How did you get it for 86 bucks? I can only see it for 114 on BE
For others to smell, yes, but if you want to test longevity, spray only on arms or wrists (topside) so the scent doesn't become white nose to you

Not just for this frag but...
Longevity only slightly worse, nothing major. Still huge longevity. Don't spray your neck or chest and you'll see. You're experiencing olfactory fatigue.
Yes, but minor reformulation. New allure sport(I think ca 2009) has more aquatic top note, orange top note, less pepper, less / almost no vetiver, less cedar, more Tonka. Smells more like the generic...
Himalaya best by far. MI in winter will leave you wanting more. Himalaya is beautiful in winter and summer.
Ugh. This sucks, I'm almost out of my 2007 bottle with the sticker made in Italy. Where can I get another vintage version?
I've been out of the game for so long, is Vetiver Oriental now on the exclusive line only as well?
Do you cats foresee it jumping in price in a couple years and becoming a collector's item like many discontinued A&F frags?
I love Antaeus!
Petrucci your post implies that the scent is bad. But there directory reviews are 68:20:16, Positive:Neutral:Negative. I can't believe it!
3.4 oz EDT Spray (Tester)
Sale Price - $18.43
Retail Price - $31.00 (tester?)
Ok cool but what's your opinion on the matter? Have you smelled either?
I had the pleasure of receiving a sample of this scent from the Perfume House recently and I loved it, but as I continue to wear it I can't help but think it smells like something from Abercrombie...
I hate youtube reviews of fragrances. Yuck. If we had a smelltube or something, that'd be great.
If you're getting your idea of the thread's content from the first paragraph, there's no way to make an informed post on it. You haven't read his post yet.
Chanel No. 19
lol. didn't read the opening post or check the post date.
Parfum d'Empire Iskander definitely.
Recently been loving L'eau de L'eau myself.
So the limited edition bottle has different juice? confirmed?
I don't understand the keyword comparisons but w/e.
Wasn't aware that Allure Sport was a best seller..? I've never smelled anyone wear it but me, saw a guy buy it once but that's it, and sales...
Always hated Brit, smelled it again when I was at nordies the other day and I was totally blown away. To start with, it reminded me a LOT of Rose 31 for some reason. The new packaging was much more...
Someone is a new-gen Chanel fanatic ;D
why are there so many reviews comparing these two? they are so dissimilar. even looking at the note pyramids and not having smelled them before. am I alone in thinking this?
Good question johnny
In the context of my original post your post makes no sense
Figured out what la nuit reminds me of, some loccitane frag, can't remember which or too drunk to look it up
Imo you tone Exxo the lavender in Gris clair and add some smoke to the sweet warm base and you have gentleman, but I wish you would step back from that ledge my oriend!!!!!!
YSL la nuit
the one gentleman
...I'm not used to such good releases come so frequently!
Maybe you're like WHAT but straight up those two are p solid. While no crazy or offensive niche types,...
Haha I love where this has gone.. name change and all. I was so confused by the first post change at first, I thought you made another thread about the two colognes I was like -_______-
No offense but you just make a million threads about colognes and you just need to COMMIT to one for once. I don't recommend Gucci PH I at 18 years old. I'm 23 and most girls my age don't think they...
I prefer the first one though.
You have been on the forum for four months
I've been here for four years
And you have nearly as many posts as I do
800 of which are questions about scents you aren't ever going to bother to smell
nvm found it
Too bad nobody at my college knows anything more than department store shiz
I found this a while back but don't have it bookmarked anymore. It has an odd name, possibly with a t or z in it? Something slightly bizarre like that. And it sold Encre Noire, Antaeus (once upon a...
lmao @ OP
did not read the rest of topic
I would like to update my previous post in this ancient thread to be: Creed Himalaya.
I looove nutmeg, I've been cooking with it a lot lately and it makes me miss Visit
Hey y'all. Sorry I don't come round much anymore. Hella busy and not much moolah to be sampling perfumes with.
But I was wondering. Does anyone else find CDG Kyoto similar to Azzaro Visit? I never...
HUGE fan of the packaging. Excellent design.
JKR (the design group behind it) is pretty legit. Here's their article about Sartorial's design....
A surprising number of people - even vets - aren't aware of olfactory fatigue and never get the opinions of others.
Before they muted the vetiver and amped up the aquatic opening.
The balance is a little off now. I just sprayed some of my old 1.7 oz bottle (almost gone, been saving it since I know it's much...
Bottle looks amazing.
Now don't get me wrong. I love allure sport. And I like fresh fruity woody colognes. But that is all Chanel has been doing lately. I just want something new from them.
btw dont worry about it, my gucci envy bottle has that, no big. I think it's just deterioration over time.
Looooooollllllll bigsly best post of the year!!!!!!!
I would imagine as much. Still, that was just an example. Dahn al Oudh Moattaq going for something like $128 is not too shabby either.
Wow, Zahras must have it good. How can she afford to sell Ajmal perfumes at such a low price? (17 dollars for 100ml Neutron EDP?)
Tough call. Both last 8+ hours, both smell great, Himalaya is more unique, GIT is a little longer lasting. I have Himalaya. Can't go wrong with either.
"Fresh, clean, sexual..."
mehhh I don't need another fresh clean BLUE cologne.. I want something more unique. Please stop trying to please the masses!! Ralph Lauren and many others beat you to...
I can't believe nobody finds these similar. Especially when I looked at their pyramids.
Aldehydes, Mandarin, Orange, Aquatic Note.
Black Pepper, Neroli, Cedar.
Tonka, Vetiver, Amber, White Musk....
very similar. the winner?
Word up Pluran.
Stylin - what do you mean about Dhofar smelling like many other male scents? Do you mean this in the same way that Silver Mountain Water belongs to a family of scents that have a certain ubiquitous...
Also LOL at this latest review of Cool Water. It reminds me of American Psycho.
"I have been wearing this for at least 15 years....its my favorite cologne. It reminds of water that is cool. A...
Hey so for some reason I've been in a designer scent stint as of late. I've also started liking REALLY mainstream music. I still like niche stuff I guess but it just doesn't appeal to me as much...
Depends what you're looking for. I prefer Epic.
That's disappointing to hear. My friend said that the women's line from Shaikh sucks, but that she loves the chic for men. What other scents does it smell like, if it's unoriginal?
Also, a little trivia for y'all. Amouage means "waves," and Ajmal means "prettier"/"more beautiful." :)
I showed my Saudi friend Ambre Sultan today and she loved it, and showed me Shaikh.
Anybody tried this?
is it a commercial fragrance like Ajmal or is it just a bottle?
Yeah, it's Gold now :D
DKNY Red Delicious! (unfortunately kind of hard to find nowadays)
Lacost Red Play or Style in Play (can't remember which)
Just got a sample of this (Gold for Men) and after reading all the reviews I was expecting to get blasted in the face by a very wild scent, similar to Kouros.
My experience of it is rather tame...
hahah the last few lines by sean john are great
Guy telling me what my cologne is in the locker room = he must be gay. That is the only association pretty much all men will have, EVEN ME, and I talk with guys about their colognes everywhere else.
AGREED. also +1 to your repeat
Check out Mechant Loup. by L'Artisan.
This thread sucks.
You're gonna hate yourself if you buy BdP expecting to get the same mileage out of it over summer as you would MI.
Don't buy shit blind.
Antaeus is my fav. 2nd fav is Allure. 3rd fav is PE. 4th is Pour Monsieur.
PE lasts longer than Allure. Antaeus lasts longer than both of them.
Antaeus is difficult to palette at first. The...
I was just inspired to bust out my old sample of Aziyade. I love it now. Go figure.
Not in the slightest x_x
I once was wearing L'Eau d'Issey and a drunk college girl asked me if I was wearing Fierce. Really? Nothing like it either.
Which is nothing like Fierce. -_-
Givenchy Play Intense is nothing like it. Also, gonna have to disagree on every scent named so far, as far as I can recall the only one I remember being close to it is Davidoff Adventure.
That picture is photoshopped up the ass. Pun intended. If you saw her booty on the street, actually her entire body, would not look like that. I can see the areas where they touched it and exactly...
Girls react to YOU, not the cologne you're wearing.
AHS. Geir gave my ex a headache. Versace isn't as sexy as AHS.
"To be honest I just wanted to try a good middle eastern scent."
Yo dude. Sounds like you don't want a lot of complication which I totally relate to so I'll give you a simple answer. Just go with...
Fierce, AdG, Curve, Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole, D&G PH, Le Male
Jubilation XXV is the one you have to try.
I like other ones better, but it's definitely the Ambre Sultan of Amouage.
Definitely made the right choice with Issey. It was a blind buy for me too.
I'm 22 and Platinum still wins.
One of my girl friends smelled it on a card last year on my desk. Her response: "MMMMMMMMMMM....!!!!!"
Silver Mountain Water
Any aquatic really. Or lemony scent. Those are my favs.
scentiments has had bmen on the CHEAP for the longest time
Ever think about decanting a little? :D
I loooooove Bmen and the rhubarb. I used to walk by a house with rhubarb out front on the way home from school two years ago and I would smell it each time and breathe deep.
Yeah I love it it's pretty nostalgic. But it's wayyyyy stronger in terms of lasting power than I'd like, and overpowers my colognes.
Definitely Ambre Sultan. Has always been my most complimented college-party choice. (NOT a large amount of sprays, only enough that the girls can smell you when you two are in eachother's zones) I'm...
