    Re: Long lasting edt

The problem is that fresh/clean scents naturally last less than heavy scents just because of the notes they use in them. Fruit, citrus and aquatic notes never make it as far as notes like sandlewood...
  2. Re: What other Company is comparable to Creed?

Something to remember with comparisons, and especially Creed, is that price and quality are for rough comparison only. If you were to compare just retail prices for quality than creed would shine far...
  3. Re: Fragrances that saw me through hot & muggy wea

Two great citrus/mint fragrance that it will never get too hot for are, Selection Verte (orange/mint) and Escade Light Silver (grapefruit/mint).

    Re: Acier Aluminum

I recieved and tried a sample a while back of AA. I concur with those who say it can be too sweet, it was at least for me. I really didn't pick up too much vanilla, but plenty of amber. Amber wasn't...

Re: Which $25.00 (or less) fragrance ?

I bought Iceberg Twice for my brother for a birthday present a while back. I remember him liking it enough to wear it here and there. I've never stolen a decant from it so I haven't had the chance to...

  7. Re: Looking for something woody, spicy, floral.

I used to own fahrenheit, and while it is for sure woody and floral, it isn't very spicy. It is almost "sticky" sweet on a hot day. I ended up not being to get over that and sold it.

  8. Got my cK one summer, lets turn up the heat

I was at the mall yesterday and I picked up a bottle of this, and boy do I love it. Orange on the top with subdued floral at the base. Longevity is anything special but in the coming summer heat it...

Re: ladies, your favourites if you please?

First off, I'm a guy. But my top 3 "lady killers" are Original Vetiver by creed, The Dreamer by Versace, and Rive Gauche by YSL. I get lot's of compliments off these, but more importantly from women...
  11. Re: Anyone want to make a few suggestions for me?

    I'll give it a shot.

For a nice fresh scent that falls into the anti-fragrance catagory try Thierry Mugler cologne. It's light fresh and mildly green.

Another good one you might want to try is...

    Re: Creed Original Vetiver

Probably your 2 best choices would be either www.perfumebay.com or ebay. Price wise ebay would probably get you the better deal.

Re: leather fragrances - advice needed

Leather an me have never agreed, but if we did I'd probably wear Wicked by the goth rosary. It is leather/tobacco and is worth a try if that's what your looking for. Her scents are non-alcoholic so...

    Re: Lighter orientals?

Have you tried Allure Sport? I just got it and love it. It is a borderline oriental and semi-gourmand with a strong vanilla note. Even though it is a "sport" version I'd hardly consider it less than...

Re: Would You Recognize Your Own Scents?

I asked that question myself about 7-8 months ago. I've got about 30 or so bottles these days so I made a sample strip of everyone and sprayed/labeled it, then after it dried sniffed them randomly...

    Re: What says "aloof"?

I don't think I've heard this question asked before, because usually people are going after the exact opposite effect. After looking through me wardrobe I'd say the 2 most aloof scents are Rive...
  23. Re: Bulgari Blu:how longlasting do you find it to

Blv lasts 3 hours max on me, and that is 4-5 sprays of it also. Most people I've talked to get about the same longevity from it also.

Personally I've always used it as a evening scent so 3 hours...

    Re: TM Cologne's longevity

Wow, I never knew most people had such problems with it. I do 3-4 sprays and it lasts me 4-5 hours. My problem is after getting creed OV I just never seem to wear TM very much anymore.
