I don't think it smells like Sauvage or Bleu at all.

I don't think it smells like Sauvage or Bleu at all.
The new version of Pour Femme smells nothing like the original from the 90s.
They certainly fine tuned Pour Homme which resembles its first incarnation but the current Pour Femme is basically a...
I adore Plus Plus, Zero Plus and Fuel For Life.
Fuel For Life flew off the shelves when it was launched 9 years ago. Previously Diesel fragrances were bargain priced. But with FFL they were selling...
Allbeauty are selling the 100ml bottle. They've had it in stock for a few months.
The recent Cavalli fragrances for women have been lovely so hopefully this will be nice. Having said that I won't hold my breath considering how average the new Just For Men was...
I like the Intense version.
Will it be much more expensive as a Prive line?
This is the relaunched version from 2012.
L'eau and Elixir.
I have owned both. The women's version I feel I much, much better. I can't speak for the vintage but IMO the current womens Obsession is wonderful.
Diesel Plus Plus is my favourite scent ever.
I bought Reveal for Men - I like it a lot.
It's definitely been reformulated. My bottle from 2014 smells the same but is short lasting and doesn't project much.
Spark is pretty nice. It has a rum aroma. Liquer-like. Maybe a hint of amaretto too. Its soft and cosy. It works best in winter IMO. Its not a compliment getter though.
I can't bear oud.
Silver Shadow Altitude is very nice.
Yep, Pozo In Black is very nice.
I guess so. It has a subtle spicey and rubbery smell that could allude to wasabi.
I tried this today. It's in Boots in the UK. It's a bland and barely-there scent. Smells of very little. It's a skin scent only with zero projection. It is reminiscent of Dunhill X-Centric.
I think this myself sometime. I like Hugo Just Different. Hugo Boss tend to release a men's fragrance each year. But I think it was only 9 months after Just Different that they released Hugo Red for...
I have 6 unopened bottles of the Tom Ford Gucci Pour Homme. The Pour Homme from 2008/Frida can't compare.
I like the Diamonds Men range.
I loved ADG years ago but I won't buy the current version as it performs so badly on me.
Yves or the Lacoste.
I like it. It's not fabulous but it's good.
I'd prefer it if they relaunched Absolute.
The men's version has no wrapping so perhaps not.
I generally like sweet scents. I own Britney's Fantasy for example.
You should avoid:
Only The Brave
Dunhill Desire Blue
Mont Blanc Legend and...
Truth for men is great. My favourite CK.
I enjoy Escape and Obsession for men.
Obsession for women is fabulous. I wear it more than the men's.
Euphoria for women is lovely.
The minute Coty got...
I have it and whilst it smells nice it is one of the worst performing scenes I own. Terrible longevity and projection, sadly.
Obsession but Lagerfeld is very nice as well.
I think it's a brilliant fragrance but I don't have it in my collection as the current version has bad performance. Pre-2006 it was my most-worn cologne.
I tried it today. Smells current/modern. Smells like the lovechild of Dunhill Icon and Paco Invictus. It didn't do much for me.
It's on allbeauty:
I think it's disgusting. Really horrible.
I don't think Azure smells like Aventus at all. I think Azure smells like Bogart Silver Scent.
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme.
Coty seem to water down men's scents. I'm a fan of Boss Bottled so think I'll buy some in case Coty tinker with it.
Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme.
Both are nice. Intense is a nice variant but I prefer the original.
I love London. I don't want them to discontinue that!
OP, did you mistake Joop Homme for Joop Nightflight?
It has gone up in price in the UK now. Allbeauty don't stock it anymore and neither do my local pharmacies. It used to be widely available for £9.99 but now it's closer to £20 on eBay. I think all...
I liked it. But I think the original Bottled is better.
I own the new formulation. It's definitely thinner than it used to be. It's no projection beast but it stays on my skin for 6-8 hours. I'll get wafts of it a long time after application.
I like it. It's less powdery and less sweet than the original. It's not stronger. A much better flanker than the terrible Night and Sport versions.
90% seems a bit odd. It doesn't say Lancaster either.
I'd just buy ones that you like the smell of. If it's a designer so be it. If it's niche so be it. I don't own a single niche and am very happy with my designer collection.
It's a lot different to the scents they were releasing ten years ago. Icon is nothing like the playful and garish Desire, X-Centric or Pure. Icon is a well blended, formal, civilised and gentlemanly...
Diesel Plus Plus
Diesel Zero Plus
Calvin Klein Truth
Laura Biagotti Roma Uoma.
Davidoff Silver Shadow Altitude.
Calvin Klein Obsession Woman.
Will look forward to trying this. I liked the original but now prefer the Intense version.
This is for sale to UK buyers at allbeauty.com.
I went into Debenhams and asked if they had it and the rep said he'd never heard of it. I showed him it on my phone. He then got out CK's...
Alain Delon fragrances.
Sean John Unforgivable for Men
Britney Spears Fantasy.
Jennifer Lopez Glow.
David Beckham Intimately Women.
Madonna Truth or Dare.
Jade Goody Shhh!
I think this smells like a wet dog.
Excellent company. I've never had a problem with them and I've used them for six years now.
Fuel For Life.
I think it's lovely.
I think it's very nice. Reminds me of cherry tobacco. The original's DNA is in there but it's subtle. It's a good winter fragrance.
I like it. But It's a bit stuffy and formal. Makes me think of Sundays (odd I know).
I think L'eau Azzaro is perfect for summer.
+1. I think it's a very good all rounder. Suitable for many different occasions.
I recommend London, Black, 51.3N, Desire, Desire Blue and Man (brown juice with off-set sprayer).
London is my favourite. I love it.
Lacoste L12 White.
I've bought several and have been very impressed. I prefer the edt to the oils.
One Man Show.
I think Unforgivable is back in production. Allbeauty.com have it back in stock.
Bogart Silver Scent is sweet and gum-like. Has a grape and raspberry smell to it.
You know what I mean!
It definitely smells like the original version but seems stripped of some notes. A synthetic plasticy note is dominant. I think it is pretty horrible.
How many threads have there been on this subject now?
The Gucci is brilliant. I have several backup bottles.
It's very nice. It does smell like L'Homme parfum.
I hope it's reminiscent of the old version of pour Homme...
Diamonds for Men.
Gucci PH I
Azzaro Homme Elixir.
The Original XS.
I think it smells like XS.
Adventure is bland and I actually think unpleasant.
Silver Shadow reminds me of Boss Bottled with strong orange and juniper notes.
Silver Shadow Altitude is much nicer. A convincing zesty and fresh...
Light Blue for women is very good and much much better than the drab men's version. Just buy the women's version!
The top notes are similar to Dior Homme. Then it RAPIDLY dries down into a sweet and powdery amber - reminding me of Boss Bottled. It's nothing to get excited about and in line with recent CKs it...
The bottle looks clumsy.
Neither smell like the original. I don't like the original. I do like Just Different and own a small bottle. It gets compliments.
I think there was a thread several years ago that talked about this. It linked to an official Escada page which said Escada were discontinuing all their men's fragrances due to market and financial...
I think it has been changed. My new bottle doesn't last long on me.
Black has definetly changed. I couldn't smell the marzipan anymore. I sniffed 1881 original after and it smells weaker to me, so I would say both have been reformulated.
Because it is bland and has poor longevity.
I thought it was horrible. Pour Homme and its recent flankers like L'Eau and Elixir are nicer. They should push those more. I expect Decibel's bottle was one reason it failed.
I think it's lovely. Be careful on the trigger though - it packs a punch!
I'll just write post deleted.
My edit button won't doesn't have a delete option.
I did a search on how to delete a post but there doesn't seem to be one.
Iceberg have fragrance called 74 with a range of flankers.
I don't think either are summery fragrances. But in any case I think 1 Million is way better than VPH. The Versace to me is just a middling orange scent. It has little character IMO.
As for summer...
