If you could only have one........

Thread Starter
If you had to choose one frag for all occaisions what would it be and why? It's not just about which is your favourite, it's also about which is most versatile.

For me it would be Creeds Royal Scottish Lavender. It seems to work hot or cold, day or night. Each seems to bring out a different facet.; fresh....spicy...woody...sweet.

What about you?

probably Miracle or XS.
Emporio Armani He would also be a good option.

Creeds' Original Vetiver/GIT/Erolfa, Guerlain Vetiver or Gendarme.

Use only one? Horrors, Hirch, you may be banned for that!!!!!!

But if I had to, the one that waves to me on every type of day is L'Instant.

Hi all,

God, how I hate the thought of this question! That being said, lol, if I had to choose only ONE for all reasons and seasons, I still have to go with my long time favorite :
CREED TABAROME MILLESIME!

Regards,
SixCats!

Today I will answer Lanvin L'Homme.

Tomorrow the answer would probably by Bois du Portugal.

The day after that....

Good choice Vijay...Me too!

Impossible to choose. If faced with this horrific choice, I'd frantically guzzle all my fragrances in a desperate hara-kiri attempt.

Since it is summer, maybe Eau des Merveilles

Nicole Miller for Men...I LOVE smelling this, women love smelling this...boozy, sweet, woody...runs the gamut. That's it for me! My no. 1...I'm like a miser with this scent now. Save it for the best moments.

I've been trying to keep my wardrobe to just one-fragrance-for-everything for as far as I can remember, and the only thing I can say is that it doesn't work.

Yet, if I had to make a decision for my life, well, I think I would go for Armani Eau Pour Homme (however boring that may seem.) I think it's one fragrance I couldn't get tired of, and I assume this is really what we are looking at through this question. I add Balenciaga's Ho Hang too.

However, I'd like to modify the question slightly : if you had to choose just one fragrance, regardless of its being versatile (i.e. forget about "casual wearing" and just go for "special occasions&quot, what would you choose then ?

In that case, I think I would go for Vetiver Oriental by Serge Lutens.

A very difficult question. A lot of my favorites have a very strong personality, which can make them less versatile and/or easy to burn out on if worn every day.

But if I had to pick just one, would I want something with less personality? If I'm only choosing one, it becomes my signature and I would want something that is expressive, rather than merely pleasant.

Therefore, I'd probably end up choosing from among Azzaro Visit, Chanel Antaeus, YSL Kouros or M7, with perhaps an honorable mention to Dior Fahrenheit or Aramis 900.

Ouch... what a tough decision.

In the end, I'd need to pick something versatile, simple, and easy to share with others in a pinch. Either Mugler Cologne or Gaultier2 (one of my new faves... read my post "Thumbs up to the power of two&quot would do the trick.

this question is meaningless. there's no going back!! if i really had to choose, I would probably lose my mind in the process...

Eau Sauvage..................always!

Mic.
Chanel Pour Monsieur (non-concentree)
[although Stardust for Men could also be the one, but
I think PM would be more versatile].

If I was FORCED to choose one, I guess it would have to be Chanel Egoiste......

........but.....it could also be Caron L'Impact de Pour un Homme.....Yes, I would be very happy with this one....

....or......it could be Clive Christian 1872......Oh yeah, I could live with 1872....

....however, if any of these were not available, I could very willingly be convinced to go with ....Boucheron Jaipur Homme EDP....

.....then again...I could also very happily go with....Czech & Speake Neroli....

and.....if NONE of these were available, I would be very pleased if my one frag was Chanel Bois des Iles!

I'm going to have to pimp Mr John Varvatos. I wear this as a casual work scent in warm weather or cold, going out or just hanging around, etc. It just seems to fit me in any situation.
