    Anyway, want to add my contrarian $0.02 to the argument -

    most often we have reformulations, but it can be maceration/ageing as well. This is more common these days. I've had countless examples...

    I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum, and it isn't that long-lasting. It starts off with strong projection for about 1-2 hours, but thereafter becomes too quiet. Longevity is average, middling. Definitely...

    Not necessarily dark-blue, but you would do well to try a bunch of perfumes from Comme des Garçons. I'd suggest Odeur 71.
