    one basenoter suggested I fridge the bottle and that did help reinvigorate the top notes somewhat.

    I have a 2.5 oz bottle with an 06 code on it. Got it in 2007 (from scentiments). Was happy with it. About a year later the top notes diminished. Still wearable, but the opening is degraded. ...

    Well it certainly isn't old.

    All I can say is that it has been a fairly common complaint here that the topnotes in MI degrade. By no means universal, but still it has been talked about.
