Bond No. 9 Eau de New York
Comes with cap and original packaging.
Yves Saint Laurent - M7 Oud Absolu
Bond No. 9 - Bleeker St.
Love both but I think I like Amber more.
Rose 31 is probably the best one, so you might as well try it so people will stop telling you to try it. :-p Patchouli is reminiscent of Bulgari Black after an hour or so. The first hour wasn't so...
Musc Ravageur is the best in my opinion, VE is good too. I haven't tried very many, but I also haven't really tried a bad one. I guess French Lover appealed to me the least.
As I was reading through this, I saw that there was a sample of VE being given away, and I was preparing myself to send a pm
Then I saw it was five years ago... >_<
A*Men Pure Malt
Go to target.com and search for "pepper spray."
Now I've never tried Usher by Usher so I cant comment, but it can't be THAT bad, right? :p
I don't remember what the worst would be because whatever it is is loooooong gone.
The best thing I've bought blind is YSL - M7 Fresh
Creed - Green Irish Tweed
A*Men Pure Malt
Ashes to ashes.
Your reviews were fantastic, but life goes on.
Ordered samples from Luckyscent:
CdG X Stephen Jones
M. Micallef - Patchouli
Heeley - Cuir Pleine Fleur
Heeley - Spirit of the Tiger
I'm on a violet kick recently... and i love the smell...
Thierry Mugler - B*Men
Bought a mini 7.5 ml spray of the new Prada - L'Eau Ambree online. Amber + Patchouli + Typical Prada soapy/clean accord = the makings of an awesome scent in my book.
The Body Shop - White Musk for Men
Narciso Rodriguez for Him just screams purple grey. Like the color of the bottle mixed with purple.
Bought a bottle of Narciso Rodriguez For Him Musc Oil online. I await its arrival with baited breath.
At least you can take solace in the fact she's now considerably poorer because of you. I kinda wanna try some Carnal Flower now too, I've heard good things.
B*Men is awesome. For the longest time I couldn't draw any connections between it and A*Men and then one day I was wearing it and BAM! I suddenly got it. I definitely wouldn't call it a gourmand...
Fahrenheit Absolute. I'm really liking this, it's a pity I haven't actually smelled the original Fahrenheit so I have no basis for comparison... >_<
Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver gave me the same overall vibe I got from TdH so I'd check that one out.
Cheering for the Pats or the Colts?
Prada Infusion d'Homme
Here's a pic:
Jeans are Nudie Thin Finn in Black Coated
Shirt is from American Eagle
GIT. 'nuff said
Narciso Rodriguez For Him
Bright sunny day calls for Mugler Cologne
Prada Infusion D'Homme
Black graphic tee
Grey Rock and Republic jeans
Black onitsuka tigers
10 Deep Paddington Plus hoody in navy
GIT is my favorite scent ever, but honestly I like SMW more. I like the smell of SMW more, but GIT is just so much more versatile.
Full of disgusting axe and old spice spray on can bullshit. Thankfully those dark days are over, though girls my age seemed to like them back then... No accounting for taste I suppose
Hermes - Terre D'Hermes EdP from a sample
Agree with this. It has everything that made the original great and it just made it smoother.
B*Men. It's crazy, I've worn it a ton of times but until today I didn't get ANY similarities between it and A*Men and then all of a sudden today, bam! I spray it on and I totally get the...
Purple Bape t-shirt
Nudie Thin Finn jeans
Onitsuka tiger sneakers
I'd throw up a pic but i don't have a good mirror where I am
Chalk up one more vote for M7 Fresh. If you read the reviews, lots of people say it smells like Fruit Loops, which is the same smell as Fruity Pebbles (a favorite cereal of mine).
Bleecker Street by Bond No. 9
Fresh Cannabis Santal has the whole rose and chocolate going on. I wouldn't go so far as to say rose is THE MAIN note, but it's certainly noticeable enough to clearly identify it.
I like TV more, though I feel as though I'll probably end up in the minority here.
I smell nothing similar in them. One of them (Oud) is revolting and unpleasant in all but it's final stages, whereas the other (SfH) is one of the most fantastic scents I've ever encountered. I'm...
I guess I'll be the first person to toss out L'Instant Extreme. The gourmand part makes it interesting, but it's not as outlandish as something like A*Men. It doesn't strike me as the type of scent...
I just want to know what Tom Brady wears... hopefully not Stetson.
Tried Guerlain - L'Instant Pour Homme Extreme/EdP/whatever other names there are for it.
This solved one of the problems I had with the original L'Instant, namely that it smelled very synthetic to...
Bleecker St is far and away my favorite.
The old womens bottles are hands down better for me, but I'm split on the men. I like the old reflection and the new gold.
Wearing basketball shorts and the tshirt that the student section for my college wears for football games, since I'm going to it later today.
Fresh Cannabis Santal. Fantastic Stuff.
I bought a 5ml decant of Fahrenheit Absolute. I'm excited to try it.
The notes actually sound very promising. But even if it smelled good, what would you say to a pretty woman who asked you what you were wearing?
"Excuse me, but you smell wonderful, what is that?"...
I sampled it and didn't much care for it, so if you would like my sample, PM me!
I blind bought L'Instant, I thought it was ok, it had a lot of potential but the execution wasn't what it could've been. It is a sweet scent though, not quite as bad as The One or Dior Homme, but my...
Sample of the day (or rather, a few days ago) was the infamous Muscs Koublai Khan by Serge Lutens.
After applying it with great trepidation, I was utterly left in shock with what I smelled. Did...
I bought RG blind and I liked it. I don't especially care for Black one way or the other. I don't know if I'd call RG a safe blind buy, but it's also dirt cheap online so it's not like you'll be...
Pops doesn't wear any cologne. My mom uses Vera Wang - Princess (she used to use some estee lauder, cant remember the name)
Most things with Oud don't smell good on my skin but smell fantastic drifting off me. M7 is the exception to this. Le Labo's Oud 27 is the prime example of this for me though. When I push my nose...
Agreed. Nasomatto Silver Musk is underrated though.
(Is patiently waiting for his sample of MKK to come in the mail)
Only one scent has done this to me: L'Artisan - Voleur de Roses
I was just starting to get into niche when I first smelled this and it literally blew away my conceptions of what perfume could be....
I ordered three samples from TPC:
Guerlain - L'Instant Pour Homme EDP (or extreme, whatever they call it)
Guerlain - Spiritueuse Double Vanille
Serge Lutens - Muscs Koublai Khan
I used to...
M7, but I haven't smelled Extreme yet
I've got both and I prefer MR for what it's worth. It's the more interesting scent in my opinion. Women have liked it more on me as well.
Curses! No Saks in Utah. Any chance they offer this for sale on their website?
Where can such a thing be purchased? I would buy this blind if I could just find a source.
I"ll try and answer stuff no one's mentioned before but I think is amazing
Daytime: Creed - Silver Mountain Water
Nighttime: Tom Ford - Oud Wood
Oddball: L'Artisan - Patchouli Patch
MR and GIT are probably my first two choices, and for my third, I need something that just screams "GREEN" so it would probably be Mugler Cologne.
M7 is the better scent anyway, and it's much much cheaper so you should pick up a bottle if you can.
Infusion d'Homme lasts a good amount of time but the sillage is pretty low. It's more of a skin scent, even in the heat.
Amber PH has excellent sillage. It projects a clean, sweet soapy aura...
This is just begging for a scent split. Frankly, I'm excited.
The Body Shop - White Musk For Men
They have it at Nordstroms here in Utah, so I'd imagine it would be at all Nordstroms at this point. My initial thoughts on it was that it's nice, but nothing outstanding. I agree Asha's assessment...
Creed - GIT in the morning
L'Artisan - Patchouli Patch for the night
When I tested L'eau de Issey, it gave me a migraine and I had to wash it off, at which point my headache subsided. I haven't tried it since.
Is this comparable in any way to Tom Ford's Oud Wood? I'm really enjoying my sample of the TF right now, so when I think of oud and woods combined, this is what I think of. It's also incredibly...
Green Irish Tweed
Probably one of the few people in the world to rock Bape and Serge Lutens at the same time, no small feat.
I'm really liking GStar a lot right now, got a couple of their jackets, they look...
L'Artisan - Patchouli Patch
My favorite Patchouli, about time I finally got some
Green Irish Tweed for sure. The epitome of a classy scent that can be worn anytime, anywhere.
To the women who say they like chest hair on guys: out of curiosity, how old are you? I know it's ungentlemanly to ask a woman to reveal her age, but I get the sense that women who grew up in the...
Got five samples from Luckyscent:
Diptyque - L'Eau de Tarroco
Diptyque - Oyedo
Diptyque - Tam Dao
ELDO - Eloge du Traitre
Amouage - Lyric for Men
Let me know how you like this, I've been thinking about getting one but I wanna know how it smells and how much of a room it can infuse with scent.
YSL - M7 Fresh
Out of all the ones you listed I like Curion the most. Dzongkha was TERRIBLE on me, one of the few times I've actually had to scrub it off me, that's how bad it smelled on me.
I agree with this. I think lots of people are quick to dismiss it because it's a designer frag that came out in the last couple years, it's the follow up to a much hyped and loved scent here, and...
Got my bottle of The Body Shop's White Musk For Men today from a fellow BN'er. Great cheap scent, considering I don't have the money for Silver Musk.:(
Geir Ness - Geir
Gucci Pour Homme II
I second this. H&M is faaaaaantastic, excellent clothing there. GQ routinely recommends their dress shirts.
(Though probably not every day... only cold days)
Voleur de Roses with Passage d'Enfer a close second.
Helmut Lang - Cuiron Pour Homme
