    Sticky: Re: Synchronized Fridays 2019

Fall fragrances - this is going to be a fun one. I could choose one of my lazy picks or try to wearing something that's creative and thinking outside of the box.

    Re: Clear Antaeus bottle

It was probably very innovative on Chanel's part at the time of the original release. The commercial was wonderful too but not as good as the one for Egoiste.
  3. Re: What time period do you consider "The Golden Age" of Fragrances?

The birth of Aventus... according to some very knowledgeable and credible SAs. :)
  4. Re: Recommend me an orange citrus frag?

Be sure to try Guerlain Eau de Cologne Imperial. It's a nice alternative to Citrus Bigarrade, you can pass on the Creed.
  5. Re: Fragrance for upcoming Autumn/Winter

    Chanel Egoiste
    Chanel Antaeus
    Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille
    Dior Homme Intense

Ones that I've already abundant supplies of that I plan on wearing regularly during the cooler months.
  6. Re: Vintage Chanel For Men Cologne

If had more juice of the vintage, I could wear this days at a time if not longer. Unfortunately haven't smelled any juice prior to the 80s. The dry down is the best part.

Re: Early Egoiste made in USA

That's an unusual find. I wonder what the reason to use a sticker for the batch code as oppose to using paint or having it etched? The label is printed on the bottle instead of a sticker label.
  9. Re: Fall/Winter Vanilla fragrance

I got a light vanilla oriental accord from the vintage even though vanilla is not listed as official note.
  10. Re: Found so many rare fragrances on Greek island

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to score some good fragrances.
  11. Re: Why did you wear what you wore today..

I was reading a thread earlier about Givenchy Gentlemen, decided I wanted to have some on my arm this evening.
  12. Re: Why did you wear what you wore today..

Is this the vintage juice that you have a decant of?
  13. Re: What time period do you consider "The Golden Age" of Fragrances?

    Backup bottle worthy

  26. Re: Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme

Haven't smelled the vintage formulation but I would expect it to smell much better than what is available now.
  27. Re: Your "chore" scents or dumb grabs at the moment

I thought it would be this.
  28. Re: Your "chore" scents or dumb grabs at the moment

    Chanel Egoiste
    Chanel Antaeus
    Chanel Pour Monsieur

  78. Re: Recommend me an orange citrus frag?

I would suggest sampling Creed Citrus Bigarrade. This one has the essence of a California orange grove, it's one of the most natural smelling citruses that I've smelled.
  79. Re: NEW Dasein release: Winter Green

Sounds like an interesting scent, thanks for the info.
