Each year at Basenotes we've done the 'Basenotes Awards' where we let our visitors vote for their fave fragrance and grooming products. We're doing things a bit different this year. (Women's products are included this year for a start).

This year, I'm letting the members of the Basenotes Community choose the nominees, and then the winners will be decided by a poll which will be pasted on the front of the site.

You have until the end of November to post your favourites to this thread. The most popular scents will go to vote.
(Nomination threads are available in Men's Discussion, Women's Discussion and Men's Grooming.)

Best Hair product: Tony & Guy Insights Twirl and Curl balm

Best Lipstick: (brand not colour) Clinique

Best Nail polish: (brand not colour) Max Factor Jet Set (dries superfast)

Best foundation: YSL compact cream foundation (starts off cream and ends up a light powdery film with superb coverage).

Best Facial Skincare product: Avonâs Maximum Moisture Super Hydrating gel ö itâs the only moisturizer my facial skin is not allergic to

Best skincare range: St Ives, for their cleanser, facial wipes, toner, and apricot scrub for sensitive skin

Best Body/Bath Product: 212 show lotions, also love Cerutti Image's shower lotion.

Best Hair product: Schwartzkopfâs extra care leave in conditioner complete nourishment

Best Lipstick: Loreal

Best Nail polish: Avon color last plus

Best foundation: Maybelline 3 in 1 works for me

(Youâll note all these lines are in the cheap range ö amazing that many of the upper priced skin care products react badly on my skin).

Best Hair product: Kerastase Soleil Creme Richesse

Best Lipstick: (brand not colour) Kiss Kiss Guerlain , Juice tubes Lancome for glosses

Best Nail polish: (brand not colour) Mavala

Best foundation: don't normally use , just concealer/highlighter : Precious Light by Guerlain is the best.( If hard pressed , I'd say Clinique perfectly real foundation was seamless and natural enough)
