Meet fellow Basenoters at the Basenotes London Lunch.

LONDON, UK: Make a note in your diary folks because Basenotes are pleased to announce the first ever Basenotes Lunch in London on Saturday, February 24th 2007. It has been discussed time and again on the boards and various proposals have been put forward but finally the first official meeting of Basenoters is being organised. We are currently finalizing arrangements with some of the most high profile perfumeries in London to organise a day full of fragrance appreciation, shopping, lunching and sharing it all with like-minded people. Two of our esteemed community moderators will be in attendance as will site owner, Grant Osborne.

The day will begin with breakfast at 10am before visits to two of the most luxurious fragrance destinations in the capital. Lunch in Knightsbridge will take place at 1.30pm, followed by another two visits to exclusive perfume houses in the afternoon and the day will be come to an end in grand style with afternoon tea at an exclusive Mayfair hotel at 5.30pm. There will possibly be time for one or two unscheduled stops throughout the day, and there will be people available at our scheduled stops to speak to our group about the brands and the people behind them – we may even meet a perfumer or two along the way…

Please note that in the first instance tickets will be extremely limited and will be distributed on a strictly first come first served basis. If the idea proves to be popular we hope to arrange further days at other locations in the very near future.
