'Issey and #2 L'Eau Bleue d'Issey. I also have #3 L'Eau d'Issey Intense in shower gel.
I've grown tired of #1, feel #2 is...
I own both MIP EDP and DHI, and I think that you should be able to wear DHI under the same circumstances as you would MIP EDP. Both are fantastic scents :)
Tom Ford Extreme.
But would the woman choose a man in his 80's with Christian Dior Cologne 2013 or a man in his 20's in 2013 with cologne from the 80's? That's the real question....I think.
As for the Tsar, I was just wondering which bottle you bought as there seems to be a few different bottles out there right now, with some difference in the fragrance.
A cheapie but a goodie!! Which bottle of Tsar did you buy?
LOL, are you going to start numbering posts too?
I spotted Gucci Pour Homme II at Ulta last week....a great fragrance addition!
I noticed that it was $64.xx on Amazon a few days back too. If I didn't already have a full bottle, I would've ordered at that price!
Didn't we all bathe in it back then? Even though the vintage fragrance was better than what they are selling today, it was still strong stuff. Makes you wonder how high school class could be taught...
Avon Snoopy Cologne...not sure what the scent inside is. I still have it, stored away. Received it sometime in the mid 70's when I was like six years old or something.
I've only "hoarded" three fragrances:
Gucci Pour Homme II
Dior Homme Intense
Carrington (My beloved 80's classic)
Sounds perfect...you can keep the 1 oz bottle on you for the inevitable need for reapplying later!
I'm pretty sure that I have a sample vial of Creed MI if you'd like to sample it for free before taking the plunge. Shoot me a message if interested. I actually have a full 4 oz back-up bottle that I...
I'm in Colorado where we experience all seasons and the temps are often below 0 in the winter and above 100 in the summer!
Neroli Portofino. Before you know it, spring and summer will be here and that fragrance really shines during those seasons.
Love the Nest Bond Street Sandalwood & Sage!
The selection for today in my home is Ralph Lauren Alpine Coast, which is a poor name considering the notes consist of orange, gingerbread and nutmeg.
Stunning bottle!
The fragrance is as wonderful as the bottle IMO! :)
I also appreciate The Dreamer bottle. In fact, I've kept it even though I hate the fragrance! Eros is another Versace fragrance with...
The EdP version was my scent of the day today. Every time I wear this one I fall in love with it all over again. Such a fantastic dry down. <3
Best looking bottle in my collection too!
VC&A Midnight in Paris EDP
You've convinced me to purchase a few! I've seen that Hazelnut & Praline too - definitely not my kind of home fragrance!
TM Pure Havane on this chilly day here in Colorado.
Archipelago Bergamot Tobacco.
How are the Sir Elton John candles? I've been contemplating a purchase!
That's exactly why I decided to purchase PH. Sometimes I want that tobacco but my TV just is too much for the occasion.
Le Male should never be worn in Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. :P
Heyland & Whittle Winter Spice.
Enjoying Tom Ford Sahara Noir today.
I loved Nautica Voyage when it was first released, but quickly grew tired of it and gave the bottle to my brother.
I appreciate TF Neroli Portofino much more during the warm months.
Tom Ford Plum Japonais today. Love it!
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille....so far.
I'd love to find the 'soot-free' Yankee candles that you seem to burn...
I think that Idole de Lubin bottle has been discontinued.
That's exactly how and where I purchased my three bottles of DHI.
That is a fantastic bottle!!
I understand that desire to obtain more bottles, but just remember that quality is always better than quantity. It's very easy when diving into the fragrance world to buy things that you will later...
Sounds like a soot nightmare! I love the ambiance of a burning candle, but after seeing how much soot was collecting in the air filters in my home (and I'm sure my lungs as well!), I stopped burning...
If the black label is bubbling and/or peeling, it's real. ;)
My top 5 Tom Fords, in no particular order:
How many Yankee candles does it take to "fill the house" with aroma? I have trouble with a single room being scented with many of their scents, including Vineyard.
The selection for today was Ralph Lauren Holiday Spice.
Spray for me except in one case: Old Spice Fresh Lime. Splash all the way on that one baby!!
I do believe that you have more fragrances than posts!
Incredible gift!! Since I'm single at the moment, I bought myself fragrance for Christmas:
Tom Ford Sahara Noir
Tom Ford Plum Japonais
I need to check out Tobacco Oud...
3 sprays for me: chest and each wrist.
Having worked in retail years ago, I've seen more shoplifters that are adults and have the money to pay for the item(s) than I ever did teenagers and 'poor people.'
I like the scent but don't wear it very often. I have a 100ml bottle and I've only worn it like 3 or 4 times. Don't need any backup bottles on this one.
Well now that I've ordered the 50ml, the 100ml should be available shortly. ;-)
That made me chuckle :)
Love that bottle but I've never sampled the fragrance.
Haha...those are my two WORST blind buys!
Well that didn't take me long. Just ordered Plum Japonais from Nordstrom with free Christmas Eve delivery! Just wish that Tom Ford had released PJ in a 3.4 oz/100 ml size to match my other TF Private...
Carrington. Seriously, give it a try.
I have Tom Ford Sahara Noir on the way from Nordstrom. I'm thinking about buying Tom Ford Plum Japonais before the end of the month.
Hednic - what are the numbers that are always at the bottom of your posts?
Apple & Brandy? Interested!
Completely agree. One of the worst soot offenders on the candle market!
I don't buy any Yankee wax products anymore.

Although, I may be tempted buy that scent. I love...
In the kitchen I've got some Orange Spiced Tea wax melting and in my den I have Warm Pipe Tobacco burning.

Even on the cabbage-less days, simmering spices can really hit...
Givenchy Play Intense.
I own both and I would go with Boss Bottled considering the time of year.
I won't be buying either of those...they are guilty by association!
Joop Homme and Thallium. One spray of either and the chunks begin their journey....
Old thread, I know, but I didn't want to create yet another.
Thallium is my most recent blind buy. I don't blind buy often, but when a 3.3 oz bottle costs $15 shipped, it makes little sense to...
I've recently sampled this and a full bottle is on my list to buy next month. The drydown is the best part IMO.
I did a blind buy on this based on the hype last year. When it arrived, I was so excited to give it a try and when I did, I wasn't in love with it. After wearing it a few times, I grew to love...
It was a bit warm here today so I thought I would get in another Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche wearing while I could!
I'm against labeling scents as belonging to certain age groups. I say buy a cheap sample decant of each and find out! DHI is one of my favorite fragrance experiences. Good luck!
GPH II gets my vote. Now if they would just release an extreme version....
I'm just curious if there are any others here that have a fragrance or two that you don't particularly like (or outright hate), but you keep it in your collection because the bottle is beautiful?
Now that I've sampled, these two are next up on my purchase list:
Plum Japonais by Tom Ford
Sahara Noir by Tom Ford
I bought TI last year a week or so after buying SDV. While I prefer SDV, I think they are both fantastic fragrances!
Carrington by Charles of The Ritz. 1980's baby!
TM Pure Malt
That's where I bought mine a while back and they didn't include any samples. At the time, they didn't have the 3.4 so I purchased two of the 1.7. I guess I'm not sample worthy!
10-12 sprays of Gucci Pour Homme II...and it still didn't last long enough. :(
