    Re: Booze, smoke and leather

Was just about to recommend Tom Ford Extreme.... redolent of whiskey, open fires and a leather armchair
  2. Re: Which Scent has a lot of Booze in it? Rum,Gin,Whiskey You name it Baby..

TF Extreme has a real air of single malt by the fireside in a leather armchair, possibly in a wood pannled gents club.

Re: 'Summer' frag recommendation for 40+ man

I own AdP Colonia, and the longevity is not great to be honest. If you just want to wear it for an evening it's fine, but for all day you'll need to refresh.

Terre D'hermes might be a better bet,...

Re: 'Summer' frag recommendation for 40+ man

If you do decide to go with a Creed fragrance, definitely check out Kron's splits on the split forum. I just bought both Aventus and MI in 50ml decants from him, and the price combined with smaller...

Re: Fresh and elegant scent to wear to work

I find TDH a duration monster, particularly the parfum.. 12 hours easy, althugh the projection isn't huge. The EDT doesn't last as long, but projects more.

Re: Fresh and elegant scent to wear to work

I would describe neither LIDGE nor Td'H as "fresh". Whilst they both have citrussy notes in them, they are combined with rich, bitter Coco in LIDGE and smoky woods in Td'H, both of which strike me...

    Re: LIDGE vs LIDGEDT dilema

If i had tried and liked the EDT, that's exactly what I would have done- It's just the risk of opening the package and finding it a complete letdown compared to the extreme.

    I'll probably lay...

    Re: LIDGE vs LIDGEDT dilema

Well my dilemma resolved itself this morning.

My girlfriend came up to me with the box saying she is pretty sure she's bought the wrong bottle, and would be sending it back.

Re: Terre d'Hermès vs Terre d'Hermès Parfum

What's the consensus on layering these together?

Or even mixing in a travel dispenser? Would that be the equivalent of mixing wines in your glass?
