Oh snap! Thought it was DHI. Retraction: Dior Homme. Masterpiece!
I’ll do October and November and squeeze in the new Parfums de Marly before September closes out.
Herod for sure!
Burberry London and Armani Prive Myrrhe Imperiale.
Pretty much all of the veitvers. Aka: Chanel Sycomore, Grey Vetiver, FM VE, Bruno Faz, etc.
Clive Christian’s Siberian Pine I think it was. Nice for pine!
Memoir Man for sure.
TF Italian Cypress is a better rendition of Polo Green.
For free? I’d go with the Roja Dove.
Why would Dior make a 250ml bottle of Eau Sauvage? Makes no sense. I’ll believe it when I smell it.
Grey Vetiver
+1-Black Orchid. Made me sick, literally.
For sheer purposes of collecting I’d buy CC#1, but for actually smelling something I’d definitely opt for Irissss.
I’ve never smelled the original formulation of Oud Wood, but it seems like it would be a keeper. New stuff is meh!
Thanks, N.Cal!
+1-CB or TDH.
Roja Dove Elysium: smelled it on a patron at a restaurant. Nice!
Bois D’Argent
L’Homme for day and La Nuit for night.

This is the Nick Jonas who is married to Priyanka Chopra? The dude has his own perfume? Lol. Nice! :-)
I’m hoping it’s somewhat similar to an Encre Noire or a Sycomore. Bought it based on a precursory test made by a BN friend. :dankk2:
I have a 120ml bottle from 2015 and 20ml left from a 75ml bottle from 2015. Both aren’t as “full” as your older bottles, N.Cal. Nevertheless, they are “stronger” than what’s out there, currently, in...
You want to smell Aventus as it’s so nice, but the nose or olfactory fatigue kicks in too quick with Aventus! Rectify this Creed! Lol. :-)
Older is probably fuller as opposed to the VIW out now. I’m down to my last 140ml of VIW as well. Nice!
Miller Harris Vetiver Insolent to a relative’s, so she can bring it up to me, soon:
108134
Also, Iris Silver Mist by Lutens is cold and lifeless. Detached.
Diptyque: too limited though in terms of its offerings. Wish they produced more.
Star anise in Versace Man Eau Fraiche
Which Creed, N.Cal?
Thanks, Toughcool.
All Tom Fords in the “exclusive” bottles are overrated IMO.
What is this ? Wow!!
SOPFH(1.7 ounce):

For some reason, I always saw the “Hardest working man” in Hollywood to be a Bond No 9 guy. Lol.
I can’t stand Polo Green, but I love the spice accords in TF’s PA.
I was so excited to see this one for $19.99 during the heyday of my fragrance obsession. Just hope they haven’t butchered it with a newer reformulation.
#23 is such a nice vanilla, but it’s overpriced.
Thanks, N.Cal, Hednic and Mr. Prince. :dankk2:
Herod to layer with my TF TV:

:dankk2:
Thank you , Mr.P.
Thanks, Hednic. Unfortunately, it’s not out yet for testing in my neck of the woods. Can’t wait!
TF TL Intense(50ml); not the bottled pictured as that’s a store sample:107710
Does this smell like a more “masculine” version of Baccarat Rouge 540?(edp)
Dia Man(vintage) was beautiful, but it’s impossible to find now.
This! Creed feels better from a textural standpoint to me as opposed to the Mugler.
Designer and niche??? It’s all the same now to me. :lolk:
Memoir Man is nice as it has a green, semi-psychedelic feel to it. Thumbs up!
:dankk2:
Thanks, N.Cal. Btw: What do you think of Aventus Cologne as I know you are not a fan of Aventus? I’ve never smelled it yet.
Lutens La Fille de Berlin would be a mess on this shirt!
Thanks, NCal. I think I finally found THEE gardenia scent.
The Aventus Cologne(s) are gifts for friends:

1. TF Black Orchid
2. Kouros
3. POLO
Finally found a gardenia my mother loves. Ordered Gardenia Essence(30ml)by DSH Perfumes:

Dior exclusives except Cologne Royale.
Good point, N.Cal.
Clean with a warm undercurrent to me is epitomized in Creed’s Original Vetiver as you get the clean/fresh nuances in the top with a warm feeling as it dries down with its slightly soapy elements....
I thought you’d have Kiton Men on your list as well. Btw: Superb review of it which you did, BB. :dankk2:
+1-Mefisto
Nothing against OP, but it’s impossible. This is tantamount to getting a memo saying, “ The world as we know it is ending tomorrow.” Not! :-)
1. Dior Fahrenheit: simply the best perfume of all time. (Period)
2. Armani Eau Pour Homme
3. Davidoff’s Cool Water
Note: All vintage versions and not the reformulations out there in today’s...
Thanks, NCal. Yes, I went through a 5ml sample of it a few years back. I’ll never forget it as it was the first time I experienced a blood-like, metallic sensation from a fragrance. It’s cold and...
I’m surprised Guerlain’s Vetiver hasn’t been mentioned more. ?
Delete: Repeat
+1-Mancera Cedrat Boise. However , you might want to try it first as there is a distinct patchouli note in it.
Have you tried the intense version? It’s TL 2019(newer version) .
Serge Lutens Sa majeste la rose: very realistic rendition of a bouquet of roses. Surprisingly nice for this line of Serge Lutens . Slightly anemic(thin) though.
Fresh and floral is epitomized in MFK’s Acqua Universalis Forte, which is a beautiful scent. However, it’s not exactly a “masculine” scent.
Serge Lutens Santal De Mysore: was looking for the consummate Mysore sandalwood, but instead got something nauseating and borderline headache inducing in the way they merged the sweet spices and the...
I think that some of the bottles out now only in a 50ml size would look aesthetically displeasing if they were to release it in a 100ml or 120ml size. Aka: Bruno Fazzolari’s perfumes would look...
Grey Vetiver is an excellent dumb reach. I have to agree that it’s somewhat boring, but they will all be boring in due time. My vote goes to LL 22.
Terre D’Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche on the elevator .
Thanks, NCal, Mr.Prince and Hednic. I personally don’t get the Aventus/GIT associations with Kiton Men. Possibly olfactory fatigue ? The reviews of this one are all over the map. ??
I agree with you as the 120ml GIT flacons were aesthetically pleasing as well.
I miss the 75ml Creed bottles. Classic size!
The violet in Kiton for Men. Kiton for Men.
If may ask, how is the 2007 formulation different as compared to the newer reformulation? Nevertheless, nice!

My mother is in her early 70s and l know cute isn’t exactly an adjective to delineate a smell but to me she smells cute. We will all have the honor of obtaining eldership if we are lucky IMO. Thanks...
It looks as though Kitty will be fine . Yay!!

Creed Aventus
I love Grey Vetiver in both iterations(edt and edp) over all of the more exclusive brown bottles.
+1-The Versace . It comes alive in the heat in the summers.
As my my dad tells me ,”Soldier on!” Hope what could have beeb a semi-traumatic event(to some) hasn’t steered you away from perfumes. Who gives a flying F as to what they think, K2Shoes?(rhetorical...
Roja Dove’s vetiver extrait.
Stopped an older Arabic man in the Dubai Mall as I wanted to buy whatever it was that he was wearing. He happily told me he was wearing Memo’s Irish Leather, he told me his wife had bought it for...
+1-Creed Green Irish Tweed. But wore Davidoff’s Cool Water.
It might be tough to get that type of projection in the fourth hour of wear with today’s reformulated fumes. Maybe hit up Scentido in Mumbai and pick up a bottle of Private Label by Jovoy Paris? Good...
Thanks, Hednic! :dankk2:
OK. Thanks. I smelled this one a lot back in the early 2000s at the clubs so I thought it would have naturally been phased out with the passage of time. I guess the classics never die! Apologies FWB...
