Yes i have and other git clones but this one shocked me on how close it was

Does anyone have any recommendations for some cheap but good fragrances?
So far i have rive gauche and habit rouge which i found very easily and were both pretty cheap.
Just curios why u chose those
What would the sons of anarchy wear? From that biker tv show on fx
Which would u prefer git or aventus and where would u buy from fragrancenet or neimans?
A coworker of mine has got me really curious to smell this she said her bf got it from Spain and I can't find any reviews in the basenotes directory.
Has anyone smelled this?
i was just curious if anyone has turned their passion for fragrances into a career? even if your an SA at a retail store, i was just wondering what kind of jobs are out there in the fragrance...
thats about two grand worth of juice in just one month? your sick bro
i don't know maybe one of the mods finally cracked after he read his 156,876,854th post on creed.
you would think you called someones kid ugly with some of the responses you got.
i appreciate your honesty sir.
i get complimented ALL the time and to be honest there not that special anymore. :dankk2::rolleyesold:
are you dynamite dennis? if so i envy you brutha
that thread was based on speculation and is still yet to be verified. i don't think we will ever solve this until creed issues a personal statement on bottle production year verification, which will...
can you cite one reliable source that actually confirms that specific number as the production year of that bottle? again this is not a personal attack but i consider basenotes a reliable source of...
what was the theory behind that specific number? i've heard people say you can tell the production year through the lot number but no one has been able to back it up with a reliable source. i think...
can you cite your source? how did you find out that number was the production year?
try not to be offended its just i would really like conformation on your claims.
i've always wondered how you can tell the production year of a creed bottle. how did you find out that number was the production year? can you cite your source?
halston man amber
has bang been reformulated? i remember it smelling a lot more peppery when it came out.
i didn't know pdn came in 30ml bottles, where can i get them?
not to be confused with dingleberry pour homme
ahahaha that was sharp
that never even crossed my mind but now that you brought it up i'm very interested!
so i've got an itch that needs scratchin  i've got a c-note to blow today but i need some recommendations. its going to have to be designer and something easily accessible. i was thinking...
 yea what he said
just be honest man, atleast theyre going to replace it.
Chanel - Platinum Egoiste
Comme Des Garcons - Wonderwood
not expexting much from this :rolleyesold:
their most popular book is perfumes: the a-z guide. they even sell it at walmart.
im too paranoid about displaying my bottles, i worry about light exposure and what not. so i could care less how the bottle looks being as im the only one that will see them. im also weary on...
i went to ulta i skin tested both and went with bulgari man. i found the prada to be a little too sharp for my situation. thanks for the advice gentleman.
probably powdery gourmands
i need a clean inoffensive office scent. out of those two which would you prefer?
you bought a fragrance, an expensive one at that, based on the opinions of some fantards? bad move IMO
last two years? um halston man, halston man amber, van cleef arpels midnight in paris, marc jacobs bang, bulgari man, creed aventus, prada amber intense....
im sure theres more thats just off the...
i think OV is so versatile and has some very therapeutic citrus notes.
8 hours seems good to me
if you can find it HR legere by miles to the sun.
live jazz is more citrus/herbaceus prada amber is more soapy/clean. i prefer prada amber by miles to the sun.
i wanted MI but i bought unforgivable so yea, im just waiting for someone to rip off aventus
i think it means selfish
creed royal english leather, for when im having dinner with the queen.
i know that sucks my bottles are so gorgeous i want to display them. and it's a hassle to open a drawer, shuffle through boxes, open box carefully and spray. how about a bookshelf type display with...
lol im just waiting for the avatars to change like last year
if that really is the case i would look at niche companies in a whole different light.
are independent niche companies subjected to IFRA standards?
wow, i might have to reconsider my stance on this. i understand the logic behind fragrance and weather but i never thought it would be a boundary.
do you think fragrance is subjective to weather conditions? for example if the weather is hot do you feel la lighter/fresher fragrance would be a better choice? or if its cold a heavier/dense...
z by zegna
very inoffensive and versatile.
for a "safe" scent there are a lot of notes that i find offensive
prada amber ph
i think it might be the alcohol, in a weird way, killing any scent of aroma chemicals that might project off the skin. once the alcohol has dried out the aroma chemicals roam free and thats where you...
i agree with this man
my nose is still a rookie but i have never smelled anything like amouage gold other than amouage lyric. the first time i wore it my head was in the clouds.
dior eau sauvage?
can you ladies help me find a fragrance for my moms birthday?
she doesn't like to wear fragrances but i think it's because she hasn't smelled anything good yet. i want to be able to share my love...
i get a lot of lavender, mint and vanilla from this fragrance not too much wood but i guess if its listed in the note breakdown it has to be in the fragrance
definitely, i think my percentage is higher on the regret side of my collection at this point.
i've never heard anyone describe it as woody, interesting......
One blast to the jugular notch, ftw
im gonna say le male, even tho some might doubt its "freshness"
i like havana too. all the gentleman collection by aramis is good imo. and very affordable which is even better. havana used to be really hard to find and costed a lot on ebay and the re-release...
I only purchase fragrance's from established retailers. The extra 20 bucks or so is worth my peace of mind, but i only buy bottles 100ml or bigger so go fig.
so i can only afford one but im torn, which do you guys prefer?
does anyone know why the avatars are blurry? all of them look pixelated, can i change a setting somewhere to fix this?
This house really shines in their older offerings, imo. So i would consider sampling the classics first to get a feel of why this house has survived as long as it has.
Another great fragrance to add to the already impressive resume of one of the greatest noses in history.
Thank you Mr. Roucel
I don't know, where does Hyundai stand amongst the best automobile manufacturers?
fresh: guerlain imperiale
so i thought this topic would have been covered to death but i did a search and mostly came up with m7 fresh. if you have any "fresh" fragrance recommendations i would really appreciate them. i love...
i like that answer, definitely have to get my nose around that
you have a way better selection than i did when i was your age. i guess saving all your lunch money paid off
the dreamer is one of those fragrance's that makes me literally gag
i agree that it more than likely is olfactory fatigue. i once thought i bought a fake bottle of rive gauche because there was zero longevity and zero projection. work on your spraying skills daniel...
i don't get a similar vibe either. i had hm but i swapped it promptly after a few wearings. i blame olfactory fatigue for purchasing a whole bottle.
i got it! annick goutal with the label taken off?
someone quoted scentamental on another thread and he was talking about how hard and time consuming it is to make good basenotes. he said something along the lines that the heft of the fragrance are...
at this point cw would be a bad move. she might be putting up a hoop just to see if you'll jump through it. if you start jumping through hoops in the beginning she will not be attracted to that. show...
we're at the cusp of the era of the citrus aquatic imo. 80's were about macho powerhouses. 90's 00's were about citrus aquatic's and i see a shift to powdery gourmand's in the near future.
Update: I think my Rive Gauche is a fake. zero projection zero longevity
thank you gentleman, i learned a lot.
so would you consider grey market bottles inferior in quality? the price was comparable to say most major fragrance ETailer's
edit: i should have read more carefully, i don't think i'll buy from...
theres this one perfume shop at the mall that i bought a couple of bottles from and all the bottles got the serial numbers scratched off. the juice is real, as far as i can tell but why would the...
rive gauche ph
have you tried
pdn - new york?
i think it fits your criteria: niche, complex and pleasant
i like that answer
it depends on the church
