Basenotes are delighted to announce full details of the first official Basenotes Lunch. The event will take place in the heart of London and will take in some of the finest perfume emporiums the capital has to offer. Confirmed venues include Ormonde Jayne on Bond Street, Roja Dove's Haute Parfumerie at Harrods and Les Senteurs in Belgravia.

The day will begin at a central London meeting point at 9.30am and start with a fabulously french breakfast of croissants and coffee and two fragrance destinations. The group will have a chance to browse, sample, share thoughts and ask questions of the expert teams at the first two stops.

A classic Italian two course lunch will follow at a venue opposite the sprawling greenery of London's famous Hyde Park. A stroll down Piccadilly will help us to digest our lunch before bringing us to another three fragrant hot spots where we will again have a chance to sample the products, make purchases, ask questions and go on a deeper fragrance journey than Saturday afternoon shopping usually allows. We will finish the day in traditional English style with afternoon tea at an elegant Mayfair hotel at 5.30pm.

At all of our stops there will be experts on hand to discuss the brands, perfumes and products. There will be time to browse, ask questions, swap notes with fellow Basenoters and of course make purchases. Some of these destinations are quite small and on that basis tickets will be limited to twenty-one for this first event. We are hoping however, that a positive response will lead to further events in other locations. Due to the limited number of tickets the maximum per customer is two tickets.

A full itinerary will be sent out with the tickets, along with a map, brand/store profiles, Italian lunch menu and general information. In addition we have been secretly informed that during at least one of our stops we may have the opportunity to smell a fragrance that has yet to be launched in the UK, making us the first UK consumers to try it...Shhhhhhh!

So if you would like to join us on Saturday 24th February 2007 at 9.30am for a tour of London's finest fragrance outlets to discuss your passion with like-minded people, over breakfast, lunch and tea, we would love to see you. Due to limited numbers the maximum number of tickets is two per person.

• The day will be spent walking from place to place and so please contact us for further information if you are unsure that the level of physical activity involved is appropriate for you. We can give you a more detailed idea of the length of time spent walking and you can decide for yourself if this particular event is right for you.
• The cost of tickets includes the food and events as described but does not include travel or accommodation. Please ensure you have made adequate provision for these before travelling.
• Basenotes reserves the right to change venues/times following unforeseen circumstances. Full refunds will be made following a full cancellation of the day, but not in the event of venues/timings being altered.
• The menu provided here is a guideline as to what will be available but is subject to change at the discretion of the lunch venue. The food will be of equivalent quality and value if different from that specified here. Ticket price includes a two course lunch, one glass of house wine or one soft drink and tea or coffee. Additional lunchtime beverages are not included in the ticket price. Chilled water will be available throughout the meal.
