I'd have to agree that Dior has some really good colognes, even though I feel like Fahrenheit is the only one I really like enough to consider getting a bottle of. I can see why others like the a lot...

  87. Re: Fractionated Coconut Oil vs. Capric/Caprylic Triglyceride

Are you planning on using the Oil as the actual Solvent/Carrier in place of Ethanol, or Solubilizing the MCT's in Ethanol as a Co-solvent?

I've seen Joop! uses some Surfactants and wanted to know...

This stuffs pretty good. After trying it more and not having much left I'm considering maybe getting a bottle...
  89. Re: What fragrance(s) are you looking forward to trying?

    Creed Millésime Impérial:
Seen some comparisons of Invictus Legend to this one, which supposedly has a really nice melon note.

Didn't like the original but its possible I'd...

Does that actually have Capsaicin in it? Seems like you'd need to wear Gloves & Glasses while trying to use it until its at a low concentration in the blend. Might give more effects without changing...

Citronellic Acid, Citral, Citronellol, Geranial, Geraniol & Neral all have very similar chemical structures, and therefore likely provide similar effects and smells. You might personally find one...

For the warmer feel, some chemicals you might already have that might be worth trying:

    Citral
    Citronellol
    Eugenol
    Geranial
    Geraniol
    Ginger Oil
    Neral

    Powdery Accord

Trying to create a Powdery Note, and I have a list of some supposed "Powdery" scented chemicals I may try to achieve this accord:

    Anisaldehyde
    Anisyl Alcohol
    Citronellol

Looks nice, I have a sample of the EDT that I don't use much, seems a bit strong, maybe the Eau Fraiche would be more suitable though.

  97. Re: Name the fragrance you tried/smelled today for the first time.

Invictus & Invictus Aqua 16' are my favorites, worth a try. IMO Legend isn't as good as those, but its most likely better than Invictus Intense & has more originality than Invictus Aqua 18'.

    I'll...

    Update on Invictus Legend

Now I can smell the Floral Geranium like notes. The floral smell is more light than heavy, and blended nicely, overall aroma still smells like freshly cut melon.
  100. Re: Name the fragrance you tried/smelled today for the first time.

    Invictus Legend:
Melon with a little sea salt & spice. Fresh, not too sweet, just sweet enough to smoothen everything. You could overspray this and not be overpowering IMO. Might have sprayed 15...
