    SS has definitely improved over time, that urine smell is still there in the opening though (my OH described it is cat urine the other day), it really shines in the dry down.

    I think the drydown is very similar to the original, the opening and heart of Black Iris is where the real difference is. But the differences are not huge.

    I wouldn't recommend London Oud. If you are looking for a true oud and lavender, it does not get any better than Mr. Bojnokopff's Purple Hat. Also try Chopard Oud Malaki for something cheaper.

    No Eau Sauvage vibe. It's not a standard vetiver fragrance, it is a green, mossy, wet vetiver, coupled with galbanum, ivy, oakmoss, mint. Think forest, not beach.
