    Re: Colours and Colognes

Definitely. It's odd, but mainly I find this for my Creed's. Not so much with my other scents.

    Scent: Colors
    Millesime Imperial: White, Light Brown
    Himalaya: Light Blue, Pink
    GIT: Green :),...

Creed Himalaya == Nino Cerruti Pour Homme?

I've seen much on the touted similarity of XS and Himalaya, two fragrances I find to be quite different (in fact, I love Himalaya and actively dislike XS). But I don't think I've read anyone say...

Re: Going out to the bar, Which Cologne?

Personally, I would not go with A*Men. Despite some posts I've seen to the contrary, I find women tend not to like it that much. I've never had a compliment while wearing it.

    Creeds on the other...

    Re: Millésime Impérial

Hmm, I intensely dislike SMW. I can't get over the ink note. MI, however, I think is anything but linear.

As to The_Giraffe's contention that Creed is nothing special, as a novice myself, I've...

    Re: Green Irish Tweed

I've tried a number of Creed's offerings. What I always find interesting is how they change and develop as time goes on. Many of my other colognes don't evolve nearly as much. I don't care much...

    Re: Rive Gauche = Drakkar?!?

    I find them quite similar.

Of the two, though, I much prefer Drakkar, which as common as it may be is still a classic IMO. RG is good, but I don't find it *amazing*. In fact, of the fragrances I...
  7. Re: some things that you should know about creed p

It should be XS = Himalaya. ;)[/quote]
I still don't get this one though I've seen a few people say it.

There are distinctly different to my nose, with only marginal similarities.

    Creed Himalaya
  9. Re: Not another Rive Gauche Thread!...EdT vs. Inte

    Hmm...

I only have the edt and I have to use 8-9 sprays just for it to be noticable on me (past ten minutes or so).. It's odd because I've seen Indie_Guy write that MI has no lasting power for...
  10. Re: I Was Ordered to Buy Millesime Imperial..So I

In my experience (which is admittedly limited), MI is easily the biggest 'compliment-getter' of anything I own. In just the last two nights (both of which I was wearing MI), I had at least 3-4 girls...

Being a big fan of MI and having tested Unforgivable, I don't think there's much to worry about...

Yes, the top note smells identical to MI. But after a few minutes doesn't really smell much at...

    Re: What's your favorite Creed?

    I've only tried the following:
    SMW
    MI
    GIT
    BdP
    Himalaya

Of these, MI is easily my favorite. I don't even have the longevity problems of which others have spoken; it lasts for quite some time...
  14. Re: Sean John’s first Unforgivable fragrance with

    Tried this out.

On the initial spritz, it totally smelled like MI to me. So, I put a little on my wrists and wandered around to test a few other things. After the top note faded, it bore no...

Re: Creed Frags that, well.... aren't so great. &n

    SMW

It just smells synthetic, harsh and rather feminine to me.
  16. Re: Sean John’s first Unforgivable fragrance with

That's kinda interesting given that P. Diddy supposedly wears MI himself.

    Re: Silver Mountain Water

I don't think it smells much like MI at all. I love MI; I don't much care for SMW. To me SMW has a harsh synthetic note that dominates everything else. In addition, it seems distinctly feminine to me.

    Re: Drakkar Noir.....

I think Drakkar Noir is great. Sure, it has some negative connotations from overuse in the 80's, but if you're a bit younger, it's unlikely they matter. I'm 27 and really the only person I remember...

    Re: The Messy Look

I doubt a grocery store will have it.

I buy mine at the hair salon when I get a cut. Most salons pimp different brands, so if yours doesn't have it, I'd try the AG Cosmetics website.

    Re: The Messy Look

Stucco from AG Hair Cosmetics is very good for this. It's sea-clay based (ie. no shine) and is meant for those with fine hair.
