For the moment I think they have no distribution yet, you can simply write them a mail via their website ( http://www.rubiniprofumi.com/ ).
If anyone's interested, here's my take on this fragrance:
Eau de Gloire, Cuir Ottoman, Musc Tonkin for me!
Frapin's Passion Boisée.
Don't think so.
P.S. Atramental is really nice.
I've been personally offered to buy bottles with a heavy discount - distributor's price, basically - from a brand, but I am not sure whether that would be officially allowed (I doubt that). I mean...
I had the EXACT same feeling! Just to be polite and do a bit of conversation I tried to comment the fragrances while sniffing them, she looked at me as if I was a talking Muppet, just showing me that...
A lovely and passionate guy, and a terrifically solid scent. I really wish him to get some international distribution!
One of the standouts for me at Milan's tradeshow Esxence. A really solid and grounded concept revolving around a sort of "contemporary gothic" inspiration (I mean the Medieval concept of gothic),...
Nope, the brand is "Pierre Guillaume". I tried them all today - a surprsingly solid line.
Remarkable People is actually far from being remarkable, sadly. :D It's basically a short-lasting and inoffensive fizzy citrusy thingy, quite far from the brand's style and aesthetics (and that's the...
Actually I have to admit the three new ones by Le Galion aren't that bad, especially an extrait I have not been told the name of. Cuir is nice but it kind of reminded me of Aigner's Black (some...
I have a tester of Tobacco Vanille I got in Italy which looks like those below. After several and thorough side-by-side comparisons with a Tobacco Vanille bottle on display at 10 Corso Como, Milano,...
Le Galion perfumes are obnoxious, they did a terrible job with their "heritage". There's surely better exhibitors to give your time to. :D
I agree, the vintage version is incredible, but the concept of this scent is so good that even the current one is really nice!
Essenza del Tempo by Trussardi, Rochas Lui!
JS Man ("Pure) from 1981, Feeling Man, Scent 79, Background, vintage Sun (for women) and JS Sander Man from 2007 are all more than worth owning.
Me too, I know the guy and I am pretty sure the stuff is legit, Many here bought from him. The stuff is just ultra cheap - simply because he gets bottles directly from some distributor, I guess...
I find it fantastic, albeit too expensive - I waited for a nice deal (half bottle, half the price :D)
I think I agree with this, if I got the point right. I got several vintage bottles which I could have kept if I would have wanted to, but I sold them instead precisely for that reason. I can't stand...
It's not niche, not at all - Caraceni is serious quality, David, please. :D It's just discontinued, that's why it is hard to find. Normal-average perfume shops stocked it (in Italy, at least) - they...
I haven't tested this properly yet, but at a quick sniff, I don't like it. First because it's again just another variation on a chypre structure, and honestly I am starting to find this "style" more...
That's still one of my favourite masculines EVER, fantastic scent. Bravo! And welcome!
Didn't know one of my favourite actors made a cologne - must have it, thanks for bringing this up!
Looking for used bottles of Santal Noble, either partial or full. Testers/unboxed bottles are perfectly fine too.
I am open to swaps with most of the fragrances in my sales thread, and a couple of...
Easy and clean.
The only information I found is that that is an older address of Evaflor
(several records, e.g. http://www.societe.com/societe/evaflor-328581814.html > scroll down the...
Sorry, working day :(
I'll be there too - nothing in particular makes me curious, it's just free and a bunch of subway stops away from my place. :D
Nonetheless - pardon the "promotion" - a stand I'd suggest you in...
Not sure why this matter is always treated like a matter of "opinions" while all these terms have their own specific meanings.
Is it because of the tattoos? Sure I would. To be honest I would be more intimidated by someone walking a dog with no shoes.
I expected that reply, albeit "others do that" is not really an excuse, of course I don't believe anything companies say (we had Berlusconi here for 20 years, it's like liars' heaven here) , but in...
Because it's lying and mocking the intelligence of customers. I guess it's a cultural matter, but it really surprises me that there are people which are perfectly fine with the idea of a company...
Bump - couple of new bottles added.
Yeah, definitely ambergris.
But yes, pretty much that. :D
Most of niche, cheap luxury like Roja Dove, all Creed's, all worst Chanel's like Bleu or Allure, Mugler...
This extremely pleasant and classy scent. Glad I got one finally. Never been a fan of Trussardi really, but this I like it a lot.
Mixed mainstream & vintage plunge.
Michel Almairac: Bottega Veneta EDP, Gucci pour Homme, Rochas Lui
Christopher Sheldrake: Fumerie Turque, Daim Blond, Muscs Koublai Khan
Jacques Polge: Tiffany for Men, Chanel Antaeus, Chanel...
I still clearly have in my memory the moment I bought (one bottle, obviously...) M7 for like 15 EUR at a mall's sale back in 2002-2003.
How long have you been into fragrances? I think any fan experiences a period of "enthusiasm", then you'll naturally start to buy less and less once you focus on what you like - and you realise you...
Vintage Eau Sauvage, Bottega Veneta pour Homme, Jil Sander Man (2007).
From a decant,
They stock some here
I have just applied a dab of this and I think I'll have to revisit my review of this - it's actually not that bad. Still a bit "meh" though.
No. Amouage maybe did; Creed may only dream of making something half as good and money-worthy as Dior Homme Intense.
Really like that one, a more than remarkable patchouli for a ridicolously cheap price!
Gucci pour Homme II
Lanvin Arpège pour Homme
Paul Smith London
Although I think there is no possible comparison as a lot of variables change, my candidates would be:
Guerlain's Mouchoir de Monsieur
Hermès Bel Ami
Slumberhouse's Sadanne is surely the most genius fruity scent ever made so far - not necessarily the "best" one all considered.
Mh... a wealthy man, a "cheap-luxury" bottle, his name on it, some mediocre juice inside, where did I saw this already?
It surely happens and in more than half of the cases it is completely unrelated to actual quality (so either great scents sell for pennies, and "barely nice" ones for gold).
Any fragrance gets reformulated at some point throughout the years, regardless of ownership matters... plus it's only financial/holding stuff. I wouldn't care that much!
For me, neutral is "meh" - boringly decent, acceptably mediocre, that whole grey area of couldn'tcarelessness :D Personally it helps to give scents a "rating" - so anything between 5,5 to 6,5 goes in...
Three nice discontinued gems. Magnetism for Man is just crazy.
Not sure why I did not mention Jacques Polge - and I would also add Michel Almairac, Antoine Maisondieu, Christine Nagel, Gerard Anthony.
This nice cheapo.
I do that all the time too, but I believe Great Britain suffers from particularly severe regulations (most probably they're the only ones following them strictly :D)
I think it would turn out as a creative way to waste something so precious (and costly) as the original M7.
(I had this on sale but decided to keep it,...
Amber Wood is nothing similar to Gucci pour Homme. It's basically a really dry, dark and stern leathery-woody - and kind of "oudish" - scent. I can send you a sample of that if you want to test...
I don't get any similarity with Gucci pour Homme 2 honestly. Nemo is quite a unique "oddity" which doesn't really resemble to pretty much anything else.
Ever thought about not dealing with it and just grab & spray whatever you feel? :D
I find this line cheap and negligible to say the least - especially the leathers. Americans, support your local indie houses! :D
Try contact them. https://www.facebook.com/vbrandgroup/photos/a.1545959908988274.1073741829.1545942348990030/1555134468070818/?type=1&permPage=1
Carven Homme. Really similar (and superior, if you want my opinion).
I was reading this:
and realised pretty much all posts are a sort of obsessive, stalking-like bashing of this other blog:
You mean the Jazz Prestige? I already love that scent, this was just a lucky ass back-up I found. :D It's a spicier & "crisper" version of Jazz basically!
This (copycat) gem!
A friend just gifted me another bottle of this - I can finally bath in this!
